It was a good sunset view from the hotel and from the room.
We left after 2 hours. The hotel was badly run down and filthy. Feel pretty misled by the images. Relocated to the Movenpick up the coast for the same price.

Die Deluxe Zimmer mit der fabelhaften Aussicht hat aufs Meer. Und die Ruhe. Weil bisschen abgelegen. Aber sehr gut erreichbar mit Roller. Ca 5 min nach duong dong

Odalar eskiydi koltukların kılıfları eskimiş ve lekeliydi tahta kısımlarda böcek ve kertenkele olduğuna eminiz biz rezervasyonu iptal edip otel değiştirdik paramızı tam iade alamasak bile bunu göze aldık uyuyabileceğimizi sanmıyorduk …Türkiye’den ve Avrupa’dan gelenler için tavsiye etmiyoruz umarız bizim yaşadığımızı sizde yaşamazsınız. Bahsettiğim odalar deniz manzaralı odalardan biriydi temizlik ve bakım çok eksilerde… Aynı fiyata yepyeni oteller bulabilirsiniz

Despite being a bit removed from the main city center, the stunning beachfront location, grand room sizes, and top-tier amenities make this hotel an outstanding choice. The beachfront location is good however the beach is not good for swimming

Staff were very nice, we had an AMAZING driver who worked for the hotel. Pool was nice, food at the restaurant and breakfast was nice, pick up service was quick and easy. Beautiful view of the ocean
Not a location I would stay in again, seems a bit far from touristy spots, couldn’t just walk down the street. The room was a bit underwhelming, our air conditioner didn’t work. Still a good experience though

So gut wie nichts vlt das die Anlage groß war.
Alles total heruntergekommen, alt kaputt verrostet verschimmelt. Das Personal kann da wenig für. Ich nehme an da wird einfach vom Besitzer kein Gels investiert. Wir hatten sogar eine Maus im Zimmer.

beach is not accessible due to huge waves, very poorly maintained property, insects,dogs everywhere, the property badly needs a revamp. But room size and rooms are clean and well kept

Garden villa is big and bed very comfy. Breakfast was enjoyable.
Hotel need some renovations, lots of mosaics titles missed in main pool area. The garden villa should be better cleaned, the areas like windows outside and inside, wood ornaments were very dusty. Would be nice to have a better garden around the villa so can sit there with coffee.

The value for money was exceptional! Great location, quiet yet close enough (by inexpensive taxis) to all tourist attractions. The swim up bar was terrific and very well priced.
The property buildings are showing signs of age and lack of maintenance funding. However the room was lovely and the 2 restaurants were perfect.

The property was in a convenient location. Staff were lovely and very helpful. The resort itself is very tired and in need of restoration. However our room was comfortable and breakfast was really good with lots of options.
On several occasions they forgot to clean our room, and we had to remind them. The resort would benefit from some more staff to help with maintenance. Gardens are unkempt except for the surrounding pool area. It would also benefit from extra staff serving around the pool area.

The property is well spaced out yet easy to find your room, the pools and the surrounding areas we excellent, and my room was very spacious,clean,tidy, and very comfortable
I liked everything about the property, the only thing is it could probably do with a coat of paint, just to freshen it up, The beach isn’t very nice due to plastic, but that’s not exactly a resort problem, it’s a Vietnam problem, but I would definitely come back to your resort, all your staff were excellent 😊

Aamupala oli hyvää ja paljon vaihtoehtoja!
meidän huoneessa ilmastointi toimi vaan ekana päivänä. Seuraavana päivänä ei toiminut ja kerroimme tästä henkilökunnalle. 2 poikaa yrittivät tulla korjaamaan, mutta eivät onnistuneet, jonka jälkeen toivat meille tuulettimen???? Tuuletin 33 asteen helteessä ei auta! Aivan kamalat 5 yötä. Olemme hikoilleet 4 yötä. Mainittiin 2 kertaa ja pyydettiin kauniisti, että voitteko korjata, mutta eivät korjanneet, joten päätimme olla vaan hiljaa.

I have checked into my reservation and I’m very disappointed on how the hotel has left this place. I booked for 3 nights and pay about $160 a night for luxury suite with balcony ocean view. Just for the room to look like it was being neglected for years. The coffee sink was dirt and has stains so thick. The balcony chairs were all torn up with blood stained. The floor has plenty of cracks through out the room. All the way up to the bathtub. The bathtub itself was disgustingly dirty. The welcome folded towel matches the color of the floor that hasn’t been mopped. The curtain has mold from the bottom to the top. I have never been so disappointed in a resort. The sofa next to the bed is very dirty and smells. The bathroom is disgusting. I paid for 3 nights but checked out the first hour of seeing the suite. This resort is not what is described or advertised. This is being dishonest at this point. They charged me for the night I didn’t even stay. It is not because I didn’t want to stay but the place isn’t hygienic to stay with the amount of mold in the room. I should’ve known from the moment I saw the resort front pond. One side has dirt water and the other side was all dry up. The front office was hot and with a funny smell, no AC. That probably was my sign to get out. I thought I still gave it a chance and see the suite, but i was wrong. They probably gonna reply with some kind of booshit/explaination/excuses back on this review.

We have to say overall we were extremely disappointed with our stay at the shells. We originally booked for 4 nights, but left after just one. The hotel itself had a lot of promise, but it seems to have been left to rot, with years of wear and tear. The room itself had a number of bugs and lizards in it when we arrived. The bathroom also had black mold, with many in room amenities not working. The atmosphere in the hotel was like a ghost town, with very little sign of life. All things considered, we were sold a “5* retreat, which in reality, was more like a 2* experience.

Lovely resort and setup. Buffet breakfast was great. No walkable restaurants nearby so had to travel by Grab for food as restaurant offerings were limited. Beach was picturesque but unfortunately there was often plastic bags and other rubbish in the water. Pools were great. Staff were brilliant.We loved our time at the resort. We had a family group and stayed in the poolside villas.
More Vietnamese food in the restaurant. The resort is looking a bit tired but it seems some refurbishment has commenced. This is understandable after such a long closure over the Covid period. Great to see business still keeping going. The resort has great potential

The villas are honestly the highlight. Very spacious, clean, and well designed. Proper blackout curtains, a really comfortable bed, strong air con, double sinks, separate toilet and shower. The terrace is also a nice touch, and because of all the greenery around our villa, it felt properly private (not all of them were the same).
The grounds are big and really well kept — great if you want to go for a morning run or just walk around. Two pools: a quieter one near the villas and a beachfront pool with a bar. Plenty of sunbeds and towels.
There’s a small gym — nothing special, but enough for a short stay — and a spa which we didn’t get around to trying.
Buggy service is useful given how spread out everything is. It works well overall, just not always the quickest.
Breakfast is very good. There’s pretty much everything — hot dishes, eggs, pancakes, fruit, pastries, breads, yoghurt, juices, coffee. You won’t struggle to find something you like. The restaurant also has a decent mix of Western and Vietnamese dishes for lunch and dinner.
None of these ruined the stay, but they’re worth knowing. Getting through to reception can be a bit hit and miss. Sometimes no answer, or it just takes longer than it should — especially if you’re calling for a buggy. English is quite limited with a lot of the staff, so you end up using a translation app quite a bit. It’s manageable, just not ideal. The main thing missing is atmosphere in the evenings. It’s very quiet — no music, no entertainment — which you feel more because the resort is quite remote (about 2 km from the nearest supermarket). Even something simple like live music would make a difference. Also, there’s no small shop on site, which would really help for basics like water or snacks or ice cream. It would also be useful if the hotel provided a simple guide with things to do and places to visit nearby, as it’s not that easy to get information otherwise. Lastly, a shuttle to the night market would be a great addition — at the moment you need to rely on taxis.

Because we stayed in family suite with ocean view, it compensated all the rest with its massive 135 square meters room.
But requires a lot of cleaning, seam like it never seen good clean, toilet didn't work, even reported twice to reception, until demanded to come and fix it.
Location itself is good as described.

Clean and hygiene , great value of money , very calm place .
Guests using pool with clothes wearing Tshirts , it’s must be restricted 🚫 to use swimming pool 🏊♀️ with your sweaty tshirts , mostly I believe Indians who just come to take pictures with clothes in swimming pool 😂. Come on this is not India must remember and fill the country rules .

They have buggy services to our rooms, makes it more convenient and the staff are friendly, very responsive concierge team
The gym is not maintained properly, every machine was not in working condition. The balcony was full of bugs at night, full of cockroaches. When we checked out, the staff told us there is 1 missing slipper and wanted to charge us for it, in the end they found it but in the first place shouldn't they be replacing the slippers after every guest use it? and charging for it does not make any sense at all.

Chambre sale, dentifrice sur le robinet ,sable dans la douche , tous les éviers étaient bouchés l’hôtel est loin de tout les Grab ne se déplacent pas jusque là-bas il faut toujours prendre un taxi et la plage de l’hôtel n’est pas belle attention les prix des boissons dans la chambre sont hors taxe donc ils indiquent par exemple pour un coca 50000 et il fait rajouter 7000 de taxe bref à fuire j’oubliai les peignoirs troués et délavés

Śniadanie miało urozmaicone, niby był wybór, a jednak nie było co wybrać.
Basen był bardzo fajny, duży, czysty i z przyjemną wodą.
Bardzo dobre jedzenie w restauracji i w bardzo dobrej cenie.

Czystość w pokoju - pleśń na fugach, brudne firanki i w ogólne nie umyte szyby (te w oknach i te na tarasie). Brudna podłoga - pomimo codziennego sprzątania. Hotel stary i zaniedbany - leżaki połamane, poduszki dziurawe, materace na leżakach brudne, krzesła przy basenie porozrywane (niewielkim kosztem można by to było naprawić i poprawić efekt wizualny).

Staff are very helpful and a special mention to Hai at the pool bar, quality bartender and mixologist.
The hotel has real potential, but unfortunately has been let go in the maintenance department for the upkeep of parts of the building which makes it look a bit dated. Other than that it is an ok place to stay, pending some major upkeep this hotel has the potential and setting of being a fantastic place to stay.

Das Zimmer mit Meerblick war wirklich toll.
Der Strand ist wirklich kaum vorhanden. Die Liegen stehen auf dem Gras oben. Das Essen war auch nicht besonders und die Wartezeit ewig. Und ohne Grab kommt man nirgendwo hin. Es liegt wirklich sehr weit draußen.

Die Lage am kleinen Strand war wirklich wunderbar ansonsten muss man immer eine Weile fahren, was aber völlig okay ist. Das Zimmer war groß, genauso wie der Pool.
Das Personal konnte nicht gut Englisch. Dadurch wurde öfter Essen falsch geliefert. Das Personal könnte auch öfter auf den Gast zugehen. Lange wurde nichts abgeräumt. Es war nicht immer so gesäubert, wie wir uns das vorgestellt hatten, Handtücher hätten mehr sein können. Zwei Handtücher für vier Personen war etwas wenig.

Przestrzegam każdego, kto zamierza skorzystać z tego obiektu. Hotel wygląda jakby był na skraju upadłości. Zdjęcia z oferty nie mają nic wspólnego z rzeczywistością. Są to pewnie zdjęcia z otwarcia hotelu i może wówczas było naprawdę dobrze. Na dziś jest katastrofa. Brud, syf i malaria. Na śniadaniu jest zrobiona wystawa z pieczywa, która jest dekoracją pokrytą pleśnią. Cały obiekt wygląda jakby nie był w ogóle utrzymywany przez ostatnie lata. SPA i siłownia - sądzę że w strefach wojny są w lepszym stanie. Stanowczo odradzam pobyt w tym miejscu dopóki nie przeprowadzą generalnego remontu. Na poparcie wrzucam zdjęcia z tego 5* hotelu. Mam ich z 30 ale mogę wrzucić 4.

L'ensemble est très bien même si on peut voir que l'établissement vieillit mais à part le SPA où il n'y avait qu'une seule personne disponible et la qualité du massage était moyen sinon le reste était très bien, surtout le personnel qui est vraiment top. Merci à eux pour leur gentillesse et leur sens du service.

cela fait la 4ème année que je viens donc j'aime le calme autour de la piscine mais je trouve un peu dur que le personnel ne soit ni à l'ombre ni de chaise pourquoi avoir enlevé le lieu où ils étaient je voie qu'il y a quelque travaux de rénovation j'espère que cela va continuer (je préférais le cuisinier avant ) j'ai passé un mois j'aimerai pouvoir louer en direct est-ce possible merci de me faire savoir par mail :

Tout est parfait, calme, propre, en plus les petits pavillons sont jolis et l'ensemble est harmonieux.
Petite remarques pour l'hôtel, changer les panneaux :" ne pas déranger " qui s'envolent avec le vent, et du coup le ménage n'est pas fait. Mettre une machine expresso au petit déjeuner.

Die Auswahl des Frühstücks ist riesig und extrem lecker
Die Mitarbeiter sind alle super freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Das Resort ist super ruhig gelegen und der privat Beach ist echt Mega.
Es gibt zudem eine Poolbar und ein leckeres Hotelrestaurant, wenn man mal keine Lust hat auswärts essen zu gehen.
Das Hotel und die gesamte Anlage wirken echt paradiesisch, aber sind leider schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Instandhaltung von einzelnen Dingen wird leider etwas vernachlässigt, aber das ist Kritik auf hohem Niveau. Nichtsdestotrotz ist es super schön dort und wer Entspannung sucht ist dort definitiv richtig!

Plusieurs piscines. La plage privée est propre, les lieux sont propres. Le petit déjeuner est varié avec beaucoup de choix. Le personnel est aux petits soins. Lieux sécurisés, facilement accessibles via Grab, bon emplacement par rapport à la "grande" ville. Malgré que l'hôtel était complet, nous n'avons pas eu l'impression qu'il y avait beaucoup de vacanciers au vu de la taille du resort.

The bungalow accommodation was beautiful. Lovely private beach and easy access to transportation to get around the island. Good buggy service across the facilities.
Breakfast could get manic if you arrived at peak times with coffee cups, juice cups not being available. Wide range of food options.

if i have to be picky, i didnt like the glass doors of the bathrooms. the glass type isnt the clear type so it makes the bathroom appear to be a bit dirty. also the lighting is romantic but for people that want to put on makeup like me, i had to turn on the flashlight from my phone LOL

Checkin process. When i entered at 3:30 pm , room was not ready. I complaint about it then i got room ready by 4:00pm. They acted unprofessionally.

The location is private.
Design of the resort is pleasant.
The room was large.
Nice pools and plenty of sun loungers.

A bit isolated. Taxis required to get everywhere. Have to agree with other reviewers, it is not a 5 star hotel now....maybe it was when it opened. It needs a lot of TLC! Many areas look old, some look dirty and rusted. The cushions on the capsule loungers by the pool were torn and grubby. Useless, very old toasters. Even on highest setting, toast wasn't brown after going through six times!

Great staff and excellent villa.
Getting in and out of town was difficult at times - depending on the time of day and night. Very reliant on getting taxi/grab from hotel staff as some taxi and grab don't go to shells. But generally this was achieved with persistence and higher prices to get home after night out in town. Hotel staff very on the ball in getting taxi and grab though - they do a very good.

THERE WERE NO BASIC PROVISIONS OF CLEAN TOWELS OR SHAMPOO OR SOAP EVEN ASKING SO MANY TIMES…..THEY DONT PROVIDE SUFFICIENT WATER……THEY CHARGE A BOMB AND YHE LOCATION IS IN A GOD FORSAKEN PLACE. Sehr zentral, gut und ruhig gelegen, alles vor Ort was man braucht und sehr nettes bemühtes Personal.
Alles ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen, aber man fühlt sich wohl. Das Restaurant und die Bars sind verhältnismäßig Teuer für Vietnam/Phi Quoc.

Výhľad na more, pekne okolie rezortu, vaňa, pohodlná posteľ, veľký výber raňajok
Pleseň v sprchovom kúte, na stenách, čisté iba “na oko”, nabíjačky nenabijali, nedržali zastrcene v zastrčkach, neochota personálu. Na stene vedľa sprchové kúta, bolo zavesené veľké ťažké zrkadlo, ktoré sa posledný večer odtrhlo, spadlo a rozbilo a reálne mohlo niekoho z nás zabiť nakolko som stala asi pól metra od miesta kde spadlo. Personál a manažér recepcie to chceli hodiť na nás, že sme do toho buchli sprchovymi dverami (čo ani nebolo možné) a chceli od nás zrkadlo zaplatiť, s čím sme samozrejme nesúhlasili, keďže to vôbec nebolo našou vinou. Nakoniec sa ukázalo že aj zrkadlo na druhej strane je zle upevnené, jedna strana je celá povolená a hýbe sa, a bolo len otázkou času kedy by aj toto spadlo a rozbilo sa, presne tak isto ako zrkadlo v kúpeľni. Samozrejme nato, aby sme dokázali že to nebola naša vina sme museli nástojčit a doprosovať sa aby sa išli sami pozrieť na tu izbu že aj zrkadlo na opačnej strane je zle upevnené. Nakoniec nám dali za pravdu a samozrejme nám nič nedali zaplatiť, ale AROGANTNOSŤ MANAŽÉRA nemá hraníc. Na konci toho celého sme nedostali ani obyčajne ospravedlnenie za celú túto situáciu. Či už zato za to že zrkadlo mohlo niekoho zabiť alebo minimálne zraniť (a až vtedy by pochopili aký majú problém) alebo za ich obviňovanie a hádzanie viny na nás.

Very helpful staff. Decent location as it's equal distance to the north and south parts of the island. Peaceful and lovely environment. Breakfast is pretty solid. Comfortable beds for a good rest.
The pool area can have loud music that blasts through the day. If you're staying in the main building surrounding the pool it may be noisy. But staff are responsive and can adjust if you give them a ring. Rooms are equipped but can be old so make sure everything works when you get in. All minor niggles. Nice view but beach is small - not really what you're looking for if you go to Phu Quoc.

Incredibly nice hotel with private beach and great large villas, or room with seaview, dreamy sunset on a private beach, expansive swimming pools, a hearty breakfast buffet and super friendly staff ! What more could you ask from a resort ! Wonderful experience. It was one of the finest hotels I have traveled to. The hotel is located a little outside the city, but there is always available cheap taxi at the entrance. You get driven from the reception desk to the room with the electric buggy. Beautiful nature around. Hotel staff were all very kind and helpful. I would recommend this hotel with 100%.

We stayed at here for 5 days and had a truly relaxing days. The resort felt peaceful and private (not crowded at all) so it was easy to rest and enjoy quiet time. The beach was awesome: small and beautiful, and perfect for swimming and relaxing.
One of the highlights for our family was the shell-shaped pool. It’s such a unique design and it was great for kids, they had so much fun there every day.
The food was delicious, and we especially enjoyed breakfast. There was a nice variety, and even the desserts were different every day, which made meals feel fresh and special.
The only downside was that the bar located in the shell-shaped pool didn’t work during our stay. Maybe it was because there weren’t many guests, so they didn’t run the service, but it would have been nice to have it open.

The poolside villa was very spacious, had all the amenities we needed and was very quiet/peaceful. The views from the main pool/beach were incredible, and the poolside bar was great too. Breakfast was plentiful with heels of choice. The staff were very friendly and attentive, sorting any issue we had straight away.
The property overall could do with a maintenance upgrade, some parts looked a little rundown but it did not affect our experience.

La comida estaba muy sabrosa, los desayunos abundantes y muy buenos, las habitaciones muy cómodas y amplias con una gran terraza. La piscina y la zona de la playa espectacular, especialmente al atardecer.

Location of the property and petite beach front setting makes it an ideal place for staycation.

Veiw from the room was amazing

The room was not clean, cigarette butt's and used matches on the balcony Rubbish still in the room Had to request for balcony to be swept after 2 nights, then it was only done the once Changed bed but left a pillow without a cover Room did not lock, reported it at 7am, still not fixed when we returned at 5pm after being out all day,had to report it again Changed the dressing gowns but only replaced one No service at the bar or the sunbeds ,was lucky if you got one way on the shuttle to or from your room Room wasn't mopped the entire 5 nights we stayed Would it stay again NO Whole place lacking general cleanliness Place needs lot of TLC, definitely not 5 star, stayed in 3 star with better service and cleanliness at a fraction of the price in vietnam

The pool setup and layout of the property . The staff are incredible especially Duc Thhan who really helped keep me calm after my hubby got food poisoning at the restaurant which was so empty . He kept in touch with me over WhatsApp and sent over revive juice as well as some panado. We were very grateful for his extra care and he even came to check in on us

On top of all that my hubby fell as we had to get room key which was not linked as we found out after waiting in the dark for someone to bring a scanned key so we could access our room . We waited 50 minutes and then hubby had to walk back again to inform restaurant we were still waiting for key. That’s when he fell in the dark . So we had a nightmare of an anniversary evening

Die Anlage, Strand und Pool sehr schön.
Der Service ist etwas chaotisch. Beim Flughafentransfer wurden wir vergessen und mussten ein teures Taxi nehmen. Trotz Beschwerde haben wir die Kosten nicht zurück bekommen, stattdessen nur ein Obstteller. Am zweiten Tag dann wurde das Zimmer vergessen reinigen. Das Housekeeping hätte sauberer sein können. Handtücher wurden auch vergessen und wir mussten 3x nachfragen.

The ambience. It was very calm and peaceful. The breakfast was really good
The staff- Very rude and cold people. They charged a high price for the cabs booked from the hotel. They promised free shuttle from the airport but since the shuttle was full, they refused to pick us up. The buggy drivers come late to pick us up from the room but when they come we have to run to the buggy from our room. They won’t wait for 30 s too.

Het zwembad was prima. Ontbijt redelijk.
Het bad werkte niet naar behoren, er was onvoldoende warm water om het bad te vullen, ook liep het vanzelf weer leeg. Er zat schimmel in de badkamer, de toilet bleef zichzelf maar bij vullen waardoor je heel de dag/nacht geluid hoorde van stromend water. Het personeel was niet echt heel vriendelijk ofzo. Voor Vietnamese begrippen was het een behoorlijk dure kamer en het was het absoluut niet waard!

Зеленая зона, тишина, большая территория можно походить , просторная вилла
Дикий пляж, из за бухты и множества кораблей весь мусор у берега, нет сети, нет буйков, нет смотрителя если что случиться, неудобный спуск, каждый раз боишься ноги подвернуть и грязно, и слив воды с отеля и домиков идет недалеко от места где купаются ,алкоголь и еда выходят с большой накруткой, так как Включен только завтрак, не слишком большой выбор блюд , а вот завтрак отличный, есть из чего выбрать , персонал вежливый, а вот спорт зал катастрофа , пыльный маленький, треножоров фактически нет

The resort building facade looks tired and needed maintenance on the outside walls renders and metal framing were rusty. The pool mosaic tiling needs replacement and on the pool base lots of them were missing and sharp as you are walking in the water which is dangerous, could get cuts.

Unfortunately, our experience at The Shells Resort was extremely disappointing. Although the resort is advertised as a 5-star property, the reality was very different. The room we were given on arrival was in poor condition — dirty, with significant mould and visible stains throughout. We were offered an alternative room, but it was in even worse condition.
Because of this, we were unable to stay and had to book another hotel the same day.
I would like to highlight that the staff were friendly, polite, and genuinely tried their best to assist us. However, the issues we encountered are far beyond what staff alone can resolve.

Good location near the city, approx. 10 min drive to the night market, located in a mature garden, private beach. Unfortunately the hotel rating does not meet international standards. The hotel is not intensively maintained and the influence of time is visible everywhere, the cleanliness of the hotel is at the level of Vietnamese standards, but does not meet the expectations of foreign clientele. In 11/2025 the beach was closed for swimming because the sea was toxic. The hotel did not warn about this fact at all, I would definitely choose another location.

The TV options in the room were a joke with movies from 2010. The restaurant was deserted except for the cats that seemed to live there. It was disgusting to see three-four cats actually on the tables walking on the cutlery. The whole resort is dirty and needs a good scrub especially the chairs in reception and the breakfast area. No pride taken in the resort and no management anywhere to be seen.

• Der Wechsel in die Gartenvilla war sehr nett organisiert, obwohl der Preisunterschied zu einem normalen Zimmer nicht besonders groß war.

Was only suppose to stay 2 night but ended up loving it so much I had to stay another! It was no problem to add an extra night. My room was super spacious and clean even had a balcony. Super easy to walk down to the beach and pool

Needed updating. Cushion covers for sun beds old, towel very old. Sun beds tatty. Beach very small not like advertised. Just needs a bit of loving care. Tinsel still up from goodness knows how many years ago on the entrance to pool area. Rubbish around the rooms.

Where do I start... the resort made me take a taxi even though they advertised free airport pick up and I requested. Bad communication. Some staff are not friendly and very argumentative or didn't want to assist. I had to ask for the black mould in the shower to be removed. The grass was not mowed. Very old and run down. It is, at best, a 3 to 4 star, not 5. It was overpriced.

Just checked out after an amazing stay at The Shels and couldn’t be more impressed. The resort is surrounded by stunning natural beauty—peaceful beach, towering limestone cliffs, and lush greenery everywhere you look.
What really stood out was the hospitality—every staff at was incredibly kind, helpful, and made me feel genuinely welcomed.

We planned to stay there for 5days, the air-con was not functioning on the third day. Electricity and water sudden went off on the first day. Money was stolen by the hotel. The service and explanation were not good at all.

Ruhiges Hotel, Preis Leistung in Ordnung. Schöne Pool und große Anlage somit verteilt sich alles sehr gut. Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut. Tolle Vermietung für Roller möglich.

Advertised as a 5 star, but I'll put it down as a 3-star hotel. You pay so much for a very outdated, run-down building. Mould in the bathrooms. Location is far from civilisation. So isolating with few tourists. The pool was dirty. My bed was full of ants when we came back from our tours. So called private beach area isn't so private with so many fishing boats around making the water so dirty with rubbish. This place is not worth your money. So unhygienic with shampoo and bathing soap place on the floor.

Heerlijke bungalows vlak bij het strand. Als je niet van plan bent om iets van het eiland te zien zit je hier heerlijk. Het privestrand is schoon en de bedjes liggen heerlijk. Het resort is wel erg afgelegen en een taxi is nodig om iets van de bewoonde wereld mee te krijgen. Het park lijkt wel wat gedateerd verf op de gebouwen bladdert en kastdeurtjes sluiten niet helemaal. Het personeel is vriendelijk en het ontbijt uitgebreid.

I had a wonderful stay at this resort! The pool is incredibly spacious, perfect for a relaxing swim. The breakfast spread was absolutely delicious with a wide variety of options to choose from. I was especially impressed by the friendly and welcoming staff, particularly Thuận, who made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place

Je vais répéter ce que beaucoup de commentaires ont souligné : Globalement l'hotel est en plein délabrement - les draps sont sales, on constate des fissures un peu partout, le ménage est mal fait, les peignoirs fournis sont usés jusqu'à la corde et reches, les meubles sont branlants (et remplis de crasse en dessous). L'activité kayak est inexistante A la piscine, vous aurez le droit à une serviette également usée jusqu'à la corde et remplie de tâche - tout en profitant d'une musique électro en permanence. Le fameux pool bar n'existe pas. Le premier soir de mon arrivée, j'ai eu le droit d'avoir un rat dans ma chambre. J'ai demandé un geste commercial en compensation. Alors non seulement, l'hôte d'accueil qui parle parfaitement s'est mis à faire semblant qu'il ne savait plus parler anglais - et ensuite m'a dit "vous êtes dans la forêt, c'est normal". Oui, sauf qu'on est dans un soit-disant 5 étoiles. Bref aucun geste commercial n'a été fait. Sachant que la moindre prestation est pour l'île hors de prix : la location de scooter est six à huit fois plus chers que ce que vous trouverez sur l'ile. le service pressing est également hors de prix Le personnel n'est pas aimable - surtout à l'accueil Ce qui est drôle, c'est que ce sont les mêmes commentaires qui remontent depuis plus d'un an ou deux et à chaque fois l'hôtel dit qu'il va procéder à des changements, sauf rien n'est fait. 숲속에서의 생활이 굉장히 만족스러웠습니다. 주변환경도 너무 좋았고 방도 넓어서 사용하기가 좋았습니다. 샤워하는데 수압도 좋았고 조식도 좋았습니다 가성비로 따진다면 다음에 또 가고싶습니다

Ten hotel to prawdziwy skarb! Piękne otoczenie, wspaniały zachód słońca, biały piasek i wiele zieleni sprawiają, że jest to idealne miejsce na relaks i odpoczynek. Dodatkowo, personel jest bardzo przyjazny i profesjonalny.

Đây là 1 kì nghỉ tuyệt vời của tôi, khách sạn rất yên tỉnh,không khí mát mẻ trong lành,bãi biển sạch và trong Bữa sáng rất nhiều món ăn và đầy đủ chất dinh dưỡng. Havudsigten og poolen, og det søde personale fra håndklæde udleveringen.
Det var slidt og misligholdt. Ud over personalet ved håndklæde udleveringen og Kim i receptionen, fik vi ingen smil eller imødekommenhed fra personalet. Specielt personalet i morgenmadsrestauranten og poolbaren var meget lidt imødekommende. Ved morgenmaden var der alt for få medarbejder, der blev ikke dækket borde, og der blev ikke fyldt op med kopper og tallerkner i restauranten, der manglede en person med erfaring og overblik. Hvis ikke der bliver igangsat en istandsættelse falder hotellet sammen. Hotellet ligger meget langt ned af en øde vej, og der er langt til indkøbsmuligheder.

Das leider schon in die Jahre gekommene (obwohl angeblich erst 2014 eröffnet) und nur teilweise in Schuss gehaltene Resort hat eher 3 statt 5 Sterne - Preis/Leistung passt allerdings.
Architektur top.
Frühstück sehr gut.
Lage sehr gut, wenn man es etwas ruhiger und abgelegener mag - ein geliehener Scooter (welcher direkt zum Resort geliefert wird) ist unausweichlich.
Achtung: angebotener Airportshuttle nur zu Fixzeiten möglich (für Spätankömmlinge nicht verfügbar) & das Resort belastet die Kreditkarte schon bei Buchung, auch wenn angegeben ist, dass erst vor Ort zu zahlen ist!
Im Großen und Ganzen können wir das Hotel aber weiterempfehlen.

Понравились завтраки по утрам и возможность таскать еду с собой в номер. 😃 Понравилось отсутствие большого колличества народа, суеты. Приветливый персонал.
Сам отель расположен в середине острова с неразвитой инфраструктурой и вдали от главной дороги, поэтому нужно много топать или ездить на такси. Хотя ничего страшного, автобусы бесплатно ездят. Если только по цене за бунгало дороговато получается.

Päärakennuksessa olleesta huoneestamme oli valtavan hienot maisemat suoraan merelle. Todella rauhoittava kokemus. Huoneen oli kooltaan todella iso ja hyvin suunniteltu. Myös parveke oli suuri. Hotellin henkilökunta osasi asiansa ja saivat meidän tuntemaan tervetulleiksi.
Hotelllin arkkitehtuuri on upea, tosin ikä näkyy monissa kohdissa.
Hotellille majoittuvan tulee ottaa huomioon, että tämä on todella rauhallinen. Jos kaipaa enemmän toimintaa, kauppaa tai palveluita tulee mennä lähimpään kylään (Ocean Bay) tai Duong Dongin kaupunkiin. Kumpaankin on matkaa n. 5-10 min taksilla (100-200k VND).
Hotellilla on jo ikää ja monissa paikoissa tämä näkyy. Hieman makukysymys tykkääkö ajan patinoimasta vaaleasta kivestä. Kuntosali on heikosti varustettu, tilaa olisi paremmin varustetulle salille.

only better thing is the breakfast. But they don't fill the buffet on time. Mostly empty pots.
Reception stuff are answering our requests on purposely wrong. They took long time and tried to avoid to fulfill our request. Also receptions are bad at communication. Dirt and wastes everywhere, they don't even clean it regularly. I made complains about wastes and dirts many times. Swimming pool is like a grey water. I tried to take a picture inside the pool, but you can't see anything. We've reserved 2 rooms, almost 2 months ago, requested next to each other and they did set us into 2 far rooms and those room are not cleaned well.

My stay at the hotel was overall fine. I appreciated the quiet in the rooms, which made it easy to rest. The private beach nearby was a nice touch, and the staff were polite and helpful.

離市區較遠 周圍偏僻無法自行出門 一定要叫車 房間內電話無法使用 和櫃檯反應也沒用 在度假村中移動都有困難 要去大廳或是餐廳都無法叫工作人員載 只能自行走路

Mycket bra frukost. Lite avsides läge, men Grab fungerade fint. Tråkig meny på boendet lunch middag, man ledsnade fort. Ibland lite långsam service.

Pięknie położony obiekt, z ogromnym potencjałem. Niestety ktoś kto zarządza tym hotelem najwidoczniej nie wie jak to zrobić mając do dyspozycji tyle możliwości. Śniadania dobre ale mogły by być lepsze jak na taki obiekt. Serwowane dania w restauracji bardzo dobre. Kawa przepyszna ale zamawiana odpłatnie. Ta przy śniadaniu nie zawsze taka dobra.
Obiekt z ogromnymi możliwościami bycia hotelem na prawdę 5gwiadkowym. Niestety zaniedbana zieleń na całym terenie (tylko przy basenie zadbana) plaża brzydka z kamieniami a jest tam kawał terenu gdzie można by zrobić piękną plażę. Nikt o to nie dba, na tyłach hotelu stare meble i graty. Taras przy lobby nieczynny, zaniedbany, brak sklepiku a widać że był. Głośna muzyka technolodzy basenie jest tragiczna, musiałem prosić o ściszenie muzyki albo jej wyłączenie. To jest Ibiza Party! Stare ręczniki plażowe, mało leżaków a te które są, są wciśnięte na kupe w jednym miejscu gdzie tak na prawdę hotel ma ogromny teren. Serwis plażowy zły , obsługa nie pamięta o zamówieniach albo myli się bez przerwy. Czasem na zamówione danie czekasz 2 godziny a potem dowiadujesz się że zapomnieli. Tak jak napisałem hotel ma ogromny potencjał i mógłby być bardzo luksusowym hotelem ale niestety nikt nie potrafi nim zarządzać. The aesthetics were beautiful. The beachfront view and interior design was very luxurious
There was a leak over the shower, not sure from what but it seemed like from the top floor. Hopefully it wasn’t sewage water. Booking.com also made checking in difficult as we needed to make changes to the amount of nights and type of room to stay in. The staff tried their best but the check in/out process was long and not very smooth

Remote location which is good for a peaceful stay but you need a taxi to go into town for eateries on an evening at cVND100-150k per one way.
The breakfast was a shambles everyday there was insufficient cups, glasses and bread. The eggs queue was always long and often no freshly baked bread and the toaster barely warmed the bread . Everyday we had to call for bath towels as none left and the bar/pool bar service was non existent. The hotel is also falling into disrepair and needs a lot of TLC before the place becomes unsalvageable.

Die Zimmer und die ganze Anlage sind sehr grosszügig und sehr gepflegt angelegt. Die Zimmer mit Blick auf das Meer bieten eine gute Privacy. Es ist ruhig, wenn auch die Poolbar nachmittags mit dem Dance-Sound etwas zu laut war und an der Situation vorbei. Die Polar war nicht bedient. Das Christmas Gala Dinner war sehr ! lecker !!!
Das Frühstück war durchschnittlich und geschmacklich nicht raffiniert. Die Suppen waren lecker, Eierstation auch - gerne mehr authentische Küche statt internationalen Durchschnitt. Es gab tagsüber und abends nur das Snack-Restaurant, d.h. es fehlte eine gute authentische Küche vor Ort - dafür musste man den Ressort verlassen. Die Organisation an der Rezeption war etwas chaotisch - keine Hilfe mit dem Gepäck und bei der Abreise war die Rezeptionistin alleine mit all den Aus-chenkenden überfordert. Personalmanagement könnte besser sein.

I liked the sea view from room. The bed was comfortable.
The women who organised the taxi at reception was always friendly and fast!
Every single day having to ask for towels in the room as housekeeping take them after cleaning even though are hung up. The lack of communication and English ability. Was very difficult to order room service with orders being incorrect or having to wait for more than an hour for an ice bucket and glasses. Tried to have laundry done multiple times informing reception with it never being collected. The food in general is not 5 star worthy! Breakfast alone was depressing and very little options for vegetarian. Dirty glasses left in the room for days without being removed, just left next to the sink. Food left outside the front door for hours before being cleared. Bed was made untidily. I could have done a better job myself. Service by the pool was slow and often not receiving what we asked for. Canoe needs to be replaced. We tried to use it and it filled up with water immediately.

숙소의 뷰가 멋있었고 프라이빗 해변이 가까이 있어 좋았습니다.
그리고 직원들의 친절도가 좋았고 버키카를 이용함에 있어도 불편함이 없었습니다.
숙소의 노후화 (변기 물이 안내려감) 및 숲이 근처에 있어서 그런지 숙소내에 도마뱀이 있었습니다. 조식의 종류도 다양하지 않았습니다. 숙소의 노후화를 개선하면 좋을것 같습니다.

The villa size is good also the view is amazing! Our villa is very close to the beach and restaurant! It has few swimming pools they all very clean. The beach has good view for sun set! Some of the staff are super friendly! They even remember my room number to drop us to our room. The reception staff is friendly always greeting to us! The food in the restaurant is good selections! Fresh made.
The last night of our stay, our room no power! I have to walk to the reception to inform to staff! There was one staff came to fix it! He just opened the electricity box on the wall then he left! We thought he went to collect some equipments. We were waiting in the dark room for one hour still not being fixed. I have to go to the reception again! The reception staff said the staff went to our room early try to fix it however he thought no one in the room he cannot fix it! I really cannot understand the logic. This staff came to our room he even not knock the door. How he suppose to know if we are inside or not! This excuse we cannot accept it! I think they need to improve the service! Need to have their staffs trained! Also our last day, before we checked out we ordered buggy car to help us transfer our luggages to the reception. This staff asked for tips! I never experience this previous, I think the tip is what we are willing to give should not been asked for! It only happens one time, however I feel not comfortable!

הנהג טוקטוק שהביא לנו את המזוודות לחדרים נכנס ממש לחדר וביקש טיפ. זה השרה קצת אי נוחות. החדר לא היה נקי. ביוב סתום במקלחת שגרר ריח רע בחדר.

Bungalows would have been nice had they been maintained and cleaned.
Pool smelled and made our skin stick afterwards. Sea shore is very small and not well maintained. Food was not only bad but also probably rotten - my partner got food poisoning on the first day (we even washed our teeth with bottled water so that's not it). They insist on taking you with a buggy within the resort and then the drivers literally ask for tips (longest walk is 3 mins from reception to shore). On the first day we didnt have cash and didnt expect the hotel worker to ask for a tip immediately upon arrival. We told him we would give him one the next day but until we did, he stopped every time he saw us and shouted our room number at us -I am guessing- as a reminder. We got no towels, the garden of the bungalow was full of trash (half eaten pastries, ciggarettes, plastic bottles). The bungalow itself must have been great once but it was dirty and smelled musty. None of the pool bars are working (peak season at Xmas when they had full house). This wouldnt be a problem because you can order drinks from the restaurant but it takes 40-60 mins for them to arrive. They are incredibly understaffed.

Well built resort. Spacious rooms. Private beach and large pool. Very nice staff. Kitchen was nice enough to recook our takeaway noodles and let us eat in the restaurant.
Built to be a five star resort a decade ago but needs a bit of a refurb in some areas. Small things: our room didn’t have a tv remote, phone intermittently didn’t work, only one bath towel provided. Room service food (pizza) was average. Very few people used the spa/massage/restaurant due to high prices

Given the fact that the hotel is rated as a 5-star, our expectations were way above what we've experienced, we cannot highlight anything positive.
The hotel, the bungalow and the furniture were dirty and not maintained. We had to ask for towels multiple times as they were gathered and new ones weren't provided. In the restaurant not even the waiters speak English, so it was impossible to customise our order as vegetarians. The list goes on, and on, and on. We left the hotel 2 days early, and they did not even ask the reason, they clearly did not care.

Хороший отель, с большой зеленой территорией. Мы жили в бунгало, т. к. виллой это не назвать. Бунгало просторное, кровати удобные. Пляж, бассейн все отлично. Хороший завтрак. Но! Отель расположен в удалении. Рядом нет ни ресторанов, ни магазинов, ни аптек. Чтобы до них добраться, нужно заказыаать такси, потому что пешком идти 2 км по глухой дороге с бамбуками. Я ни разу не рискнула. Ресторан при отеле с высокими ценами и не вкусными блюдами. Суп Фо стоит 900р. Заказали пиццу Маргарита- такой гадости я ещё не пробовала. В общем расположение такое себе. И еще напор воды в бунгало! 10 секунд норм, а потом совсем тонкой струйком секунд 30-40. Но мы приловчились.

Die Pools und das Gym haben uns am besten gefallen. Unsere Poolvilla war direkt am strand, jedoch sehr weit von der Reception. Man konnte zu jeder Zeit mit einem Golfcar abgeholt werden und zur Rezeption gebracht werden.

The view is ok but not worth for the money and time
This hotel is the worst of all hotels we ever stayed in Viet Nam. Everything was out date, broken and dirty, we took the pictures of the sinks and showed them to the front desk, and someone came and clean, but we still could not bush our teeth. We could not wash our feet on the beach because the faucet was broken.

Тишина вокруг, не смотря на большое количество людей.
Очень красивая и очень зеленая территория.
Начнем с того, что отель очень сильно "уставший", прямо очень и очень. Кто решил, что там 5 звезд - не понимаю. Номера - сильно ушатаны, грязненько, убитая мебель, полны разных жителей (ползают муравьи, всякие жучки, комары и т.д.). Завтраки - ни о чем (вроде бы и есть что-то, а есть нечего(). Уборка в номере - в первый день забрали (почему-то) халаты, во второй - маленькие и средние полотенца. Был свидетелем того, как при замене больших полотенец их бросили на пол возле входа, а потом переместили к душевой, как чистые. Имел неосторожность попросить утюг... сказали, что единственный вариант - воспользоваться сервисом и другого не дано. За день до выезда из мини-бара пропала банка пива, которую я, сто процентов, не трогал... оплатил при выселении. Будете селиться в этот отель - не забывайте об этой истории. Пляж (точнее, что от него осталось) - старые лежаки и полотенца, остальное - на фото. Резюме - делать в этом отеле нечего.

Wir hatten eine Villa gebucht und das war sensationell! Mega schön und sauber. Man wird mit dem Golf-Cart herum kutschiert und man findet alles was man braucht. Die Anlage ist echt schön, ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber und es fehlt einem an nichts. Man wird am Pool bedient und es stehen Liegen/Handtücher zur Verfügung. Der Strand ist super sauber und lädt zum Chillen ein. Der Sonnenuntergang war jeden Tag ein Highlight. Man kann auch gratis Kajak fahren. Es gibt Complementary Days (z. B. Gratis Eis und Ermäßigungen auf Massagen) Die Massage war wirklich gut, einer der Besten in ganz Vietnam. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist der Wahnsinn, alles was das Herz begehrt ist dabei.
Wir haben einmal im Restaurant zu Abend gegessen. Die Fischplatte war wirklich sehr gut, aber logischer Weise auch hochpreisiger als ausserhalb.
Ist dann doch ein bisschen weg vom Schuss, die netten Restaurants liegen ca. 4 km entfernt.

Wir waren im Bungalow untergebracht. Dieser war geräumig mit einem großen Bett, Dusche, Wanne und 2 Waschgelegenheiten. Das Essen im Restaurant war abwechslungsreich, bis auf die Wurst, da gab es immer die gleiche.
Die Einrichtung könnte mal wieder saniert werden. Die Toiletten hatten wenig Wasserdruck und man musste wiederholt spülen. Die Anlage ist ordentlich und weitläufig, aber es fehlt eine Möglichkeit kleine Dinge zu kaufen. Getränke gibt es nur im Restaurant und eine Einkaufsmöglichkeit ist nur mit dem Taxi oder langen Fußwegen zu erreichen. Der Strand ist schmal und man kann auch keine Strandspaziergänge unternehmen, da an der Seite große Steine liegen.

Die Lage, das Zimmer und das Frühstück mit direkten Blick übers Meer sind richtig gut.
Die Pools sind sauber und sehr gepflegt.
Die ruhige Lage und das große Zimmer bieten einen hohen Erholungswert.
Auch wenn man mit etwas Einschränkungen die Sache betrachtet.
Das Personal ist sehr freundlich aber scheinbar an verschiedene Stellen überfordert.
Abholung am Flughafen geht, aber Abholung am Hafen geht nicht. Der Strand ist leider so gut wie nicht mehr vorhanden. Nur noch ein kleiner Teil des Sandstandes ist vorhanden. Der Rest ist unrepariert wegegespült und auch die Uferbesfestigungen sind unterspült und teilwese weggerissen. Die Anlage ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, Leider war es dem Zimmerservice nicht möglich täglich für Ersatz der zur Wäsche eingezogenen Handtücher und Bademäntel zu sorgen. An 90% der Tage musste deswegen hinterher telefoniert werden und man konnte sich glücklich schätzen von den Gesichtshandtücjhern, Handtücjhern, Badehandtüchern und Bademäntel wenigstens einen Satz Badehandtücher zu erhalten.

- AC working very well taking into consideration that the room was very big, it was always chill/ cold inside

- you can do snorkeling in the water, right from the beach and see many fish, crabs and other
- it is quite far from the center so you always need to take Grab (ride to night market was about 3€/way) - it was very crowded on the weekend breakfast. It was crowded to the point there were none plates, cutlery nor food 1 hour prior to end of breakfast buffet.

Resort położony w kompletnej ciszy, otoczony dżunglą z niesamowitym dojazdem poprzez las bambusowy. Stan domków idealny. Wszystko jak w opisie i na zdjęciach. Duże pokoje, wygodne łóżka, do tego wanna i prysznic. Codziennie nowe szczoteczki do zębów.
W hotelu było wszystko co chcieliśmy. Restauracja, plaża, baseny i dużo zieleni.
Śniadanie bardzo dobre i duży wybór.
Mały zgrzyt ze sprzątaniem, bo jak na weekend przyjechało dużo gości to nie zdążyli nam posprzątać w pokoju i musieliśmy zamówić wywożenie śmieci i wymianę ręczników. Ale nie było z tym żadnego problemu.

The view over the ocean was nice.
This property is run down with stained sinks, floorings and the furnishings had stains etc as shown in the photos I’ve added. The beach area wasn’t kept cleaned with rubbish everywhere (we stayed for 5 days giving them plenty of time to clean up). Staff in reception area spoke English but the rest of the staff didn’t which made it difficult to order in the restaurant etc. We loved Vietnam but not this hotel. It was the worst one out off all our stays. 😔

Our stay at the hotel was fantastic! We truly enjoyed it and felt well pampered throughout. The breakfast was wonderful, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the pools were delightful. Our room was excellent, and the service was exceptional – definitely a highlight of the trip. Special thanks to the reception team and especially Yên, Vĩnh, and Hồng, who made our stay even better. The massages were relaxing, and the cocktails were also quite good.
One small (!) area for improvement: the shower pressure in our room could have been stronger, more like the shower in the massage area. While the main part of the hotel’s private beach was clean, there was a fair amount of litter in the water itself – a common issue in Phú Quốc, unfortunately. Additionally, the eastern side of the beach (likely outside hotel maintenance) was quite dirty, with trash and other litter scattered about. This litter could easily end up in the sea, which is concerning…. Again, common problem in Phú Quốc due to over-tourism, I’m afraid.
One small (!) area for improvement: the shower pressure in our room could have been stronger, more like the shower in the massage area. Die Gartenvilla ist sehr groß, gut ausgestattet und mit dem Garten sehr bequem auch wenn es einmal Regnet. Der Pool ist sauber und groß. Die Anlage ist sauber. Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Die Anlage liegt in einem ruhigen Bereich daher braucht man ein Taxi wenn man nicht in der Anlage essen will. Es stehen aber Taxis bei der Rezeption bereit. Das Essen im Restaurant und auch der Zimmerservice sind eher teuer.

Quite location and private if thats what you are looking for. Rooms i booked large and alot of space. Breakfast alot of options. Pool is great and beautiful sunsets.
The property needs alot of maintenance and repair, dont think 4 star is suited. One section under our room near the spa was taped off, Column looked damaged and cracked and ceiling above that section fully collapsed. This was right underneath our room. Air conditioner for room was buzzing all night, which was extremely loud, we had corner room 622. Restaurant in hotel food isn't the best. Housekeeping kept taking our towels and not replacing. so we need to call. Beach out front too much rubbish on shore to left and right side. Right in front staff clean but they should clean all the private beach. No service around the pool and the pool bar is non working. Our room outside on balcony all lounge and sofa dirty and stained. once again alot of maintenance and repair required at this property. Always needed transport nothing close by walking. they have small gym opens too after 10am. Ensure you have google translate as alot of staff had limited English understanding, which is all ok just be prepared.

Very successful stay. Friendly staff, delicious breakfasts and a private beach made us pleasant to remember this time. Regarding the opinions of other guests about cleanliness and defects, we did indeed notice that the rooms should be renovated. It was clean, but for example, stains on the upholstery of the sofas, discoloration of stone countertops and washbasins give the impression of dirt. But I emphasize that this is just an impression. Towels and bathrobes are changed daily. The stay was comfortable, we lacked nothing. It's quite far from the city, but the night market grab cost only about 100,000 vnd.

Prima locatie. wel een beetje vergane glorie voor de prijs die ze vragen. Het duurste wat we deze reis boekten met hoge verwachting. Maar het park ligt er verlaten bij en de kamer werd laat schoongemaakt (avond 21:00 ) en Welness bijzonder overprised, 800 dong per persoon en werd aangeboden nu voor 600 dong voor 2 personen!. Het geeft wel aan dat het niet zo goed loopt. Flesje water 350ml kost maar liefst 50 dong. (E2.50). Scooters kun je huren die zijn oud maar voldoen. Personeel is vriendelijk en doet zijn best.
Schoonmaak. Lange zwarte haren op de grond gevonden. Late schoonmaak. Water aanbieden als service. Kopjes op order brengen, 3 persoons kamer met 2 kopjes om thee te zetten is niet handig.

The rooms were comfy. Staff is super friendly. We also took a tour to public beach, Sunset town. Very good deal and cheaper than if you arranged it yourself

We were moved into 2 smaller rooms, but we had booked a family suite to be together. They told us our room was overbooked. Rooms stayed empty for our whole stay. And stayed available to book on Booking.com. Until there was an issue with our room, and we moaned, so they put us in the family suite we booked for night!! Definitely not a 5 star. Very ran down,

海景房的窗戶一打開就是漂亮的大海跟游泳池，飯店員工親切有禮，離夜市也很近，房間很大。

We booked a villa with pool view and the room was big, spacious, and well designed. It was comfortable and very clean. I had read some reviews about the resort being a bit run down and was worried, but it was totally worth it. One pool was not operational but other than that the resort was very well maintained and the seaside pool was really great. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and would have loved to stay longer if time permitted.
The dining menu was limited, a few more options would have been great, especially since the resort is a bit out of the way.

Nice pool area by the beach.
Standard, cleanliness and location. The hotel is quite remote. The hotel is older than appears in the pictures and is showing serious signs of wear and tear and lack of maintenance. Cleanliness and service in restaurant leave a lot to be desired. This is definitely not 5 star quality.

Well where do I start , I loved this place and all the staff, the buffet breakfast was fantastic, the restaurant was great as well, I have read all the negative reviews, and yes I agree with some of them, ok it’s not a 5 star hotel/resort anymore, in its day and probably before COVID it was a lot better, as we all know COVID knocked everyone around, a lot of businesses here in a Australia never came back from the loss of income, I think in time this place will recover as well, I seen the 2nd pool as well at this place, closed off for renovations, who cares the main pool near the restaurant and the beach is fantastic, and has a swim up bar, great to watch the sunset as well, yes it’s a little bit out of town, but it’s beautiful and quiet there and that’s the difference,but it’s cheap in a grab or taxi to get to town, the front desk can organise it easy for you , this place is massive, I stayed in a fantastic room overlooking the restaurant/pool/bar and facing the ocean with a balcony, it was great to sit up there and relax while having a beer, so to sum things up, yes I loved this place and I would definitely recommend it, and with more tourists coming back now after COVID, hopefully it can return to a 5 star Resort again, thanks again to all the great staff there who made our trip there amazing 👍👍👍

We loved absolutely everything about this place except one thing which is stated below.
Rooms were amazing and comfortable, I’m unsure why people complain about this place. We’ve been to many hotels and this was definitely up there!!
Customer service was awesome and fast.
Cot was available for our baby.
Don’t order room service- we orders 3 x lunches, a pool service for drinks and late check out and had come to $300AUD bill, not good enough for price we had already paid.

This is an amazing property with SO much potential, but it needs a lot of love and help to improve it.
I booked the family sized ocean room with an incredible corner balcony facing the pool and the sea. We spent a lot of time on the balcony loungers and had food ordered to the room without leaving the suite for almost 24 hours.
The bath in the middle of the room was pretty cool, and waking up to the sound of the ocean was incredible.
The pool area was lovely, and the beach was very pretty and clean.
Hmm............ where to start? The food was so limited, not just for westerners, but even the Vietnamese food was limited. We checked out and found another hotel purely because the food was making us miserable. I tried a few things on the menu and it was all pretty awful. I am easy to please with food, so I feel for those who aren't! The room was a little tired and it could have been cleaner. This is s STUNNING property, and I feel like it needs new management to bring out its full potential. The water for the bath was not warm enough. so it wasn't quite the experience I had hoped. The toilet was blocked twice... lucky my husband was able to fix it. The location was so isolated, and there wasn't much nearby. Which is why I was amazed at how poor the food was. If I had been stuck in the resort for a week, I would have been fuming. One night's stay was enough for us to enjoy the good parts and then leave!

Loved the villa we stayed in, it was very spacious and had a nice layout! The beds were comfortable and the pool was amazing! Special shoutout to Tran Thanh Dien who was super kind and professional and who gave his best to make our stay as much enjoyable as possible, many thanks!!
Lots of trash at the beach, we did some clean up ourselves and expected the staff to do so multiple times a day but they only did it for a certain part of the beach at the end of the day, so not the whole beach unfortunately. To see the beach so dirty was frustrating and sad. Would like the staff to be more trained in this regard. Also once the staff took our used towels and forgot to replace them so we had to call and request for new ones.

我是1月29日至2月2日入住度假村的，酒店服务和环境都很好，但在我2月末回国后信用卡被酒店盗刷两次，一次3.2日，一次3.20日。每次3400000越南盾，其中一次记账成功，资金现在为止还未追回

In den Kästen waren offene elektrische Leitungen, Schmutz und Wasserschäden. Ein Kühlschrank wurde uns erst am Abend vor der Abreise vor die Türe gestellt. Sämtlich Schilder wie „do Not disturb“ und „please, Make the room“ wurden ignoriert. Das Personal weckte uns um 07:00 morgens um die Wäsche zu holen, und brachte diese dann um 22:00 abends zurück. Dies sind definitiv Zeiten wo man die Privatsphäre der Gäste respektieren könnte. Gutes Personal ist in meinen Augen „unsichtbar“ was hier definitiv nicht berücksichtigt wurde. Wir haben uns zwei mal einen Roller beim Hotel ausgeliehen um die Insel zu erkunden. Beide Male ging dies nicht sonderlich glatt. Die Roller sind sehr in die Jahre gekommen und die Verkehrssicherheit ist mehr als fragwürdig. Platte reifen. Funktionslose Bremsen, starker Rost, defekte Rad und lenkkopflager….nur um hier ein paar Punkte zu nennen. Mit 84.000km könnte ein 5-Sterne Hotel definitiv mal reinvestieren.

Værelset var så rent og lækkert. Kæmpe cadeau til rengøringspersonalet. Sengen var helt fantastisk og omgivelserne lige så. Fantastisk at vågne op til. Morgenmaden havde meget variation, ikke gourmet, men rigtig fin. Poolområdet var fantastisk, helt ned til stranden og man får håndklæder ved poolen.
Servicen var virkelig god hele vejen rundt! Personalet var virkelig hjælpsomme og venlige. Jeg vil helt klart anbefale Shells for en afslappende ferie.
Som andre nævner, kunne der måske trænge til en malerklat hist og her, en rensning af tag fx ville gøre udtrykket endnu flottere. Kunne også godt opgradere de scootere man kan leje, da de er rimelig slidte. Men ellers har alt været helt perfekt.

Виллой номер не назвать, обычное бунгало, как и все оставшиеся 99+ «вилл»
Из плюсов брали премиум виллу, у нее была своя территория красивая зеленая и относительно удаленная от соседних вилл.
Минусы: Самый убогий завтрак для отеля 5* что я встречал в своей жизни! Да есть что по есть и я не люблю набирать все и вся, но тут реально выбор очень скуден. Пляжа можно сказать нет, да его реально нет. Так же в пешей доступности нет ничего от слова совсем! Что бы вам не понадобилось только на такси! Ну и самый на мой взгляд большой минус! Нам дали самую стремную «виллу» в которой не было даже минибара!! И это 5* 🤦♂️ Когда я позвонил на ресепшен и спросил а где мини бар ? Нам через час привезли пустой холодильник! Без ничего!! Ни воды ни напитков н алкоголя!! Итог: Если вы хотите пожить удалено, без нормального сервиса типа в 5* вам подойдет. Если вы знаете что такое 5* и сервис который там должен быть это не ваш вариант

Nice view; breathtaking sunsets
the spa: the prices are higher than outside, but rest acceptable + facilities/staff is on the very good level.
On our arrival: no minibar at the room (fixed by hotel quickly), the side table is broken (didn’t fix during our stay); 50 sqm room- the wardrobe place is very limited The breakfast is quite ok, but the restaurant’s ratio price / quality is not at the top

View from our room and the pool were fantastic, staff all round were professional apart from 1 waiter requiring food handling hygiene training.
Staff and server’s was professional for 99%. Which was one of our highlights of our stay, the views looking out to the ocean were superb! It will be interesting to see the resort at a fuller capacity with only one pool available. For its age the resort should be rated at 3 Stars. Our smoke detectors in our room didn’t seem to be working. No carbon monoxide detectors in rooms. No wheel chair access. Stairs are an issue getting to the restaurant with my bad hip. Floors and bath tubs could use a good polish to remove stains. No bed side tables. Power points well worn chargers wouldn’t stay plugged in. No USB charging ports. Television reception is terrible no Netflix or internet connection. Wi-Fi has no password, I’m sure internet hackers would have a ball downloading all of your personal information. The bottles of water supplied must be the smallest you can buy. I experienced a waiter coughing over the breakfast buffet which totally turned us off our breakfast. The resort is only 10 years old built in 2014, it’s lacking some major maintenance. I’m assuming it was left to run down dilapidated over Covid and probably will never recover. Compared to old photos half the beach is filled in with rocks now with a collapsed retaining wall. Beach seems to have a lot of pollution floating around. Food and drinks prices are extremely over priced. To Chairman of the Board of Directors Mr. Tran Minh Chi of Tran Thai Group, I would highly recommend sending senior management staff out to The Shells Resort & Spa urgently to see first hand what maintenance is required.

Excellent room; gorgeous private beach and pool area; nice spa; great breakfast; staff were nice; just super comfortable and easy to get in and out of the town.
The cleaning staff weren't totally consistent when replacing towels and would sometimes forget; we couldn't get any extra water, and you only got two small bottles once a day. The gym is not well equipped, and some machinery is broken.

It locates nearby the beach and it took 5 minutes to the city by motorbike. My trip was adorable and I would love to say thanks to the staff here who helped me to arrange the tour as well. They picked up and dropped off free from the airport to resort. I highly recommended you this place.

The concept of resort with bungalows. A part of The problems can be resolved with a call to reception. Breakfast was good.
When we arrived we notice that the room was not clean,the garbage bin was full from the other quest that stayed before us also the used soap and everything was not cleaned exept our bed . The receptionist s was verry unprofessional , she almost put us to pay one glass because she didn’t check the room correctly also didn’t check our details from the cisa card and the driver stopped us in front of the airport to give him pictures with the back of pur credit card . We needed to call late in the night to ask for towels , soap …we put aside the fact that our room was not clean because we where so tired.

Die Zimmer sind schön, aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen und ein bisschen unpraktisch ausgestattet, zB fehlt ein Schrank oder ein paar Haken an der riesigen leeren Wand, um zB Handtücher aufzuhängen. Aber trotzdem insgesamt super schön, würde wieder hin!

När vi kom dit så fungerade inte vår safety box, badkar höll ej kvar vattnet, kylskåpet fungerade ej. Meddelade detta vid ankomst. 1,5dygn senare fick vi prata med dem igen och då reparerade dem dessa saker. Det bodde en fladdermus ovanför taket som väckte oss varje natt. Det låg även fladdermusbajs i rummet som låg där alla våra 5nätter utan att bli bortstädat. Efter städning så tog dem våra handdukar utan att lägga dit nya, som vi märkte efter att vi hade duschat. Hyrde moped av dem vid flertalet tillfällen och de fungerade ej bra så som defekta bromsar, batterie som inte fungerar, motorlampa som lyser, backspegel som snurrar runt och defekta hastighetsmätare

We booked this hotel with the intention of simply relaxing at the beach and resting for two days. It served its purpose, but we had hoped for a bit more. The premises have significant potential, and I can imagine that it might have been a perfect place a few years ago, but nowadays, it could benefit from a bit more care and renovation. On the contrary, the beach and swimming pool were enjoyable. We appreciated the privacy of the villa and the airport shuttle bus. To travel to the city, it is necessary to either use Grab or rent a motorbike. We ordered a half board and were surprised to find that there wasn't a buffet for dinner, but instead, meals were served. While it's evident that the chef is putting in effort, and some dishes were great, a buffet option might be more preferred. We had the possibility to dine outside near the swimming pool and the atmosphere was romantic.
One swimming pool was out of service, probably for an extended period. We would appreciate different opening hours for the gym; 11 am is a bit late for morning exercise, and the equipment was rather limited. There wasn't enough employees at breakfast, so when we got there at 9, essentials like yogurt and fruit were missing, requiring us to request a refill. Our shower had very low water pressure, the toilet was running (noisy) and the TV did not work. The hotel did not provide enough drinking water.

Where do I begin....? Maybe 10 or 15 years ago, this resort might have been five stars, but today, it's only 2 - 3 stars at best. The facilities are completely worn down, rust on all exposed steel surfaces outside, cracks on the walls and floors inside the room and outside, trash on the beach and in the water.... We arrived on a Friday and were there through Tuesday. Management decided the whole weekend was the perfect time to do pool maintenance at the main pool. Why not perform the maintenance on a weekday, when it's not so busy? Refrigerator in the room didn't work, they replaced with another one that didn't work. The resort is definitely not worth their price of admission.... Note to management: Unless you're offering a partial refund, don't bother responding to my review with your typical canned response saying you're sorry, we'll look into these matters....

The bathroom is mouldy and you can see scum all around the walls. The bath tub is mouldy and rusted. Underneath the mattress was filthy. Everything is stained. The restaurant is run down and dirty, the pool bar is rundown. The resort needs a lot of attention. The staff try their best and are very lovely, we didn’t want to complain to them during our stay as the lack of maintenance isn’t their fault. Everything is a mess at this resort and it affected our stay. This cannot be advertised as 5 star, it’s far from it. During our stay we contacted booking.com to notify them about the above and they advised that they contacted the accomodation and that someone would talk to us - no one spoke to us about anything. We checked out and our issues are still unresolved and no one from the resort has responded to the query.

渡假村的氛圍很好，Villa房間空間很大，採光明亮很舒適。

Likte oss godt her, store villaer med en liten privat terrasse. Stille og rolig, behagelig atmosfære. Lite som skjer her og rundt, så anbefaler å leie scooter. Grei frokost.
Vaskingen av rommet kunne blitt gjort bedre. Ved ankomst manglet vi en del håndkle, underveis så vi at vaskingen ble gjort raskt og halvveis. Telefonen fungerte ikke.

Villaerne var skønne med masser af plads. Kæmpe badeværelse med alle faciliteter.
Rengøring var rigtig dårlig. Manglede håndklæder flere gange. Måtte rykke for at få leveret. Service i morgenmads restaurant var dårlig. Der manglede konstant glas og der blev ikke fyldt op med mad. Hotellet var ikke vedligeholdt og gangstier var meget hullet og ujævne. Stor fællespool mellem villaerne var lukket og havde ikke været åbnet i mange år. Beautiful, spacious bungalows surrounded by a beautiful landscape, a very green space, excellent breakfast, nice beach and pool area
Housekeeping had difficulties keeping up with their daily tasks. We had to call them several times during the day to make sure they'd come to clean the room. Overall the hotel seemed a bit understaffed. But the Shells is an amazing spot on the island and definitely worth a visit. We loved it.

Jeg kunne rigtigt godt li personalet
Der var huller i duen, revnet glas. Stedet var meget slidt. Der var to gange vi ikke fik håndklæder og den ene gang fik vi slet ikke gjort rent. Der er ingen tvivl om stedet trænger til at få en kærlig hånd og renoveres. Den ene pool var lukket måske den var dyber end den der var åben. Den der var åben var der flere sten der var faldet af og huller i bunden. Vi havde kun koldt vand i vores lejlighed. Trods vi sagde det to gange blev det Aldrig fikset desværre. Vi fandt selv ud af problem da vi skulle tjekke ud. Det var varmtvandsbeholder der ikke var tændt.
Der var huller i duen, revnet glas. Stedet var meget slidt. Der var to gange vi ikke fik håndklæder og den ene gang fik vi slet ikke gjort rent. Der er ingen tvivl om stedet trænger til at få en kærlig hånd og renoveres. Den ene pool var lukket måske den var dyber end den der var åben. Den der var åben var der flere sten der var faldet af og huller i bunden. Vi havde kun koldt vand i vores lejlighed. Trods vi sagde det to gange blev det Aldrig fikset desværre. Vi fandt selv ud af problem da vi skulle tjekke ud. Det var varmtvandsbeholder der ikke var tændt.

I stayed in a Bungalow and it was very spacious and comfortable. It was easy walking distance to beach area and restaurant. Staff were extremely helpful and nothing was a problem. Would stay here again.
Cocktails need a little work and not sure if much alcohol put in. Beach water not very clear when swimming.

Lep je smestaj, kompleks, dorucak je odlican.. Cisto je.
Smetalo mi je sto svaki put kada ciste sobu, menjaju i svaki dan peskire, bade mantile, posteljinu (nije bilo potrebe za tim) Dovoljno je jednom nedeljno promeniti sve to, a svaki dan osnovno- dopuna kafe/vode/smeće i toalet.. Malo je udaljenije od desavanja/prodavnica itd..

Breakfast was excellent. The Resort had own private beach and swim pool was lovely. The apartment was very clean
Laundry service was very good and overall dinner was good
The location was not near shopping area so had to get taxis everywhere. We were checked in two hours later because our rooms were not ready. Offered foot spa to compensate and late check out Some of the loungers and furniture were a bit tired, could do with updating

Veldig hyggelig personale, imøtekommende å flinke.
Fin Strand og basseng område. Veldig rolig sted.
Dette hotellet trenger en oppgradering, er veldig slitt, liten resturant med OK mat. Vaskerne gjør akkurat det de må, man ser at de vasker midt på gulvet å er mye skit i hjørner, håndtak, dører ect. Tok dette opp med manager og han tok det godt imot og merket endringer etter vi snakket med han. Vil ikke si dette oppfyller et fem stjernes hotell.

Free transportation to the airport
We were quite disappointed with our stay as the hotel did not meet the hype and was not worth the money. Breakfast was average with limited selections. The beach was near to the hotel and accessible, however, there is a lot of seaweed in the beach which is a big no no for us. We also experienced the power cut twice during our trip which was a shame that the hotel would not have sufficient power to support the demand. The room was okay, TV could be a bit bigger.

The view and location is very great, the rooms closer to the beach are the best in my opinion. Nice pool and private beach, attentive staff.There was a good breakfast buffet. Spa was alright! At the pool and beach the staff was excellent! The pictures make the property look more modern than it actually is, but it’s still very well done and beautiful.
The restaurant could have had a bit more of an atmosphere ( food is good tho) , the gym is a little outdated. But it’s still okay. The cleaners could be more attentive when cleaning the room. They left the floor sandy and moved things around, which was a bit irritating. We paid for Ballons for my birthday and they left them for 3 days in the room, for instance.

The pool and beach are the hero of this property
The resort is obviously tired and imagine Covid meant the upkeep on this property was let go. The pictures don’t match the rooms. For the price you pay, I would expect better (like pics)The water bottles provided are super small (350ml) which is frustrating when it’s not easy to get to a store to buy more. the tv is super old and very pixelated with awful sound and no Netflix, it was funny at the time but definitely not what you expect in a resort. The spa was below average, the staff were talking throughout our treatment to each other, only put background music on halfway through, lights on full, no privacy to get into robes. The treatment itself was alright but the rest was a big put off Staff in general were very friendly and kind, I give them 5* The pool though is great though and what we came for so still enjoyed our stay

Stille og rolig plass. Fint bassengområde. Bra frokost.

Lo staff è tutto gentilissimo, dalla reception al ristorante fino al bar. la struttura era stata realizzata per essere un 5 stelle lusso. Io ho soggiornato in una villetta con piscina privata in condivisione con la villetta accanto ed è stato davvero un lusso. La Spiaggia bellissima e tenuta pulita, il mare spettacolare. Piscina centrale molto bella. Ottima l'idea di noleggiare motorini ai clienti a prezzi modici... bravi!
Purtroppo la manutenzione della struttura è molto indietro e diverse aree come anche le camere presentano numerose pecche che sarebbe lungo elencare tutte (cosa non da struttura a 5 stelle). Qualche problema di comprensione dovuto alla non conoscenza della lingua inglese di gran parte dello staff... in un 5 stelle deve parlare perfettamente inglese tutto il personale. Le pulizie un po superficiali e la SPA bellissima ma troppo costosa. Al ristorante (ottimo cibo) ma suggerisco di variare il menù tutti i giorni e di non avere 6 menù permanentemente fissi. Il prezzo per le condizioni attuali del resort è troppo alto. Un consoglio... investite nella struttura e nei dettagli e questo resort diventerà incredibilmente bello!

The bedrooms were incredibly spacious and well appointed. We loved the balcony and the amount of space we had there. The pool was really nice and the beach was small but well cared for. On the whole the staff were really friendly and most of them customer focused.
Given the location there was a dire lack of facilities, e.g. no small shop or any other options for food or to get a drink. It’s in the middle of nowhere and there is NO bar once the pool bar closes around 6pm and the only restaurant is the one with the exact same menu as lunchtime. It’s also sadly lacking in options for wine. The gym is poorly equipped with no treadmills and only one bike.

Ved booking vidste billederne af værelset bl.a. at der skulle være stensætning omkring badekar og puder i loungemøblerne, men dette var der ikke. Generelt fremstod værelset mørkere og mere “bart” end billederne vidste. Hotellet står listet som 5 stjernet hotel, men det mener vi slet ikke er tilfældet. Låger på skabene i vores te-køkken hang. - Coffre inutile car les piles étaient usées - Menage laissant à désirer : pas de serviettes 2 jours sur les 3 passées dans l'hôtel, Cheveux et sable dans la salle de bain pas enlevés au cours de notre séjour - scooters dangereux : le premier essayé avait la roue avant désaxée sans doute suite à un accident, et le deuxième avait des freins très insuffisants. - repas du jour de l'an : les plats n'étaient plus tenus au chaud à notre arrivée bien qu'il soit prévu un buffet jusqu'à minuit, tres cher pour les mets proposés

Super Christmas dinner, made by the hotel.
The breakfast is good.
The hotel really need an update, is more a 3 star hotel than a 5 star hotel at the moment. There are nothing near the hotel you must rent a scooter or take taxi/ grab.

We’ve stayed in a poolside villa and thoroughly enjoyed it! Comfortable, nice decor, very private! Worth the extra penny for the pool access
It is a secluded resort- it was perfect for us, to relax after busy time and enjoy the peace and quiet, but I imagine it’s a bit far away from the town for some people.

Das Restaurant:nur drinnen für Abends ( außer sie hatten Barbecue), keine Atmosphäre …… Wollten wir abends in die angrenzende Stadt zum Essen, war ein endloses Erklären mit den Taxifahrern , die zu Haufen vor der Anlage auf Gäste warteten , unumgänglich. Fast keiner konnte Englisch

The hotel itself really is absolutely breathtaking. Our room was a private garden room and it was so spacious and luxurious!
Only thing I’d say is that for a 5 star hotel I’d expect the staff to be more attentive. It almost felt a bit lonely there as there weren’t many guests and the bar wasn’t open at night time so there was nothing to do and the location is quite secluded, you can’t just walk into town to a restaurant and the food options here were not great.

De locatie van het Hotel Resort is in de basis goed met een prachtig strand op het westen met een adembenemende zonsondergang.
Helaas klopt er van dit uiterst versleten Hotel Resort niet veel. Dit is geen 5 sterren Hotel Resort maar een slecht versleten 3 sterren hotel met grote kamers. Het begon al dat het gratis ophalen op het vliegveld voor ons volledig mislukte en als je dan naar het hotel opbelt wordt je toegesnauwd dat je 1 1/2 uur moet wachten. Wij hebben voor weinig kosten zelf dus maar een taxi geregeld. Bij de incheck bleek al dat helemaal niemand Engels spreekt, dus met veel Google-Translate kregen wij onze kamer in het hoofdgebouw na de gebruikelijke "Room nog ready jet" wachttijd. De hotelkamer is groot met een balkon en heeft een mooi uitzicht over het zwembad en de zee. In de hotelkamer stond een lege kapotte minibar met enkele grote flessen sterke drank erboven. Bij navraag hebben wij een koelkastje ontvangen, maar nooit enige inhoud van frisdrank of zoiets. De wastafel was echt vies met zwarte vlekken, op het balkon lagen de peuken van de vorige gasten nog, de balkonzitjes waren vies en versleten, TV was analoog met enkel onzichtbare zenders, geen shampoo, douchegel pompje leeg, etc....... Iedere dag als de kamer schoongemaakt was miste er wel iets: Geen kussensloop, geen zeep, geen handdoek, etc. Het ontbijt buffet was prima voor een 3 sterren hotel, maar verre van 5 sterren. De inrichting en aankleding van de 2 restaurants is op niveau "personeelskantine". Kortom geen capabel management. Wij begrijpen totaal niet hoe het mogelijk is dat dit hotel positieve reviews ontvangt. Betalen ze daar Booking.com voor? Er klopt werkelijk helemaal niks van dit hotel. De foto's moeten minimaal 10 jaar oud zijn. Wil dit Hotel Resort nog meedoen dan moeten ze heel snel investeren, renoveren, opleiden en managen. Nu is het helaas zeer teleurstellend. Wij zijn na de Shells naar een ander Hotel Resort gegaan op 2 kilometer afstand in de zelfde prijscategorie en daar klopt het wel, dus het kan...

Everything, I don't know how it's a 5 stars hotel. we booked for 5 nights, we arrived the first night at 11pm after a 7h of flying + 30 min in taxi, to be surprised that hotel's restaurant closes at 10pm. second, most of the staff doesn't understand a word in English, they just answer yes yes/ no no the hotel is super far, and in a isolated area, the hotel is old, not well maintained. smells humid, otherwise the staff are trying to be helpful and nice, but the vibe is missing. it looks like a dead hotel. we spent one. night and asked to cancel our stay, hopefully they will refund as per what they say, the charged me for one extra night as cancellation fees, which I feel it's not fair, as they don't deserve it. Overall, very old hotel, you will feel like dying if you stay there, the breakfast was awful, very limited choices and not even tasty. Anyways, for the same amount of money, or a bit more you can get a real five stars hotel

At vi ikke fikk rabatt på middagen siden vi ikke hadde bestilt den da vi sjekket inn. Litt dårlig service i resepsjonen. At det var langt å gå til andre restauranter og butikker.

Great private beach. The pool was nice, clean, and big with a cool pool bar. Very friendly staff all across the property. Very helpful especially the receptionist that checked us in.
The cleaning staff had no patience and rang the bell early every morning to check if we needed the room cleaned. Multiple people, which got a bit annoying.

Vi havde en helt okay ferie, men dette er ikke et 5 stjernet hotel. Måske det var det engang, men alt er slidt, i stykker og mangler bare generelt den følelse af luksus, som man gerne skulle få ved et 5 stjernet hotel. personalet var flinke, og hjælpsomme, og det er ikke deres skyld at hotellet er slidt og mangler vedligehold. i poolen, var lamperne taget ud, og ledningerne hang ud i vandet, stole og borde i lounge område var i stykker. resturant områderne: slidte og i stykker stole. halvdelen var havestole med rust osv. du bor langt fra alt. ikke engang et minimarked er i nærheden. du skal derfor sørge for at medbringe vand og snacks inden ankomst, da du ikke kan købe noget i nærheden, andet end drikkevarer i baren og mad, der skam er okay, men også temmelig kedeligt efter blot et par dage. menuen er den samme. poolen ved bungalows var lukket (og havde været det noget tid) det havde været vældig skuffende om man havde boet i nærheden af dette, da området bare voldsomt præg af forfald. aircon i vores værelse gik i stykker, vi fik et nyt værelse hvor køleskab ikke virkede og fanen i loftet, var taget ned og ledningerne hang frit fra loftet. badekaret var utæt. blot sådan småting, der nemt kan fikses, men som ikke høre sig til på et 5 stjernet hotel.

Staffs were very nice
Overall wasn’t great. - The AC didn’t work even though I requested to be fixed before I went out, came back still not fixed. Told the receptionist the next day he just replied okay .. - Little attention to detail, couches and surfaces were not properly cleaned, shampoo/shower gel dispensers were broken, etc. - feels like an old resort

Nice and secluded area with private beach.
The lights on the outside of my garden didn’t work so I couldn’t see at night when walking in. I had to call 4 times for it to get fixed and it was fixed in my last day. The grass for my condo was not cut so my villa had an abandoned look.

We loved how accomodating the staff were - just being at the accomodation was so easy. The buggy service was excellent
Once again staff were superb, from the bell boys (special thanks to Quang), reception, beach staff and even the security at the parking gate. 100% would recommend
I also really enjoyed how private the public spaces felt
There were a few cracks within the accomodation and it took away from the luxurious feeling - not major but something to note

일단 숙소가 넓었고 천장이 높고 스위트룸 뷰가 너무좋았습니다
가족단위보다는 커플이나 친구끼리 오는 곳인거같고
조용히 쉬기 좋은 숙소입니다 동양인보다 외국인이많습니다
조용히쉬기좋은곳을 원하신다면 풀빌라동이나 스위트룸을 추천드립니다
나트랑이랑 다낭에 비해 현지 사람들이 친절하고 순수하고 잘 웃습니다 그러나 음식이나 음료는 나트랑이 훨씬 맛있습니다
한국인들이 많이 가서 그런지 한국인이냐고 잘 묻습니다
전반적으로 음식 조미료맛이 안나서 건강한음식이 많습니다

Local Vietnamese staff, kindness, the resort has a unique location and potential
Breakfast, food, can’t believe that in Vietnam which has amazing fruits, vegetables, seafood etc this resort is bot able to profitable leverage it. A lot.of other small details, they need to change management to lift up the resort,

Nothing. The place is worn down & poorly maintained. Signage for units was poor and lighting at night was inadequate .some of the f&b staff was very earnest & tired hard. I suspect they’re under trained .
Worn out. The lobby was literally empty , the waiting area was empty with cabinets and shelves empty . No brochures . It’s as if it was an abandoned movie set. The tv sets in the three villas we rented didn’t work. The arrival day, the staff couldn’t care less if we arrived or not. Check in was painfully slow. Credit card machine didn’t work. Staff was hustling us to use the freelance cars parked outside vs. using Grab. This made a very unpleasant experience.

Tolle Unterkunft in einer tollen Landschaft eingebettet! Wir hatten einen der Bungalows und waren umring von Natur, super schön beim aufwachen. Tolles Haupt-Pool und ein schöner Strand. Zimmer sauber und super geräumig. Das Personal war super hilfsbereit und mega freundlich!
Leider scheint Corona dem Hotel und der Anlage ein wenig zugesetzt zu habe und man merkt das das gesamte Areal in die Jahre gekommen ist. Eine Sanierung wäre sicher keine schlechte Entscheidung, da vieles schon abgewohnt scheint. Schade da es eine wirklich tolle Anlage ist!

The staff and the room were super nice! The pool and the views are amazing. The breakfast is delicious but it was really hot in the restaurant because the aircon wasn't working. In case you need them, they have free transfer from and to the airport but have really reduced times.
For a 5 star hotel, I was expecting more like iron in the room (you have to pay extra to get your clothes ironed), more details in the room like more towels, slippers, water (it is too small, only one sip). To rent a motorbike is 200k dong for only 12h (super strange), so we ask them where we can rent a bike outside, and they were annoyed by this question. The hotel is 20 mins by bike from the main road we expect to have transfer at least but they didn't have... you have taxis outside the door, but of course, they try to trick you into paying more, so we have to request a grab every time that we want to go to the town. There are a lot of details that make them not feel like a 5 star hotel... I won't recommend to my friends

Lovely resort in a quiet garden and beach setting. Great, friendly staff. Great breakfast buffet with a dedicated egg station.
The resort is older and in need of refurbishment. We had an outside sitting area, but the furniture was old and partly broken. The resort is not walking distance from anywhere, so taxis / drivers required for dining out, shopping etc.

Nice private beach, good lounge chairs to enjoy by the pool/beach area. The rooms are big with lots of light and have everything that you need. Staff is professional and effective but not as warm or welcoming as in other places in Vietnam.
Isolated from everything so perfect if you are looking for a rest and just to enjoy the sun.
Some communal areas are in need for some maintenance/upgrade. The garden adjacent to the room was dirty, the lounge furniture had not been cleaned from previous guests. Cleaning standards of room/garden could have been better

Wonderful secluded hotel set on private beach. Room was clean and spacious. Pool area exceptionally clean. Plenty of covered rest spaces to escape the inevitable downpour. Restaurant was limited as still low season but enjoyed our meals. Taxis always on site for a trip or meal away from the resort.
Very serene and just the antidote to four days in Saigon.
Vietnamese signature massage at the spa was fab.
Not enough bottled water in the room and bar prices high with the nearest store being quite a trek. Apart from that small, first world problem nothing bad to say at all!
