Niki- osoba Bardzo dbająca o gości, świetną atmosferę. Poza tym położenie i widoki zapiera dech w piersi. Przy odpływie plaża jak z bajki.

The beach is amazing! Lovely pool. Assistance in organizing a turtle release experience. Nick was great in assisting with this and also if we needed any recommendations.
Order your food and expect to wait at least 60 - 90 minutes for it to arrive. Friendly staff. Very accommodating. Just know that you will wait a long time.

The location activities and staff made it a 10/10 experience.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The place had nice amenities as well and the food was excellent

Really Appreciated the kindness of the staff, especially Nick who supported & bring a special energy to this hotel.
The situation is calm and relaxing & great experience releasing baby turtle.
Ratio Quality / Price is good !
Unfortunatly was at the 2nd floor so the sea view was not as I expected - try to ask to be at least at 3rd floor to have amazing view. Small details could be takken generally to make from Great to amazing experience

L’emplacement est idéal : l’hôtel est isolé et donne vue sur la baie qui est sublime, c’est un emplacement de choix. La piscine est également très belle.
Plusieurs choses, en tout premier lieu le service : à l’exception de Nick qui est très gentil et fera tout pour répondre à vos besoins, et des réceptionnistes qui sont vraiment gentilles, le personnel est exécrable : ils ne veulent pas faire leur travail et le monde ostensiblement.

Personale molto gentile, le ragazze della reseption sono state molto carine con noi durante tutto il soggiorno e nick è fantastico super accogliente e molto amichevole !

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal hier und alles war wieder hervorragend. Nick ist ein außergewöhnlich guter Gastgeber, aber der Rest der Crew ist auch unfassbar zuvorkommend und stets hilfsbereit. Wir waren ganz sicher nicht zum letzten Mal hier.

Nick the general manager is a very nice guy
Save your money and stay at the Secret Hotel in Con Dao instead. • No restaurant The hotel is unfinished, dirty and smells Lift doors will slam shut on you Hotel supplied motorbikes are deathtraps Dirty furniture • Useless staff (Apart from nick the manager) Booked 3 nights but we decided to abandon the hotel immediately, was promised a refund by the hotel but haven't received. Overall terrible experience, the island is beautiful, do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else. All other reviews appear to be fake and posted by the owner

Il voto 9 è soprattutto per la persona di Nik , che meriterebbe anche il 10, è un tuttofare che si prende cura di te dal check in al check out, l unico che parla inglese. Senza di lui l esperienza in struttura non sarebbe la stessa. Nota di merito anche per lo chef del barbecue serale, una persona squisita. La piscina molto bella e anche le camere pulite ed eleganti
Alcune parte della struttura avrebbero bisogno di essere ristrutturate, lo staff a parte Nik non parla inglese ed è un grosso limite per l esperienza in totale, dal mio punto di vista per quello che paghi lo staff dovrebbe essere più preparato. La zona è ideale se vuoi un oasi di pace perché sei nel punto più isolato dell isola, il contro è che se piove ( cosa molto facile) non hai servizi adeguati.

Wir waren zu dritt sechs Tage im Resort und waren rundum begeistert. Die Lage ist traumhaft – ruhig, abgeschieden und mitten in einer wunderschönen Natur. Besonders gefallen haben uns der große Swimmingpool und der schöne, feinsandige Privatstrand. Wir sind jeden Tag schwimmen gegangen. Auch das Frühstück und der Grillabend waren sehr lecker. Das gesamte Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir Nick: Er war immer gut gelaunt, herzlich, humorvoll und hat praktisch jeden Wunsch der Gäste erfüllt. Ein wirklich toller Service!
Eigentlich gab es nichts, was uns wirklich gestört hat. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und uns rundum wohlgefühlt.

Персонал, море, еда очень вкусная, особенно завтрак на высоком уровне.
Даже не выходя с отеля можно провести время на славу и снорклинг прямо на пляже отеля, даже лучше чем на других пляжах.
Нику спасибо отдельное за хорошее отношение и помощь во всем что мы нуждались, и особенно помощь в переводе с английского, он им владеет безупречно! 5 баллов Ник, спасибо что ты там был с нами. Тоан прекрасный человек, готовил вкусный шашлык и помогал мне тоже с переводом на вьетнамский, так как он говорит по русски это большой плюс!
Есть еще одна красивая девушка которая говорит по французски, ей тоже отдельное спасибо, было легко так как мы сами из Франции.
Водитель который нас отвозил 4 августа утром в аэропорт тоже высшего уровня, спасибо ему большое!
Надеюсь начальство оценит своих работников, так как благодаря им нам было приятно находится там.

Prachtige plek! Mooi zwembad, je kan zelf snorkelen bij het aanliggende strand. Dit vonden wij heel erg leuk.
Nick is een fantastische gastheer die alles voor je regelt en heel attent is.
We hebben het hier heel fijn gehad.

The view from the room was lovely. The room size was large and spacious. The BBQ skewers for dinner were good. Nick was very welcoming in restaurant. The pool was lovely.
The property needs some TLC and some consistency in service and offering. We arrived in the afternoon and needed food… despite a sign saying restaurant open all day, it wasn’t. The Pool menu was good, but we were told could only order 2 items… so cold French fries it was! Hard to find staff. No cushions on pool chairs but they were stacked in locked pool bar. Pool bar closed. Holes in pool towels. Ants in room. No instructions for how to use safe. Construction noise in morning. Hit and miss transport arrangements to town. No signs on food in breakfast buffet so not sure what is on offer. Suggest they need English speaking reception staff for international guests.

A stunning view with impressive mountains behind and a turquoise sea in front of my balcony. I highly recommend this resort as well as Condao for those who wish to explore a hidden gem among vast blue ocean, where history and nature are combined perfectly. Thanks a lot !

The beach outside was nice, but the sun loungers were disgusting. The pool is filthy, children and adults seemed to ignore the algae. Breakfast was ok. Same buffet every morning. No need to book a hotel with ‘private beach’ on Con Dao, there’s more empty beaches than full.
The entire hotel is severely rundown. It’s just for Russians, whom I can only assume are getting a great price. I read the reviews before booking, and thought how bad could it be, it’s worse than you could possibly imagine. Most rooms are abandoned, the staff are untrained, bar the one man show who’s simply annoying. It is extremely poor value for money. We ate there once and that was enough to understand why no one else was. You can read from other reviews the multitude of broken/dangerous/filthy parts of the hotel. To top it off, expect to get hassled to leave a positive review after you leave - I can only imagine this is the only reason some reviewers have said good things. You have been warned, stay away.

Resort nằm trg khu yên tĩnh tuyệt đối, có view đẹp, cung đường từ thị trấn đi vào đẹp tuyệt vời.
Bữa sáng ngon, ăn trưa/tối giá cả hợp lý, ngon.
Phòng thoáng, sạch.
Bãi biển nhỏ, và toàn đá, khu này sóng lớn. Ko có bãi tắm như ở thị trấn. Vào đây chủ yếu là yên tĩnh thôi. Nhà vệ sinh ko có nước rửa tay. Mùa này nhiều ruồi và côn trùng quá lụ, này là điểm trừ. BQL nên có cách hạn chế côn trùng mới được.

Le cadre de l’hôtel est vraiment magnifique, avec une vue depuis la chambre absolument superbe, qui reste sans doute le plus beau point du séjour. La plage privée est un vrai plus et permet de profiter pleinement du lieu. Le petit-déjeuner était également très bon, varié et qualitatif. La piscine est agréable et le reste du séjour s’est globalement bien déroulé.
Nous avons aussi beaucoup apprécié la gentillesse et la réactivité de la réception, qui a été adorable avec nous tout au long du séjour et particulièrement efficace lorsque nous avons rencontré quelques soucis.
En résumé, un hôtel avec un cadre exceptionnel et beaucoup de potentiel, mais qui nécessite encore quelques améliorations pour être totalement à la hauteur d’un 4 étoiles.
Même si nous comprenons que l’hôtel est encore en développement avec des travaux en cours, certains points mériteraient d’être améliorés pour correspondre davantage au standing annoncé. À notre arrivée, nous avons été assez surpris de trouver de nombreux insectes morts dans la chambre, y compris dans le lit. La douche était également bouchée au début du séjour. La propreté générale pourrait être un peu plus soignée par moments, et les travaux peuvent parfois nuire au calme du lieu. La piscine mériterait aussi un meilleur entretien. Enfin, il n’y a pas de salle de sport. Le personnel est dans l’ensemble très gentil, même si la communication peut parfois être compliquée en raison de la barrière de la langue et du peu d’employés parlant anglais.

🌴✨ Pobyt w Orson Resort na Con Dao był absolutnie wyjątkowy!
To miejsce ma niesamowity klimat – z jednej strony dzika natura i góry, z drugiej turkusowe morze oraz przepiękna, spokojna plaża. Idealne miejsce, żeby naprawdę odpocząć i oderwać się od świata.
Pokoje przestronne, czyste i z cudownymi widokami na ocean.- jeżeli taki sie weźmie Personel bardzo pomocny serdeczny ,menadżer Nick załatwi wszystko co będziesz potrzebował – od pierwszego dnia czuliśmy się za opiekowani. Śniadania smaczne, świeże i z lokalnymi akcentami, możliwość też zjedzenia przepysznej kolacji na miejscu.
Największy plus? Cisza, prywatna plaża , basen i atmosfera totalnego relaksu. Wieczory przy szumie fal są tutaj niezapomniane 🌊, i widok na krzyż Południa
Jeśli ktoś szuka spokojnego, klimatycznego miejsca na Con Dao – Orson to świetny wybór. Na pewno wrócimy! ❤️

Nick went out of his way to ensure all guests were enjoying their stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was nice, restaurant food was good too. Location lovely but isolated. Bed was comfy.
Room #427 - ocean view partly blocked by stairwell turret, shower flooded bathroom due to slope of floor, plus other issues in the room. Hotel not deserving of 4 stars as poorly maintained. Discounted price still overpriced for the quality.

Secluded location with private beach.

Nick who is the best hotel manager ever and was a highlight of our trip. He always made you feel looked after.
Renovation was happening right next to pool. Food service is slow and a lot of the staff seem hesitant to interact with non Vietnamese tourist. Although website had gym facilities listed, this was being renovated at the time of our stay. Place is in need of minor repairs. We picked the location away from town so you need a taxi to get into town. Check strict conditions for scooter hire. Overall we really loved our stay at Orson.

The location,on the beach was fantastic.
The manager, Nick - was very friendly and helpful.
The upkeeping of the facility was poor. The premises looks like it needs serious renovation. There is lack of maintenance of the property. It seems that the facility is un-managed. The staff are useless - they don't understand a word of English.

Wir fanden alles großartig. Ich verstehe die teilweise schlechten Bewertungen gar nicht. Ja, ein paar Dinge müssen noch fertig gebaut werden, aber unser Zimmer war groß, schön und sowohl ohne Ameisen als auch ohne Ratten, die wir NIRGENDS auf dem Gelände sahen!
Nick ist, wie viele bereits erwähnten, immer zur Stelle und hilft, wo er kann. Allerdings widerspreche ich den anderen Aussagen, den Rest der Mitarbeitenden betreffend: es konnten viele Englisch und ALLE waren hilfsbereit und freundlich! Vielleicht lag es daran, dass auch wir freundlich waren?

The variety and quality of the breakfast buffet was surprisingly good! The private beach cove was absolutely amazing and should be Orson's major selling point. Great for swimming, snorkelling and even flying a kite!
Reception desk in the morning shift could use some better training. Simple questions we asked was answered with uncertainty (e.g. renting motorbikes, tours, check-in times) and didn't convey confidence. I just wanted to relax but instead it felt like I was at work again asking follow up questions repeatedly. It would be great if they could be more proactive... I understand the pool is undergoing renovations but they should really ensure it is safe. Having metal wires poking up in the middle of the deck is a serious tripping hazard (I tripped over it - and no, sticking a coke bottle over it doesn't make it a safety precaution)

Das Orson Hotel liegt abseits aller Orte und ist damit sehr ruhig. Gut ist schon die kostenlose Abholung am Flugplatz sowie das Hinbringen. Der Empfang war sehr nett und begann mit einem Welcome-Drink.
Wir bekamen ein Zimmer im 5. Stockwerk mit einer außerordentlich schönen Aussicht auf Pool und Meer. Das Zimmer war mit 65 m² inklusive eines riesigen Balkons sehr groß. Das Bad war sowohl mit einer großen Wanne als auch einem vielseitigen Duschpaneel ausgestattet.
Obwohl das Hotel gut ausgebucht war, blieb es immer ruhig.
Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich und sehr gut mit vielen Früchten. Auch das sonstige Essen war vielseitig und sehr schmackhaft. Wir hatten 8 Nächte gebucht und das Glück am vorletzten Abend an einem reichhaltigen BBQ mit vielen Meeresfrüchten frisch vom Grill teilnehmen zu können. Besonders hilfreich war NICK, der uns immer wieder mit eigenen Getränke- und Eisdessert-Kreationen überraschte. Auch bei der Essensauswahl war er sehr hilfreich. Eistee mit Früchten und
Eiswasser standen den ganzen Tag kostenlos zur Verfügung
Außerordentlich nett war auch der Hotelbesitzer Alex Trong, der uns schon beim Frühstück persönlich begrüßte und auch sonst immer mit seiner natürlicher Ausstrahlung zur Verfügung stand.
Der Pool war extrem groß mit einer Wassertemperatur von geschätzt 29 °C immer zum Schwimmen einladend. Zwei eingebaute Whirlpools ergänzten die Wohlfühlmomente.
Das Meer war extrem sauber und hatte nahezu die gleiche Temperatur wie der Pool. Allerdings war der Sandstrand nur bei Ebbe frei. Aber auch bei Flut konnte man bequem ins Wasser gehen und hatte ein großes Stück nur sauberen Sand unter den Füssen. Die Liegen am Pool hatten bequeme Polster und Strand-Tücher gab es ohne Einschränkungen.

L’emplacement de l’hôtel est simplement, absolument, superbe 🤩
Une petite crique où lorsque la marée baisse une plage se découvre et où l’on peut s’installer tranquillement 🥰
Pendant le séjour j’ai fais appelle à leur professionnalisme pour organiser un événement particulier, l’anniversaire de ma femme.
Ils ont pu me faire des propositions ainsi que s’adapter à mes demandes, donc parfait 👍
Le repas romantique était excellent 👌 Merci au(x) chef(s).
Une mention particulière pour « Nick » qui est le manager des relations clients, un vrai professionnel.
Pour moi il est digne d’un hôtel 5*.

Je pense que les installations de l’hôtel lui-même tire la prestation vers le bas. Contrairement aux photos l’extérieur entourant l’infinity pool est en travaux. 1 bâtiments en travaux, des passages en travaux et les certaines zones d’herbes aussi sont en réaménagement. Cela s’étend jusqu’à mi-chemin de la plage. Je ne peux parler que de la chambre 209 mais dans la chambre la chaise de bureau était usé, un sable coulait du mobilier à chaque déplacement. Les meubles sur le balcon sont plutôt sommaires, la télé n’a jamais pu se connecter à internet, d’ailleurs dans la chambre on ne captait que très mal le Wi-Fi. Le réseau ne correspondait pas à celui indiqué à l’accueil. La salle de bain est fournit avec une baignoire mais il n’y a pas assez de débit d’eau chaude pour la remplir. On est presque sur du goutte à goutte. 10 minutes à faire couler baignoire ET douche n’a rempli qu’1/4 de la baignoire. Et c’était froid. L’eau chaude n’est vraiment pas chaude, tiède au mieux. Bon il fait chaud dehors alors ça soulage mais ne compter pas prendre « un bain chaud ». Pour finir même si la plage est magnifique quelques déchets sont présent. Je n’ai pas vu de personnels ratisser ou ramasser, un petit moins.

Leaving.
The hotel has rats. I saw a rat in the dining room on the first night and the manager, Nick, told us they were everywhere! I clarified whether they were in the kitchen and he said they were everywhere! He and the owners seemed to dismiss my concerns, telling me I should expect rats as I was near a jungle! We spent a week sat in the room wiring to leave. We ate nothing but packets of crisps all week - it was a terrible honeymoon and we're heartbroken. We couldn't eat there (obviously) and there's nothing else around. It's such a shame as it's a great menu and location (if you want to be in a secluded area), but hygiene is of no concern. We were appalled to receive a photo of a dead rat from the hotel during our stay... as if one killed addressed the infestation! It was a nightmare, rather than a once in a lifetime holiday. The manager seemed to be very sorry as he understood it ruined our honeymoon, but he couldn't get the owners to refund us. Strangely, instead if a refund, we were offered a paid for holiday to Thailand next year (which we don't trust or accept). This 'resort' looks good, but is rat infested. Please avoid!

Nous ne comprenons pas les commentaires négatifs précédents. Du coup nous avions beaucoup hésité avant de prendre cet hotel mais nous avons été complètement satisfait par notre séjour. Tout était très bien : la chambre, la vue superbe, l'insonorisation, la literie. L'hotel en général aussi était très bien avec une belle plage privée et deux belles piscines. La terrasse donne sur la mer et sur la montagne. On peut faire du basket, du billard, du tir à l'arc. Les petits déjeuners et les repas étaient très bons. Nick qui s'occupe des clients nous a proposé de louer des scooters electriques ce qui était très pratique pour se déplacer sur l'île. Bref, nous avons passé un excellent séjour au Orson Hotel !

Nick ist ein super Miarbeiter und kümmert sich mit Herzblut um jeden einzelnen Gast und seine Bedürfnisse. Er ist das einzige, was die Stimmung im Hotel noch rettet. Das Frühstück ist ok. Das Zimmer war groß und sauber.
Ansonsten wirkt das Hotel unfertig und gleichzeitig schon etwas heruntergekommen. Es gibt einen wunderschönen Privatstrand, den man auch anscheinend vor Langem angefangen hat zu bebauen und dann hat unfertig zerfallen lassen. Die Poolbar ist eine Baustelle und ein Zimmer, das uns angeboten wurde, hatte Ameisen. Das schlimmste ist aber das Personal, welches manchmal schlecht gelaunt wirkt und die einfachsten Worte auf englisch nicht versteht, wobei auch mit Google Translate die Kommunkation sehr schwierig ist und es zu vielen Missverständnissen kam. Ohne Nick und sein Englisch wären wir echt verloren gewesen. Das Hotel ist etwas abgelegen und es gibt kein Grab, sodass man darauf angewiesen ist, sich im Hotel einen Scooter zu leihen, wenn man rumkommen will, was aber gut geklappt hat. Im Hotel selbst ist nichts los, keine Musik und das Licht wird im Außenbereich um 22 Uhr ausgemacht, wenn niemand da ist. Man kann gegen Aufpreis eine Karaokebox mieten, aber wer macht das schon zu zweit, das Hotel sollte das einfach mal anbieten, um die Leute zusammenzubringen und die Stimmung ein bisschen aufzuwerten, nötig wäre es. Alles in Allem ist das Hotel ok und dank Nick kommt man gut klar, aber absolut nicht das, was man für den Preis und die 4 Sterne erwarten kann. The location was top notch, i cant think of anywhere in the world which could beat this spot! Beautiful private beach and infinity pool. But the best feature by Far was Nick, the people manager. He was absolutely amazing, could not do enough for us, he even personally brought us breakfast in bed every morning. No job was too much for him, he just loves making the guests happy. Thank you so much Nick

Nos encantó todo.
Personal muy amable y hablando inglés. Nick ayuda con todo para que la estancia sea inmejorable.
La piscina es genial y la playa de acceso privado es impresionante y muy bonita para disfrutarla.
Desayuno muy bueno y variado todos los días.
Calidad-precio inmejorable.
Buenos cocktails.
Alquilamos moto allí con permiso europeo sin ningún problema.
Ubicación separada, pero se llega a todos los sitios en poco tiempo (15 min en moto) perfecta para relajarse y disfrutar de la isla.
Sin duda volvería.
Lo único que no nos gustó es quedarnos solo dos días, nos habriamos más tiempo. Algunas instalaciones requieren mantenimiento, pero en realidad no afecta nada la agradable estancia. Pueden haber quejas de eso, pero con lo el precio tan bueno no tiene sentido quejarse por esos pequeños detalles.. Habían algunas obras, por lo que se ve que están mejorando y tiene mucho potencial. En general, no podría decir nada malo, ya que fue lo mejor de nuestro viaje en Vietnam.

Privater Strand mit schön gelegenem Pool und bester Aussicht auf das traumhaft blaue Meer.
Grosse Zimmer mit riesen Fenstern auf die Natur, sehr bequeme und weiche Betten.
Ohne Nick (der womöglich einzige Mitarbeiter der überhaupt Englisch spricht-und das aber ausgezeichnet) wäre unser kurzer Aufenhalt nicht halb so angenehm gewesen. Danke dafür :)
Wir sind morgens um 7 schon angekommen und er hat uns direkt zum Frühstück eingeladen und wir konnten bis zum einchecken direkt den Pool und alles andere nutzen.
Essen war voll okay, wenn man nichts außergewöhnliches bestellt sondern eher lokale/vietnamesische Speisen.

Cocktails kann man nicht trinken. Strand ist leider nicht sehr gepflegt, nur vereinzelte Liegen die herumstehen. 98% der Mitarbeiter die kein Wort englisch können, sogar die an der Rezeption brauchen ihren Google Übersetzer um zu kommunizieren

Locatie is top. Grote meerwaarde zwembad en baai. Wel afgelegen; 15min met taxi naar stadje. Meer prachtig om te relaxen.
Personeel heel aardig; vooral Nick konden we op ieder moment aanspreken voor hulp. Heel fijn.
Huurden elektrische scooter: fijn maar je komt niet ver met de accu.
Prijs is behoorlijk duurder dan andere hotels op eiland. Keuze keuken is matig.

Very peaceful resort, clean, private beach and good breakfast. Owner was always cheerful and attentive to all guests. Will stay here again.
Only one thing was the reception was not as proactive in explaining the options when we tried to book an island day trip. In the end we organised our own trip for the day. Will do island trips on another visit.

Der Ausblick in die Bucht ist traumhaft. Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön und auch von unserem Balkon aus hatte man einen zauberhaften Blick über den Infinitypool und die Lagune. Man kann sehr gut schnorcheln und sieht schon wenige Meter vom Strand aus bunte Fische. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, ich wäre so gern noch länger dort geblieben! ❤️

Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett, insbesondere Nick hat immer bei allem sehr freundlich und effektiv geholfen.
Man kann sehr schön im Meer schwimmen, wohl auch viele schöne Fische beim Schnorcheln an den Felsen sehen, ein richtig schöner Strand ist es allerdings nicht. In den Ort oder zu anderen Stränden fährt man mit Mopeds vom Hotel oder dem Taxi. Die Zimmer sind in Ordnung, die Launch ist nett, die Anlage auch, aber nicht mehr so chick wie auf den Bildern.

Like all Hotel / Resort style accommodation, the Orson is recovering from 3 years of COVID crushing financial losses. A road many businesses couldn’t recover from.
So how is the Orson accomplishing this gargantuan task, keeping the doors open?
Nick the Guest Ambassador, his staff, food quality, atmosphere, current price, and ideal location, has a lot to do with the success. Maybe everything to do with its success!!
Some sacrifices had to be made to keep the Orson running. Some of the “Spa” feel is still on hold. Staff is still a bit short and snorkelling gear could use an update……. but these were minor inconveniences for us.
If you’re looking for larger room sizes, a delicious menu, outstanding location, a GM that really cares about the guests, situated on a fabulous island….. The Orson on Con Dao is the perfect place.
There’re a lot more positives ( to many to list ), over the temporary, minor, negative list.
I / we, recommend AND we will return…. that says the most.

The scenery of this hotel is hard to beat. Of course being in front of the sea comes with challenges (humidity & wind for example) but overall you don't go wrong with the location, comfort and service.
Snorkeling is very easy too in front of the hotel.
Finally what made our trip memorable is Nick.
This number 1 guy made everything possible for us and our family. It wouldn't have been the same without him.
You'll recognize him 😉

La gentillesse du personnel qui a accepté ma demande de changer de chambre à mon arrivée. L'emplacement isolé et au calme. La chambre était spacieuse et confortable. Le petit déjeuner est généreux et varié. La piscine est très agréable.
L'hôtel semble un peu figé dans le temps. Il manque d'entretien et la décoration n'est pas chaleureuse. Quelques efforts pourraient rendre cet hôtel vraiment excellent !

Sehr gepflegtes Hotel mit tollem Pool. Super freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal, gutes Frühstück, kostenloser Rollerverleih.

Das Hotel ist etwas außerhalb gelegen , perfekt um ruhe zu genießen
es fährt ein kostenloser Shuttlebus mehrmals täglich zum Flughafen mit option in der Stadt rausgelassen zu werden.
Der Strand ist bei ebbe gut zum Baden

Nick was fantastic, the beach is a 10plus…
Good and drinks a bit expensive and you are very remote so nowhere else to go, unless you travel 20 mins to town.

A truly wonderful getaway for us. It lived up to our expectations due to its exclusivity in an amazingly peaceful setting. The bay is perfect for swimming and snorkelling and the beach which appears at low tide makes the whole experience extra special. The staff were friendly and helpful and Nick is a stand out for customer service. He arranged so much for us and always went the extra mile. We appreciated his attention to detail including a lift to town, taxi organisation for our return and restaurant recommendation. The breakfast is comprehensive and covers all needs and the menu for lunches and dinners covers all culinary tastes. We enjoyed the experience, so much that we will consider returning for another get away in the near future. Con Dao and the Orson Hotel are our new favourite getaway from the busy HCMC.

Sehr freundliches Personal (im speziellen Nick). Sie haben geholfen den Aufenthalt zum Geburtstag meiner Freundin zu feiern.
Das Bett war sehr bequem, das Zimmer sehr sauber und die Aussicht vom Balkon ist herrlich. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist super.
Es ist etwa 20 min entfernt vom Zentrum, aber das wussten wir ja schon zuvor. Wer etwas ruhiges sucht ist hier genau richtig

The hotel is in a very quiet part of the island - don't expect shops within walking distance!
The outlook is gorgeous, just steps from a private beach and the staff are friendly - a special shout out to Nick who is an absolute legend, nothing he won't help you with. Man is a star.
Restaurant food in the mornings/evenings was good and there was plenty of it.
The pool had a great outlook and was well maintained. A very relaxing stay.

We stayed there during our honeymoon and also during Christmas, and everything was perfect. The delicious breakfast, the infinity pool, the motorbike rental, and the private beach...this hotel truly offers everything you need for an unforgettable island getaway.

The private beach was really nice with wonderful views. The breakfast buffet is huge and varies from day to day. Its a bit remote but great if you just want to relax and you can rent scooters at the reception. Try the coconut pineapple smoothie.

Dejligt hotel i smuk natur. Fredeligt område og smuk udsigt over havet fra vores store balkon. Stort og rent værelse og rigtig god seng. Rigtig lækker morgenmad. Manager Nick var sød og hjælpsom og var med til at lave en varm og god stemning på hotellet.

It’s located on its own private cove so you have stunning views looking out and equally stunning views facing into the island of the beautiful mountains. The rooms are quite large with an equally large balcony space so we were super comfortable chilling in the room. The staff were very friendly, especially Nick, who made it feel like he would sort any request we had.
The large balcony could use more furniture to take up the large space, the two small chairs felt lacking. Some parts of the hotel looked like they could use a little love and felt a bit dated. They only rent bikes to international driving licence holders so rent bikes in the town if you don’t have one.

The room had lovely fragrance all the time of our stay and everything was beautifully clean,the sheets and pillowcases spotless. The staff were all very friendly and obliging. The stand out was Nick who spoke English very well, and other languages too and smoothed the way for the barely English speaking staff along with Google translate. He explained it was also a training establishment for young people to get experience in hospitality - this should be made a feature as we have seen in other places and Cambodia.The food was well made and very tasty. The pool was well designed being the same depth except for the very end cordoned area for children. It was large and deep enough to swim yet wasn't too deep. A 5 footer like me could stand easily and safely. There was also a lower pool. It had access to a beach which was private and some guests chose that option for swimming too.
It was a place of faded glory. It looked very communist does western. It needed a lot of loving care with maintenance. The net curtains in the room had rust stains, the balcony glass could have done with a good clean. If it wasn't for Nick communication would have been much more difficult and training could be improved for the sake of the young people's level of experience gained and to be transferable. It had a strange kind of vibe,not bad but odd - a bit like a campsite clubhouse, a sports pub/bar with its constant showing of sport on a big screen (silent) vying with music playing, or a house party chez Nick. It felt like it was waiting for the party to start and that it hadn't quite found it's identity/style. Could do with sun beds for the lower pool - nothing down there so hardly used, if at all. Also down by the beach would be nice - but as there was just one young man looking after the area perhaps the beach chairs are asking too much.(Dont think there were eniugh staff anyway and those that were there expected to do a lot and keep long hours. A situation which seems common) The ceramic steps out of the side of the pool in certain parts and the stone stairs leading down to the beach were very tall, could have done with being double the number, especially as the beach ones were concrete and large pebbles.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Only 10 minutes from the town, very easy to reach by bike which you can rent at the hotel. The property offers a stunning mountain view and a beautiful private beach. Nice room with comfortable bed, and nice breakfast. The staff were very friendly.

Nothing , this place is like a museum of horror - nothing that you will ever expect when you come here. This is a scam, I don’t know how they can have this rating on booking, no one understands. Run away !! Any other hotel in the island will be better.

Very very cheap hotel: - no internet from the most expensive room (deluxe suite) - view on a horrible parking while it was supposed to be sea and jungle view - no hot water in the shower - horrible restaurant and breakfast - far from everything, impossible to rent a scooter with the new legislation and overpriced taxi to go to the center - no manager in the hotel and no one speaking English to help you. Just a random guy named Nick who will call you « my friend » every 5 minutes while you are about to implode. You will notice a line of people complaining at the front desk everyday because nothing works and everyone wants to leave but they refuse to refund. This place is a like a « golden jail ». Please, if you see this comment, do not come here or you will regret it a lot.

Wer die Einsamkeit und Abgeschiedenheit an einen traumhaften Strand sucht, ist hier total richtig. Hier ist man abseits der Zivilation und im Einklang mit der Natur. in unmittelbarer Nähe keine Geschäfte, keine Straßenhändler, keine Restaurants, keine Massagen. Hier kommt auch der gestressteste zur Ruhe.
Restaurant, Getränke und Minibar gut und günstig.
Und dann ist da Nick. Ohne Nick läuft das ganze Hotel nicht. Denn er ist der EINZIGE, der englisch spricht und sich um jeden Gast persönlich kümmert. Egal, was für ein Problem oder Wunsch besteht. Er erfüllt es.
Roller anmieten kann gefährlich sein, da diese Defekte wie schlechte Bremsen haben. Hier wird nur vietnamesisch gesprochen; die Mitarbeiter können kein englisch. Und der Translater hilft kaum weiter, da viele auch nicht lesen und schreiben können. Wie gesagt: hier ist man weit ab der Zivilisation und im Einklang mit der Natur.

Nice remote location by the sea - although important to note that it’s a 15 minute drive from the city by car (long wait for taxis) or scooter, but that wasn’t an issue for us.
The pool is really nice and the sandy beach is perfect for a swim as well.
We rented scooters elsewhere but could park them at the hotel and even bought petrol right from the hotel, which was convenient.

The pool towels were really worn and had holes in them. Awkward bath and shower with no glass or curtain so the water gets everywhere. The staff don’t speak English at all, apart from one person, so communication is awkward and difficult.

De locatie is top in een prive strand met witte zand. Prachtig water & heerlijk gezwommen. Ook de twee zwembaden zijn prachtig & relaxed. Hotel is schoon en ontbijt is zeer goed en uitgebreid. Personeel is heel aardig, soms lastig communiceren omdat niet iedereen (goed) Engels spreekt. Free ophaal/brengen naar de vliegveld was ook top.
Hotel is afgelegen en ligt ca 15 minuten ca 15 minuten af van de stad met de auto. Shuttle bus is alleen 1 keer in de ochtend. Het zou beter zijn als er 3-4 shuttle diensten waren gedurende de dag. Hotel heett meer sfeer nodig, leuke tafels buiten met kaarsen etc. Zeker als je de gasten in de hotel wilt hebben, zou het iets gezelliger moeten maken.Gebrek van Engels bij het personeel soms lastig maar Google Translate biedt gelukkig een oplossing voor.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffets were always tasty with a variety of good foods. The hotel has a beautiful clean sandy private beach that you can enjoy.
The staff are very helpful and friendly. Nick, the manager, is a great guy, he helped us a lot during our stay, a huge shoutout to Nick! The location is also perfect for us, who don’t like crowded touristic area but prefer more tranquil place with beautiful nature. You can easily drive to town on scooter rented from the hotel.
The hotel staff picked us up and dropped us off at the airport, you just need to inform them in advance. They also helped us book a snorkeling tour which was really fun. Everyone was so helpful there.
Overall, we liked it a lot and would love to come back to Orson next time definitely.

L’emplacement isolé. Une jolie petite plage privée. La grande piscine à débordement. Les chambres sont assez grandes ( celles vu sur la mer). Nick, le manager fait un super travail, aidant et attentif.

Die Lage ist sehr gut, wenn man abseits der kleinen (und einzigen) Stadt auf Con Dao seinen Aufenthalt verbringen möchte. Der Blick auf das Meer und die dicht bewaldeten Bergen sind paradiesisch.
Das Frühstück war in Ordnung.
Der Flughafentransfer war unkompliziert.
Der Preis pro Nacht (ca. 80 Euro in der Nebensaison) entspricht europäischen teilweise gehobenen Standards. Für diesen Preis würde man sich in Vietnam und vor allem Con Dao (weniger touristisch) fast all inclusive vorstellen. Die Zimmer waren nicht besser oder sauberer als vergleichsweise weitaus billigere Zimmer in Ho Chi Minh City oder Hanoi (ca. 15-20 Euro). Die Fugen der Badezimmer müssten dringend erneuert oder einmal gereinigt werden, die Bademäntel werden nicht gewechselt und Schlappen vom Vorgänger waren im Schrank. Die Bettwäsche hatte Löcher und die Fenster waren nicht geputzt. Ansonsten wurden die Zimmer nur oberflächlich gereinigt. Die gesamte Anlage hätte enormes Potential ist aber leider in die Jahre gekommen. Das Personal spricht kein Wort Englisch, Kommunikation ist lediglich mit Google Translate möglich. Roller welche man sich im Hotel ausleihen kann sind teilweise so leer dass man Glück hatte überhaupt noch in die Stadt zu kommen. Die Poolbar ist eine Attrappe. Der Fotos des Strandes sind irreführend, da ab ca. 10 die Flut (Trockenzeit) den kompletten Strand bedeckte. Die Pflanzen und das Gras auf der Anlage sind vertrocknet.. Für ein Hotel in dieser Preisklasse ist das extrem enttäuschend und es müssten die oben genannten punkte verbessert werden um in die Nähe eines Mittelklassehotels von zb. Hanoi zu kommen, bei welchem man ein Viertel/Nacht zahlt.

Die Aussicht und die Umgebung war toll.
Personal konnte kein Englisch. Essen war sehr schlecht und teuer. Preis-Leistung hat überhaupt nicht gestimmt. Es hatte kein Fitness obwohl damit beworben wird. In unserem Zimmer war es sehr schimmlig.

Voici les points positifs de l'hôtel :
- la piscine très récente et belle.
- nourriture su restaurant
- le fait de pouvoir petit déjeuner à l'extérieur
- mise a disposition de scooters (100k/jour)
Points à améliorer : - sentiment de délabrement de l'ensemble de l'hôtel. On dirait un bâtiment des années 70 , qui n'a pas été entretenu - le personnel ne parle pas un mot d'anglais, sauf le manager qui fait de son mieux mais ne peut pas être partout. - l'absence de professionnalisme du personnel. Ils sont sans arrêt sur leurs téléphones sans se soucier des clients . - absence de propreté perceptible - odeur d'humidité forte dans les chambres - eau de la douche pas toujours chaude - hôtel excentré, il faut le savoir, donc location de scooter obligatoire.

The private beach. At low tide, the hotel’s beach—although small—can be pleasant. That said, there are more beautiful beaches elsewhere on the island.

Con Dao egyik legszebb fekvésű szállodája - remek saját stranddal és medencével. Bőséges és változatos büféreggeli, hatalmas szoba, kényelmes ágy, csodás kilátás még a hátrafelé (hegyre) néző szoba esetében is. Nick pedig fantasztikus, mindenki számára van egy jó szava és a gyakorlatban is bármikor fordulhattunk hozzá minden kérdésünkkel/kérésünkkel.

Fantastic hotel
On quiet island but some great little local restaurants in the town 15 mins on scooter
Also good food at the hotel and great staff

Beach and nature were super close. Not much noise.
Not enough chairs near the pool, none on the beach area. Only one person spoke English, and I get it.. not everyone needs to speak it, but all smaller hotels for ¼ of price had English speaking staff. Rooms and whole "resort" are quite outdated, and clearly there are signs of mold. Im glad I booked only 4 nights out of 8 in the Con Dao. You must have a scooter, if not - you are stuck

Beautiful location on the island. Good facilities and entertainment available, pool table for example. Nick the host is very helpful and entertaining. Beds were fantastic and the smart TV is well set up with the ability to share your mobile screen. The moped rental is good value.
The food is good but not great. I had spaghetti used in a beef noodle dish. Menu seems to be catered towards a western pallette. The level of English of the staff is low compared to other locations in Vietnam but they are all very friendly otherwise.

Si vous recherchez un endroit au calme pour vous poser, Orson est très bien. l'hôtel se situe loin de tout (prévoir location scooter ou grab), et donc au calme. la vue est splendide, la plage en contrebas se situe dans une crique, la piscine permet quelques longueurs ( ce n'est pas qu'une pataugeoire). Enfin le personnel est très à l'écoute et fait tout son possible pour régler les petits désagréments du à un hôtel vieillissant.
L'hôtel mériterait une rénovation, l'usure du temps se voit.

La piscine et la mer
C’était franchement lunaire comme expérience. On dirait un hôtel abandonné depuis les 70s. Très mal entretenu, mal nettoyé. Le personnel n’est pas formé et n’est clairement pas heureux. Le bar ne ressemblait à rien et n’avait pas de whisky en stock, pour ne citer qu’un exemple parmi tant d’autres choses qui n’allait pas. Ils ne vendent pas de bouteille d’eau fermées. Pour 40€ la nuit j’aurai pas eu grand chose à dire, pour 100€ on en est à du scam. Très très déçu, ne faites pas cette erreur. Vous serez bien mieux dans un petit logement local à aller à la plage en scooter tranquillement.

Beautiful surroundings and friendly staff
Only 1 spoke a proper English, hardly any sun beds and people blocked them early in the morning. The hygiene for food didn’t seem too good, eg we are pretty sure left overs from peoples dinner were served at the breakfast buffet.

We had a great time in Orson Hotel. Great breakfast, clean room, fantastic swimming pool, private beach and amazing views! And as everyone else, I can’t prise enough Nick - he’s a legend! There is no task or challenge that he wouldn’t be able to solve! Huge thanks to Nick and his staff to make our stay perfect! If I ever have a chance to visit again I would definitively book again.

Localisation exceptionnelle: vue sur la mer; plage très agréable (à marée basse uniquement, pas de plage à marée haute); très belle piscine.
J’ai mis une note de 7/10 seulement grâce à l’emplacement.
L’hôtel semble peu géré. Le personnel (à part une personne) ne parle pas anglais. Les équipements sont nettement insuffisants et en mauvais état (très peu de transats à la piscine et aucun sur la plage; transats en mauvais état). L’hôtel n’est pas propre (chambres très mal nettoyées; sable derrière le canapé; serviettes de piscine sentant le café et le tabac; mégots par terre non ramassés devant le restaurant; …). Enfin, le restaurant est très mauvais.

L’hôtel est exceptionnel, très bien placé , le petit dej fabuleux et les repas formidables . Le personnel bien sûr ne parlent pas anglais est très accueillant . Surtout vous rencontrerez Nick , qui du matin au soir s’occupe de tout , pour tout le monde . Avec efficacité et sourire . Et cette disponibilité et cette gentillesse il l’applique aussi à ses employés , ce qui fait que c’est un établissement magique où les clients et le personnel sont heureux

la plage est superbe, le site est très beau et le petit déjeuner est excellent.
certains équipements dans les chambres ne sont pas à la hauteur (cuvette des toilettes trop petites par exemple) et les repas en dehors du petit déjeuner n'étaient pas fameux et assez chers.

L'endroit est magnifique, Hôtel perdu dans la nature. La chambre grande et confortable. La piscine est très gande. Très belle plage, la plus propre de l'île. Le petit-déjeuner est très varié. On a demandé à changer de chambre à notre arrivée et notre demande a été acceptée. Merci tout particulièrement à Nic, Monsieur Superman du Orson.

A acomodação oferece ótimos quartos, um ótimo café da manhã e boas instalações como piscina e vista do mar. Fomos muito bem recebido pelo Nick! Recomendo.

Hotelli itsessään on upealla sijainnilla ja maisemat huikeat. Hotellin omistaja erittäin mukava, halusi pitää kaikista vieraista huolta. Huoneet isoja ja allasalue kiva!
Meille oli ennen varausta kerrottu, että mopon saa vuokrattua hotellilta. Ne olivat kuitenkin loppu kun saavuimme. Jouduimme kulkemaan taksilla keskustaan, jota odotimme 40min. Onneksi saimme kuitenkin seuraavana päivänä skootterin sillä kulkeminen ilman sitä olisi ollut haastavaa. Taksi keskustaan kauppoihin oli kallis yleiseen hintatasoon nähden. Toinen miinus siitä, että henkilökunta ei osannut englantia joten kommunikointi tapahtui kääntäjällä joka oli osittain hankalaa. Kolmas miinus kosteusongelmat. Itse olen herkkä homeelle ja aloin oireilemaan saavuttuamme. Lopputulos oli se, että kurkkuni turposi aamulla ja tulin flunssaiseksi. Tämä on erittäin ikävä ongelma. Sen myös näkyi huoneen materiaaleissa. Ainiin, lisämiinus vielä siitä, että veneretkiä ei tuulen takia voitu järjestää. Tästä olisi hyvä mainita ennakkoon.

We stayed in Orson for a week and had a great time. The pool and the beach is fantastic. The personal is friendly and they have Nick. Nick is the king of hospitality and service management! He makes sure everyone has a great time. The Hotel is located in a nice place, but it is a bit off, so you need the mopeds to get around. Nick will help you with that to.

Obiekt z niesamowitymi widokami, z pięknym morzem koloru turkusowego otoczony cudownymi górami. Niesamowity basen z którego był cudowny widok na morze. Pyszne śniadania, różnorodne i życzliwy personel.

Die Lage ist top! Auch wenn die Bucht sehr windig sein kann, ist sie wunderschön.
Die Kulisse aus dem 5ten Stockwerk/Rooftop (dazu bei negativ unten mehr) mit den beiden Buchten und Bergen im Hintergrund ist fantastisch. Wir hatten das Superiorzimmer an der Seite mit Sicht auf Bucht und Berge, das Fensterpanorama (schöne grosse Fenster) hat mich an Jurassic Park erinnert.
Die Location ist etwas abgelegen und ruhig. Genügend Mopeds da die man ausleihen kann.
Sehr positiv ist uns der einzige, ich wiederhole! der einzige englischsprachige und sehr sympatische und immer hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter NICK aufgefallen. Nick you make my day, THX.

Der Gratis Transfer vom Flughafen.
Das Hotel hat an sich viel Potential, ist aber leider ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen und eher außerhalb gelegen, so dass man es ohne Roller oder Auto wirklich schwer hat. Die Preise für Essen und Trinken sind für Vietnam extrem hoch und es schmeckt nicht gut. Ich hatte von der Karte Spaghetti mit Tomatensauce und Parmesan bestellt, angekommen sind gebratene Nudeln mit Möhren und Pak Choi für umgerechnet 12€, was sehr ärgerlich war. Beim Frühstück wurden vermutlich die Reste von meinem Teller mit serviert, da das Frühstück ebenfalls wenig ansprechend war. Ein Gast hat sich durchgehend mit seinen Händen statt dem Servierbesteck an Obst, Gemüse, Brot, Aufschnitt usw. Bedient, was einfach unhygienisch ist. Die Zimmer sind groß, aber ziemlich leer. Das ganze Zimmer war voll mit Abortfliegen, was den muffigen Geruch im gesamten Hotel erklärt und für weniger Hygiene spricht. Fast niemand im Hotel spricht englisch. Alle sind sehr schüchtern, reden auf ihrer Sprache und kichern durchgehend, wodurch man sich nicht wirklich willkommen fühlt. Im ganzen Hotel finden sich Angestellt die aber lieber am Handy spielen, statt ihrer Arbeit nachzugehen. Es gibt einen Pool, allerdings kaum Liegen. Ins Meer würde ich hier ebenfalls nicht gehen wollen. Wir sind früher ausgeheckt, haben aber einen Teil unseres Geldes erstattet bekommen.

Everything was great, from the service to the staff, also the Manager.
They also have free pick up and drop off service from the airport.

Misschien iets meer shuttle ritten naar en van het dorp. Een voorraadje benzine in het hotel was leuk geweest, nu moesten we zelf eerst op zoek gaan naar een benzinestation... Geen witte wijn en weinig frisdrank die op de kaart staan op voorraad

We've spent 5 nights in Orson and we loved it! It's like 15 min drive by scooter from the city which really gives you that feeling of being on remote island. Big thanks to Nick, the host there... lovely guy, very helpful, bringing smile and good vibes everyday!

The location is peaceful, the pool is amazing and so is the beach! The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the staff are sweet and attentive . Nick is a great host, very helpful, makes everyone feel at home. We extended our stay!

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno davvero splendido all’Orson Resort. La struttura si trova in una posizione appartata, fuori dalla città: un angolo di pace assoluta. Con lo scooter, facilmente noleggiabile direttamente in hotel, in soli 10 minuti si raggiunge il centro, quindi la distanza non rappresenta un problema. Anzi, viene ampiamente ripagata dalla splendida posizione sulla spiaggia privata: per noi una delle più tranquille, pulite e suggestive di tutta l’isola.
Consigliamo vivamente le camere con vista mare: sono ampie, luminose, ben curate e sempre pulite. Il personale non è molto numeroso, ma ognuno di loro è gentile, sorridente e disponibile. Con un buon traduttore si comunica senza difficoltà.
La colazione offre un’ampia varietà di piatti, soprattutto nella proposta salata, ed è perfetta per iniziare la giornata con gusto. Bellissima anche la piscina a sfioro, ideale per rilassarsi, e molto apprezzato il tavolo da biliardo nella hall.
Un ringraziamento speciale va a Nick, una presenza costante, allegra e davvero preziosa durante il nostro soggiorno. Ci ha dato ottimi consigli su ristoranti, spiagge e luoghi da visitare, e si è rivelato una persona splendida. Porterò in Italia il ricordo del suo inimitabile caffè ghiacciato “Vietnamese iced coffee – Nick style”.
Inoltre, per chi ama la natura come noi, è stato un piacere poter osservare le scimmie nei dintorni e i piccoli gecko dal verso caratteristico: dettagli che rendono l’esperienza ancora più autentica e immersa nell’ambiente naturale dell’isola.
In conclusione, con il giusto spirito di adattamento, l’Orson Resort è un ottimo hotel dove vivere un’esperienza autentica e rilassante a Con Dao.

Отель отлично расположен. Свой пляж.
Море очень тёплое и купаться можно в любую погоду, поскольку в бухте никогда нет сильной волны.
Очень внимательный и приятный персонал.
Прекрасный завтрак.

Die beste Lage auf der gesamten Insel und eine Aussicht, wie man sie nur selten findet! Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend. Nick hat den Aufenthalt sehr besonders gemacht, super Tipps und jede Menge Späße. Frühstücksbuffet war auch super.
Wir wurden sogar auf unserem Rückweg zum Flughafen von Nick inklusive Freibier begleitet. Wunschlos glücklich.

Quiet area with private beach. Breakfasts are great and so are lunch/dinner menus.

Fantastiska rum. Närheten till hav och dimhöljda berg. Jättebra pool att simma i när blåsten gjorde det svårt i havet. Trevlig och tillmötesgående personal. Supermysigt ställe.
Svårt att ta sig i havet på ett säkert sätt, det behövs en ledstång eller dylikt till stentrappan.

Nick was an absolute dream. Kind, fun, knowledgeable, entertaining, helpful in every respect and a joy. He helped with EVERYTHING.
He "makes" this hotel. Thank god he's there. A REAL asser to the hotel.
The deluxe room view was straight out of a movie. Superb.
The bed and pillows were like sleeping on a cloud.
The pools are superb. Both of them.
Swam on beach, it's clean and just wonderful.
The moped service is excellent. You can ride to sunset cafe about 2 kms on left exit of hotel or ride to town 5 km on right exit from hotel.
The WiFi was perfect.
The airport shuttle was top class. They collected me on arrival and dropped me off at 4.50am for early flight departure.
Breakfast was perfect.
This hotel is a hidden GEM!!

Die Lage des Hotels ist super, ruhig und in einer kleinen Bucht. Der Strand ist super schön und es ist nichts los. Der Pool ist sehr groß und wir hatten ihn für uns alleine.
Das Personal kann kaum Englisch, aber Victor und Nick machen das wett. Victor ist so freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank dafür.
zu empfehlen ist auch der Ausflug zu den Baby Schildkröten. ein einmaliges Erlebnis. Wir haben uns einen Roller für unseren Aufenthalt am Hotel gemietet, sehr empfehlenswert.
Unser Zimmer war auch sehr schön.

I en unik kulisse leverede personalet og især Nick en oplevelse og en service, som var så uovertruffen, at det ikke kan beskrives. Vi mødte varme, empati, indlevelse og opmærksomhed på en måde, som vi aldrig glemmer. I stedet vil vi håbe på livslangt venskab - og på at vende tilbage til Orson og Con Dao en dag.

Location was amazing, far away from town on far south side of the island with peace and quiet. The private beach was in a little cove and made swimmer perfect for the kids.
Staff was top notch and cater to all our needs. Special mention to Nick who went over and above to ensure we comfortable. 100% will stay again. Also the good was really tasty as well!
The balcony in our room only had 2 chairs. It was large and had wonderful views but another table or plants would have made it feel less sparse.

Amazing location. The only resort of its kind in that area of Con Dao, which made it exceptionally peaceful and quiet! Awesome private beach with warm, tranquil water and a promenade for when the tide is high. Best of all, the staff represented by the wonderful Nick was super helpful and accommodating! We will most definitely be back!

The location of the hotel (it’s a 15-minute motorbike ride from the center) is surrounded by nature, very calm and relaxing. The staff was incredible, always available, and they even took us to and picked us up from the airport. They prepared takeaway breakfasts for us to bring on the plane and for a tour we did early in the morning. Nick was super attentive and welcoming, always ready to help us with any questions we had about the hotel or the island. We loved the pool and the room with a view. One day there was a storm, so we couldn’t leave the hotel, and we ended up eating at the restaurant, which has great pizzas, burgers, and pasta. I would definitely stay here again! We really loved it!

Dit is een prachtige locatie met veel potentieel maar een vergane glorie (waardoor redelijke prijs voor een resort waarschijnlijk, maar toch). De luchthaventransfer is zeer goed. Nick die Engelstalig is ontvangt je met open armen. Een lekker ontbijt. Grote ruime kamers met balkon en zeezicht. Geweldig privé strand. Volledig afgebakend. Heel handig om een scooter te huren en zo het eiland te verkennen. Telkens een

Het hotel heeft veel potentieel maar is vergane glorie. De kamers zijn wel gepoetst maar er zijn vlekken op muren en zetels : uitgeleefd. Dit is ook zo in de lobby. Het zwembad is heel mooi en prachtig zicht maar het water is niet helder/veel algen aan de zijkant. Het eten ‘s avonds wordt erg afgeraden. De trappenhal gebruikten we geregeld :iedere dag lagen er extra dode libellen of andere krekels en de vorige werden niet opgeveegd. De eerste ochtend werden we al om 8u15 gevraagd om onze kamer te verlaten zodat men kon poetsen terwijl het ontbijt nog tot 9u30 was. Iedere nacht ging er een alarm af aan onze deur. Als je het slot opent en terug toe deed was het opgelost maar voor een slechte slaper als mezelf is dit dramatisch voor mijn nachtrust.

Hôtel très agréable où nous avons été très bien reçu par Nick. C’était très calme en ce mois d’août. Piscine exceptionnelle avec vue magnifique. Très bon petit déjeuner. Scooters parfait pour découvrir l’île.

The location of the property on its own private bay is incredible. If you want privacy and nature this place has it. The hotel also offers reasonably priced motorbikes to get you around. Great beaches are within 10 minute rides and the town is a very enjoyable 20 minute ride away. If you’re English speaking the incredible Nick will also help to make your stay a memorable one!
Not much to dislike except for lack of gym for me. The property owners could invest in snorkelling equipment that works well and stronger air conditioning in common dining areas.

We stayed at room 507, the view was stunning and the room was big and extra clean. We enjoyed the swimming pool with one of the best place to drink cocktails and hear the waves. Special mention to Nick who was so friendly and helpful.

Die Unterkunft ist in keinem guten Zustand. Die Einrichtung ist ungepflegt und unsauber. Es wird nicht richtig gereinigt oder im Detail geschaut, mit gewissen Maßnahmen könnte man dies verbessern. Im Treppenhaus liegt Fledermaus Kot. An vielen Stellen wird die Klimaanlage nicht eingeschaltet, der Pool sieht schön aus aber hat Algen an den Rändern. Ich finde es sehr schade weil das Resort hat freundliche Mitarbeiter und die Insel generell ist so schön und hat sich noch den vietnamesischen Charme behalten.

The location of the property is excellent. Perfectly situated in a cove, with a beautiful beach. The property offers stunning views over the mountains and sea. The property is a short 10 minute ride by bike in to the centre of the town.

I recently stayed at Orson Hotel in Côn Đảo and had a truly relaxing experience. The resort is beautifully designed with a peaceful, natural setting that immediately puts you at ease. Everything felt calm, quiet, and perfect for a getaway from the busy world.
The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-kept, and I especially enjoyed the open views and fresh sea breeze.
What I appreciated most was the peaceful atmosphere — it never felt crowded or noisy. If you’re looking for a quiet place to recharge and enjoy Côn Đảo’s natural beauty, I would definitely recommend Orson Hotel.

This is an absolutely lovely hotel within the most beautiful location imaginable. The staff are wonderful and friendly. The food choices from the chef are all delicious. It has a very large infinity pool overlooking their own private beach.

Ruoka oli erinomaista. Infinity pool pihalla oli iso, hieno ja ja puhdas. Merenranta aivan vieressä, ja täydellisen upea. Henkilökunta oli erittäin ystävällistä ja palvelu erinomaista.

Im Pool fehlte die Abdeckung der Ansaugöffnung im Whirlpool Bereich so das meine Verlobte mit dem Bein angesaugt wurde und sich einen Bluterguss zuzog. Wir haben das Personal darauf angesprochen und dies versprach dies zu beseitigen. Leider ist dieses Hotel nicht Rollstuhl gerecht. Zum Strand kommt man mit dem Rollstuhl garnicht, so dass nur tragen hilft. Die Aussenanlagen in Strandnähe sind nicht in Schuss gehalten, so dass die Wege und deren Beleuchtung eigentlich nur rudimentär vorhanden ist.

Petit déjeuné incroyable, il y a tout ce que vous voulez et même les croissants ressemblent à des viennoiseries françaises.
La plage est belle, sans plastique comparée à beaucoup d'autres sur l'île. Snorkeling à faire, il y a plein de poissons !
La location de scooter est nécessaire car l'hôtel est excentré mais c'est pas cher.

Hotel com uma localização linda numa baia muito sossegada onde é delicioso nadar.A vista da praia é relaxante com o Hotel muito bem integrado nas montanhas. Na maré alta apesar do areal desaparecer a baia transforma -se numa piscina natural lindíssima .A piscina do hotel da diretamente para a praia e é fantastica.
Comodidades no hotel e simpatia dos funcionários com nota muito alta.
Nick Nguen falando corretamente inglês está sempre presente ajudando todos os hóspedes em tudo que precisam durante a estadia.
Sentimo nos muito confortáveis e relaxados.
Nao sendo um problema particular do Hotel mas um problema de toda a Ásia, o aparecimento de plásticos no mar que se acumulam na Costa é um ponto negativo.. Neste Hotel a praia está limpa mas na maré cheia a vinda dos plásticos é sempre incontornável. Penso que é uma situação que deve ser levada muito a sério e que tanto o Orson como todos os hoteis deveriam investir ainda mais na recolha de todo o lixo ,usando barcos com redes e limpeza intensiva e diária de todas as praias.

De mensen die hier werken zijn super vriendelijk en staan altijd klaar om je te helpen. Ook kun je gezellig met ze babbelen en lachen, hele leuke en chille medewerkers! Het resort ligt als enige in deze baai en dat neemt een aanzienlijke rust met zich mee. Het is werkelijkwaar prachtig! Het voelt alsof je in het paradijs bent, zo mooi! Ontbijtbuffet is zeer goed en ook de menu kaart voor lunch en diner is zeer uitgebreid en goed. Mogelijkheid om scooters te huren is ook fijn! De kamer is ruim en heeft een groot balkon; perfect!

Although the hotel is a little out of the way, we had an excellent time there. The view is incredible, the staff attentive, and we enjoyed having dinner there one evening, for a cost that was not exorbitant. We recommend it. Perhaps a little lacking in entertainment, especially in the evening....

Es war so schön am Strand gelegen mit super Ausblick auf die Berge und Meer.

magnifique ! hotel au calme, une plage ou nous sommes carrément seul, une piscine magnifique !!!! chambre canon, personnel très professionnel et aux petits soins
petit dej excellents et très copieux, restaurant très bon
en résumé il n'y a carrément pas de fausse note, juste un tout petit truc qui a aussi ses avantages. Suite aux marées, il n'y a pas de plage a marée haute.. ce qui laisse quand même 6h de plage/jour et qui permet d'avoir une plage très nature, sans transat et autre parasol
pour infos quand nous y étions en saison basse
restez comme ça changez rien, juste peut etre un peu plus de personnel qui parle un peu anglais :-)

Die Lage auf der Insel Con Dao war etwas einsam außerhalb der Ortschaft. Man muß ein Taxi oder einen Motorroller nutzen, um in den Ort zu kommen. Dafür war es extrem ruhig. Das Hotel war nur bei unserem Aufenthalt mit 8 Personen belegt. Trotzdem gab es ein reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet mit frisch zubereiteten Eierspeisen. Das Zimmer war riesig mit einem sehr großen eingezogenen Balkon mit herrlichem Blick auf den Pool und das Meer. Klimaanlage war nicht nötig, da die Temperaturen bei geöffneter Balkontür im Zimmer sehr angenehm waren. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und gut eingerichtet. Das Personal war trotz kleiner Sprachprobleme sehr hilfreich und ging auf Wünsche und Fragen sehr entgegenkommend ein. Es gab viel dienstbare Geister. Die Bar ist riesig.
Das Hotel bietet recht preiswert Motorroller an, um in die Stadt zu kommen.
Der Pool war sehr groß, schön und sauber. Kein Chlorgeruch zu bemerken.

Der liebenswerte Hotelmanager (Nick), der sehr um seine Gäste bemüht war.
Die freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Angestellten trotz der Sprachbarriere.
Es ist/war ein Ort die Seele baumeln zu lassen, da das Hotel nicht voll belegt war.
Sicherlich etwas anders bei Vollbelegung.
Es liegt außerhalb des Zentrums, was als Nachteil empfunden werden könnte. Allerdings kann man vor Ort Scooter mieten und es gibt einen Shuttleservice. Was allerdings eher positiv ist. I

Friendly stuff, huge and nice pool, private clean and nice beach, nice rooms, nice balcony with sea view. Some of the stuff speak good english and can give very good tips.
You have to know that you have to drive 10‘ with the scooter to get to town. The food in the hotel could be better (its also bit expensive).

Absolutely stunning stretch of beach with very lively coral not far off shore. Gorgeous building nestled in a fairly quiet part of the island.

Huge room with a comfortable bed and a really beautiful view of the Ocean and surrounding landscape. We loved the private beach which we had all to ourselves as we visited during low season.

Orson’s Hotel is quite far from the city center, but it is a great place to relax, unwind, and meditate. I spent four wonderful nights with my friends in this magical place, and I am grateful to all the hotel staff. Everyone was very attentive and polite. Special thanks to Nick, who made these days even more beautiful. Thank you, Nick—you are truly the face of this hotel, and I appreciate you taking care of us.

Camera molto ampia e luminosa e vista fronte mare bellissima. Colazione ok. Comodo il noleggio scooter direttamente in struttura. Apprezzato il servizio navetta dal porto/ aeroporto gratuito.
La struttura è molto distante dal centro, ma se avessero tutti i servizi attivi non sarebbe un problema. Il posto è molto grande e avrebbe un enorme potenziale. Purtroppo si denota un forte declino della struttura. Molte aree non sono terminate. Nessuno parla inglese!! L’unico che è stato utile per il suo inglese è stato Nick. Il resto dello staff non Comprendevano neanche concetto molto semplici tipo: “dov’è il bagno?” In un resort di questo genere non è accettabile! Dovrebbero far fare loro dei corsi base! Una sera abbiamo chiesto del semplice pane perché il ristorante era chiuso. Abbiamo scoperto che il cibo non viene neanche fatto in struttura ma viene preso a 10km dal centro e portato in struttura. Abbiamo aspettano ben 40 minuti per avere due baguette vuote e ci sono stati addebitati ben 10€ (un prezzo altissimo per il Vietnam). Anche i servizi proposti come Wi-Fi molto scadenti. Purtroppo necessitavamo di un buon segnale per ricevere mail ed il programma di scuola di mio figlio. In camera zero segnale e zero compartura di rete. Siamo stati contretti ad usare le aree comuni, ma per il prezzo che abbiamo pagato avremmo voluto avere il servizio in camera del Wi-Fi. Lo staff non si impegna molto nel occupare “tempi morti”: tutto il tempo con il telefono in mano e non bada alle richieste. Una mattina siamo stati in piscina , alla sera c’erano ancora i nostri bicchieri sulle sdraio. Il resort è molto bello ma sembra una struttura “fantasma”.

The location is spectacular.

Il ristorante pessimo e carissimo rispetto ai prezzi locali, anche di ottimi ristoranti. impossibile comunicare con lo staff, anche con il traduttore. Al mattino Molto rumoroso a causa dello staff e degli ospiti, rimbombava tutto. Struttura enorme e poco curata, a parte la lobby.

Fantastiskt läge vid havet. Ligger lite i lä när de blåser kraftigt, stränderna inne i samhället gick inte att vara på vissa dagar, medan stranden hos oss gick att bada på. Egen strand o egen pool. Vacker utsikt från egen balkong på rummen. Bra rum med städning i toppklass. Alltid rena handdukar o badrockar. Frukosten var delvis bra. Möjlighet att få underbara omeletter o ägg uppstekt varje dag. I övrigt fanns massor av varmrätter för den som äter varmt till frukost. Hyffsad tillgång på färsk frukt. Juice var dåligt, vill påstå att av 12 dagar så 10 dagar fanns endast saft till frukost. Rum med fantastisk utsikt och bra städning. Kyl på rummet som var fylld med öl o läsk mot betalning. Inga problem att fylla på med egen dryck. Inventering o betalning av kylinnehåll vid utcheckning. Personalen verkade vilja vara serviceminded, men språkbrister gjorde att de ofta gick fel. Duktig kille vid poolen o stranden som bar ut dynor o stolar till alla. Mopeduthyrning på hotellet så man kunde göra turer till staden ca 7 km bort.
Frukosten var som en västerländsk middag, mycket varmrätter. Äter man inte varmrätter så fanns frukt i olika mängd olika dagar. Vissa dagar bra med frukt andra lite fattigt. Vi försökte verkligen äta på hotellet, men stod inte ut med alla missförstånd och långsamma servicen. Förbeställde meny till middag 7 PM redan 5 PM på inrådan av personalen. När vi kom till middagen fanns maten där, men var kall. Synd då maten var helt OK. Detta hände 2 ggr, sedan tog vi moped in till stan o åt på kvällarna. Tog alltid lång tid att få mat o dryck man beställde, förstår inte vad personalen gjorde för att allt skulle ta tid. Solstolar o annat borde fräschas upp, rost, trasigt o smutsigt. Alger längs sidorna i poolen. Jag har inte hört nå¨gon som är 100% nöjd med Orson, men flera gäster hade testat att bo inne i stan och tyckte ändå att Orson var bättre. Detta kanske säger lite om kvaliteten på boenden på Con Dao när hotell som Six Senses får undermåliga betyg.

Das Hotel ist ein großes, in die Jahre gekommenes Gebäude. Die Fenster im Gebäude waren sehr schmutzig. Das Hotel wirkte dunkel und unfreundlich. Die Zimmer sind abgewohnt. In unserem Zimmer roch es nach Schimmel, die Tapeten haben sich von den Wänden abgelöst. Die Liegen am Pool waren mehrheitlich beschädigt und der Strandzugang ungepflegt. Die Poolbar, Rooftopbar und das Fitness Studio waren nicht in Betrieb. Die Bilder auf der Webseite spiegeln nicht die Realität und sind unserer Meinung nach sehr geschönt. Wir sind nach einer Nacht wieder abgereist und haben das Hotel gewechselt.

Beautiful and very quiet location. Very pleasant balcony.

Skvělé místo, pokud chce člověk klid a pohodu ideální místo od veškeré civilizace. Personál v hotelu je skvělý. Jo bazén je skvělý.
Hotel má nejlepší roky za sebou, ale na Con Dao se nejezdí za ubytováním ale za ostrovem 👍

There is a private beach, usable on low tide which for us was noon, on high tide there is no sand beach. Very nice personnel, possibility to rent a scooter, and with scooter the road from center is actually very nice to drive. I do prefer this location to the center as the center is a bit dull

Le personnel est très gentil et disponible. La piscine est géniale, une vraie grande piscine pour faire des longueurs et se détendre. L'hôtel est situé dans un emplacement bien au calme à 9km du centre ville en moto.
Un peu loin du centre si on aime être près de la ville. Le personnel même si il est adorable, apprendre l'anglais est indispensable pour mieux communiquer avec les clients.

La chambre est spacieuse et confortable, salle de bain également + balcon vue sur mer. Plage privée et piscine très belles. Scooter en location, nécessaire pour rejoindre le centre.
Transfert aéroport-hôtel gratuit.
Personne ne parle anglais. Difficile de passer une commande, même quand ce qu'on demande est dans leur menu. Laundry aussi chère qu'en Europe, aller en ville si vous souhaitez la faire. Pas de salle de gym (juste une machine cassée et rouillée dehors).

The bay that it is located in is beautiful, although be aware that you can only swim in the sea at low tide.
In general, my room, which was ocean facing with a balcony, was very nice, it just had a few little problems like a strange smell that I would notice when I first entered the room, the door wouldn't shut without me pulling up a bit on the doorknob, the cabinet door to the fridge also needed help, and a drawer at a writing desk would open up on its own as the desk was slanted.
The pool was lovely, but as I have seen on other reviews, it needs a good cleaning as there was some algae on the tiles on the walls of the pool. It had a very strange toilet/shower by the pool too...with a huge room with a toilet all by itself in the corner. There was no door to stop anyone from coming in while you might be doing your business...
The scooter rental was great. 150k dong for the day.
The shuttle service to and from the airport was also good.
The staff was kind of pleasant, but they need some more training. If you want to be a 4 star hotel with Western clients, things like clearing the tables at breakfast, lunch and dinner need to be more prompt. One breakfast buffet I walked in and there were only half of the tables occupied, but there was only one table to choose from as the rest of them had dirty dishes on them. They have an egg station at the buffet, but even though there weren't many people dining, the lady would pre-cook eggs and an omelette, which weren't under a heat lamp, so you often received a cold dish. It's the only place in Vietnam where the egg station wasn't cooked to order. One dinner I ordered mushroom carbonara and the menu stated that it had ham and bacon, but it only came with mushrooms. I complained, a manager came over (the first one I saw since I was there) and they sent it back and gave me a new one that was better. It wasn't quite worth the Western price that they charged...but better. However, I would have thought that the manager would come by and check on me, that everything was good...but I didn't see him again. At that dinner too, 1/3 of the tables had dirty dishes on them and there were 3 staff and the manager standing/sitting by the bar, not bothering to clear them. Kinda ruins the ambience. And you are kind of stuck with what they give you as the nearest restaurant is 10 km away in town. The resort seems like it would have been amazing 25 years ago, but not much upkeep has happened since. There's paint peeling on the outside of the building and chipped marble stairs. There's supposed to be a "Sky Bar" on the 5th floor but that is not operational and seems to be under some repair. Same with the pool, there are seats in the pool to have a pool bar, but it is not in operation. This place could be good again...but some effort and investment is required by the owners

Großes Zimmer und großer Balkon mit Blick auf das Meer. Alles war sauber. Ruhige Lage außerhalb des Dorfes, welches man einfach per Roller erreichen kann.
Obwohl wir einen Roller am Abend vorher angefragt hatten, waren am nächsten Morgen alle Roller bereits weg. Der Rezeptionist konnte aber einen Ersatzroller für uns besorgen. Auch haben wir den Flughafenshuttle am Vorabend beim Hotelmanager persönlich angefragt und beim Check-out musste spontan ein Shuttle arrangiert werden, trotz Zeitdruck haben wir zum Schluss den Flughafen pünktlich erreicht.
Obwohl wir einen Roller am Abend vorher angefragt hatten, waren am nächsten Morgen alle Roller bereits weg. Der Rezeptionist konnte aber einen Ersatzroller für uns besorgen. Auch haben wir den Flughafenshuttle am Vorabend beim Hotelmanager persönlich angefragt und beim Check-out musste spontan ein Shuttle arrangiert werden, trotz Zeitdruck haben wir zum Schluss den Flughafen pünktlich erreicht.

De ligging was geweldig, de kamers zijn mooi en ruim. Het uitzicht op de berg was spectaculair. Het personeel doet z’n best en het ontbijtbuffet was uitgebreid.
Het lijkt alsof het hotel tegelijkertijd niet af is en al half verlaten. We waren er in de kerstvakantie en het was heel rustig. Er is veel achterstallig onderhoud; algen in het zwembad, kapot meubilair bij het zwembad, lekkende douche, te weinig scooters (en kapotte helmen) om mee de stad in te gaan.

Wunderbare Lage mit schönem Pool und kleinem Strand.
Vollkommen überzogene Essenspreise und dafür schlechte Qualität. Personal sehr freundlich aber spricht kein Wort Englisch meistens.

The staff, as some other reviews mentioned, not all of them speak English, but they are great, so just have your phone on you and use a translator app 👍

The hotel is very comfortable and has everything you need to have a relaxing stay. It is not very close to the city but you can rent a motorbike for half a day (70k vnd) or a full day (150k vnd). Or take a taxi for 200kvnd one way. There is also a free shuttle in the morning and in the afternoon and free round trip airport transfer. The food for breakfast is quite good, there is a wide range of choices, for everyone. But what is really great is the effort the staff puts in to go the extra mile and make our stay as pleasant as possible. I really appreciated the human touch, it is very valuable. Thank you for making our stay very enjoyable for my whole family.

De locatie was geniaal, helemaal in het groen en heel erg rustig. Wij vonden dat heel fijn. Ook heeft het resort een eigen (zand)strandje waar je heerlijk in de zee kan zwemmen. Het (infinity)zwembad is geweldig, ‘s avonds mooi verlicht en heel de dag relaxte muziek. Ze zetten ook de jacuzzi voor je aan. Het personeel is heel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Wij voelden ons heel erg welkom. Onze kamer had een geweldig uitzicht op de zee en de bergen. Het eten, zowel diner als ontbijt, was heel erg goed! Uitstekend gegeten. Scooter huurden we voor 150k per dag, je krijgt zelfs korting als je na 12u huurt. Met een kwartier ben je in het centrum. Ze zorgen er ook voor dat je op tijd weer op het vliegveld bent.

Die Zimmer sind okay und die Umgebung ist sehr schön. Der Shuttle Service war gut.
Leider war dies unsere schlechteste Hotel Erfahrung. Das Hotel ist schon stark in die Jahre gekommen und müsste dringend renoviert werden. Viele Leistungen sind überhaupt nicht vorhanden, obwohl vermerkt auf Webseite und booking. Es gibt kein Gym, keine Poolbar und keine Sunset bar. Das essen war wirklich grauenhaft und dann noch Preise wie in Europa. Der Service war nicht vorhanden. Die Mitarbeiter haben eher gewirkt als störe man sie in ihrem Haus und belaste sie mit Aufgaben. Man wartet dann auch ewig auf essen und Getränke obwohl nichts los ist (30 min für einen Smoothie zum Beispiel). Auch der Wäsche Service ist unfassbar teuer und am Ende kamen sogar einige Teile schmutziger zurück als sie vorher waren, die Flecken gingen auch kaum mehr raus. Der Pool liegt eigentlich sehr schön am Meer aber auch dieser war leider dreckig (algig). Durch die einsame Lage (aber sehr schön muss man trotzdem sagen) muss man mindestens 20 min mit dem Roller oder Taxi in die Stadt fahren um an etwas essbares zu kommen. Da weder Frühstück, noch Mittag oder Abendessen genießbar waren, mussten wir trotz Regen und Sturm den Weg auf uns nehmen. Es gibt deutlich bessere Hotels innerhalb der Stadt. Dieses können wir so auf gar keinen Fall empfehlen!

Our kids loved the pool, it was stunning. The secluded location, the private beach, the comfortable big room with great ocean views and balcony, the shower and bathtub, scooter hire (needed to get to town), free airport transfer...
We were there during low occupancy so didn't receive the full buffet breakfast every day or any poolside service - would love to see this beautiful hotel in full swing with swim-in bar, cocktails etc

Die einsame ruhige Lage. Super freundliches Team. Und der Ausblick auf den Ozean. Der große warme Pool und der unkomplizierte direkte Zugang zum Ozean mit Sandstrand und schön zum schwimmen

Das Hotel war ansprechend ausgestattet. Pool, Zimmer groß und sauber, toller Ausblick, Frühstück wenn in Buffetform sehr gut
Das Personal ist langsam und nicht aufmerksam. Das Hotel liegt außerhalb der Stadt. Um nach dort zu gelangen habe ich nen Roller gemietet (ca 15min) fahrt. Preis-Leistung passt nicht zusammen. Auf dem Festland habe ich für die Hälfte des Geldes einen gleichwertigen Service erhalten. Menüoptionen zum Abendessen zum Teil nur für 2 Personen. Ca. 2/3 der Coktailkarte konnte Aufgrund fehlender Getränke nicht zubereitet werden. Sandstrand gab es nicht. Zugang zum Meer war Betoniert. Viele Felsen. Keine Auswahl an Aktivitäten. Man wird sehr alleine gelassen.

Great view to the sea from the hotel room, helpful staff, delicious foods, daily cleaning. The infinity pool is fantastic, the hotel was not overcrowded so we could relax.
There were a few constructional mistakes in the room: the water was not flowing towards the drain in the shower instead flow to the room. The window was not closing properly, the corrosion cause degradation in the door and deformed. Except the receptionists the staff didn't understand English language.

its a nice location. Friendly staff but most of them dont understand english. They offer fantastic tours.

Hồ bơi rộng đẹp, sạch.
Phòng view đẹp, có ban công nhìn trực diện biển.
Giường êm.
Nhân viên phục vụ ổn.
Điều hoà không mát. Mình đã nhờ hỗ trợ 3 lần nhưng vẫn ko mát. Nhiệt độ set up 23 độ nhưng trong phòng khoảng 29 độ. Chăn nệm thì dày như ở xứ lạnh mà nhiệt độ phòng vậy chịu không nổi, đổ mồ hôi ướt người ngủ không thoải mái. Nền gạch rít chân, không biết do lau không sạch hay do gió biển nên vậy.
Điều hoà không mát. Mình đã nhờ hỗ trợ 3 lần nhưng vẫn ko mát. Nhiệt độ set up 23 độ nhưng trong phòng khoảng 29 độ. Chăn nệm thì dày như ở xứ lạnh mà nhiệt độ phòng vậy chịu không nổi, đổ mồ hôi ướt người ngủ không thoải mái. Nền gạch rít chân, không biết do lau không sạch hay do gió biển nên vậy.

The view from the rooms is beautiful,the rooms are big and spacious.The breakfast is good,have many options
It is mold everywhere which makes it impossible to breathe,the rooms are old,they need refreshment.Because it is far from the center,there are no other places to go only with the taxi

Das Hotel ist veraltet und gehört renoviert. Die Bilder bei Booking entspricht nicht der
Realität. Esstühle im Frühstücksraum, Couch und Vorhänge im Zimmmer sind verschmutzt.
Obwohl bei Booking steht dass ein Fitnessraum angeboten wird ,war
keine vorhanden. Das Personal ist bemüht aber nicht jeder spricht Englisch. Mittag-oder
Abendessen dauert ziemlich lange ca 40 min. bis das Essen serviert
wird. Ganz gut war das Frühstück und der Pool.

Tout! J’ai vraiment adoré l’emplacement un peu loin avec la plage privée, une vue incroyable depuis ma chambre, la piscine, l’attention et la disponibilité du personnel.

Tolles Hotel, sehr idyllisch gelegen. Großer schöner Pool, herrlicher Privatstrand. Rollermiete möglich, damit waren wir ganz flexibel. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Most of stuffs don't speak English, but they are always helpful and honest.
In the restaurant at the Dinner time, it took a long time for serving, after getting an order. There are big air conditioners, but never worked then very hot in the restaurant. ECO⁉

There is no beach just a very dirty broken pool
We left after the first night my daughters couldn't breathe from the mold
They obviously refunded us the remainder of our stay after we showed pictures

Location is beautiful and relaxing.
No access to a spa at the location! No Room Service! Its great having access to the sea, but attempting to walk on rocks felt unsafe and dangerous as there was no lifeguards on duty. I would recommend the hotel cleans up the beach by clearing some rocks to make a clear path for people wanting to swim in the ocean.

The pool was amazing .beach is very rocky to get to so hard to swim

Room, Bed and shower were great. Good service in motorbike renting. Flexible and fair costs. Breakfast was simple (due to less people stayed in our period.
Distance is a bit far if you like to be close to city. For rest and quite it's perfect place.

The location is amazingly tranquil and peaceful nested between mountains and the sea. The staff is very friendly. The private beach is beautiful. I also like the swimming pool.
It seems like they are unable to keep up with maintenance. The restaurant offers limited choices and the lighting was boring. Breakfast buffet was below average. No on-site entertainments in the evening.

El hotel es súper bonito, todo bien cuidado, y había muy poca gente en el hotel, y el personal muy amable.
Aunque teníamos un ventanal enorme y unas vistas espectaculares nos hubiera gustado tener balcón. El personal tarda mucho en recoger las cosas del bar y se llena la mesa de hormigas.

Die Struktur ist sehr schön und ruhig, wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer mit Blick aufs Meer. Wir haben uns Mofas gemietet, damit kann man ganz einfach die Insel erkunden.
Es gab an ein paar Tage Frühstuck a la carte, leider konnte keinen der Kellner beim Frühstück englisch und das Menü war nur auf vietnamesisch.

Mọi thứ thật tuyệt vời từ nhân viên cho đến mọi tiện ích. Khách sạn sẽ đem bữa sáng đến tận phòng nếu bạn không thể xuống ăn vì một lí do nào đó. Tôi rất ấn tượng.
Không có điều gì khiến tôi không thích cả. Vị trí khách sạn có thể hơi xa nhưng điều đó không quan trọng khi bạn chẳng bao giờ kẹt xe ở Phú Quốc

What makes this resort stand out really is the pool, beach and location. Location was good for us as we didn't want to stay in the city centre like we did during our previous stay so we very much enjoyed the quiet Location and it's small beach with crystal clear water. Overall the resort is fine with all the necessary necesities but a bit run down. We speak vietnamese so it was easy to communicate with the staff and we didn't have any issue in terms of requests etc. We enjoyed the smoothies prepared at the bar too. Room was very quiet so we slept well.
The room is spacious but very modest in terms of decoration, it could be much better. But what I didn't like was that it took ages for the staff to clean up room service in the corridor (there was a tray outside a room left there for 2 days) and to also clean up at the pool. There were always dirty glasses left there during the entire day or dirty pool towels. It's not like the hotel is full so could definitely do better of the cleanliness.

We loved our stay at the Orson! The pool was exceptional, and the private beach was also lovely. The restaurant was great, the staff were fantastic and very accommodating. The hotel is not within walking distance to anything, but the location is superb if you’re happy to rent a moped / take taxi’s into town / hang out by the pool all day! We rented mopeds from the hotel, it was very reasonably priced and great fun.
Our shower had no curtain, and the bathtub wasn’t effectively sealed at the wall, so pools of water would flood the bathroom every time we showered. Worth noting that the laundry service is shockingly expensive - this perhaps is common practice in some hotels, but the pricing was itemised, down to the socks! This would add up hugely if you had a whole load of laundry to do.

The location was fantastic, beautifully situated near the town, beautiful private beach and swimming pool, staff were fantastic and always willing to go the extra mile.Also the pickup and drop off at the port Nick was especially helpful and friendly and very informative as what to do and where to go.
Breakfast in the morning was a bit strange as I am not sure if tbe chef understood what we asked for, but was still okay

Widok z okna, plaża, smaczne śniadania. Obsługa bardzo pomocna, łącznie z Dyrektorem hotelu, który okazywał zainteresowanie swoim gościom. Polecam pokój od strony morza. Większa odległość od miasta jest zdecydowanie na plus.
Wizyta w hotelu poza weekendem ma tę zaletę, że jest dość mało gości ( przynajmniej tak było w trakcie naszego pobytu) a co za tym idzie, pusty basen, spokój na śniadaniach i ogólna cisza.
Zdaję sobie sprawę z tego, że goście z Europy zdarzają się nieczęsto, ale można by poprawić komunikację obsługi restauracji w języku angielskim. Poza tym, zbyt długi czas oczekiwania na zamawiane posiłki.

Die Lage ist sehr schön, eigener Meerzugang, Aussicht von den Zimmer herrlich und total ruhig (allerdings auch keine Restaurants… in der Nähe).

The room and bar staff were lovely, so I was conflicted giving staff such a low mark.
However, the receptionist was incredibly rude and had a very poor attitude towards us. It made every bit of our stay more difficult from renting bikes, to getting overcharged, to just an uncomfortable and unpleasant feeling sitting downstairs. On the last evening, we had one extra friend turn up. So we paid 1.8million extra and yet got absolutely no further facilities for her. Despite booking.com saying we had a room with breakfast, the receptionist would only allow us breakfast on the first day and wouldn’t explain to us why.

Gorgeous surroundings and pool area. Staff were friendly and helpful in renting a motorbike and even gave me some Panadol when I felt ill as the only pharmacy on the island was shut. The food I ordered at the restaurant / bar was lovely.
The air con barely had any effect - they must know this as there was a fan in the room. I spent my stay absolutely sweating and it was very uncomfortable. When it’s 30 degrees outside, you need some respite. The other issue was that the shower leaked and the entire bathroom floor would become wet. This was slippery and could cause an accident. I had a look at the reviews since leaving and these issues have been mentioned a few times; they really should be actioned. It’s a shame because those issues aside I had a lovely stay.

das Hotel ist vielleicht schon ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, die Zimmer ein wenig spartanisch - aber dieses (kleine) Manko wird durch die Vorzüge von Con Son aufgewogen.

Brilliant location, good breakfast, large pool, clear sea and quite good snorkeling for Vietnam. Great staff, comfortable rooms with all amenities.

Con Dao is very, very beautiful. And the location of the Hotel is ideal if what you are looking for is tranquility. It is about 5 km from the only town on the island of Con Son. You will need a scooter to get around. But you will still need a scooter to get around the island, whatever hotel you choose for your stay. The bay in front of the hotel is very pretty, with its private beach. The small Bãi Nhát beach about 2 km east of the resort is also very beautiful: perhaps one of the most beautiful spots in the entire Con Dao. The Hotel has all the essential services, has beautiful rooms (we had chosen an Ocean View), and the quality of the services is OK for a Hotel of that category (considering the context: you are in Vietnam and you are on a small island ...). A fair amount of the staff speaks English and everyone is very kind and friendly
The quality and standard of the breakfast could perhaps be improved. Even the level of cleanliness is not exactly excellent (we cleaned the shower drain ourselves; the balcony is not part of the daily room cleaning protocol, so adjust accordingly...). In 3 days of our stay we were unable to obtain instructions for using the safe: in the end we gave up on using it.

Las piscina están muy bien y tenías playa privada, aunque el acceso era de rocas.
La cena era a la carta. Estábamos únicamente nosotros y otra pareja, y tardaron una hora en servirnos los platos. Encima se equivocaron y nos trajeron otro plato totalmente distinto a lo que habíamos pedido. La mayoría del personal no habla inglés, lo que dificulta bastante la comunicación. Sí que es verdad que incluye el transporte al aeropuerto, pero nosotros no tuvimos una buena experiencia. Habíamos quedado a una hora en recepción y estuvimos esperando 20min para que bajaran otros clientes, y el hotel no paraba de darnos largas. Llegamos solo con 15min de antelación para facturar y pasar el control. Fue bastante agobiante.

The view from the swimming pool is perfect. The family room is big, I liked it, everything in the room was in good condition.
Wifi works very poorly, the signal is bad. The bar is also very poor, they didn't have any ice cream, although we stayed 6 days in the hotel, there was no ice cream for my kids during 6 days. The barman works very-very slow. There are always few customers in the bar, but you will wait 30 or 40 minutes for your drink anyway, and even if you will remind the barman about your order, he will not be friendly with you and works slowly, not willing to have any contact with clients, so we had to moved to another places to spent time in the evening instead to stay in the hotel

If you are looking for real Relax ( remote & quite area ) , its best choice for you... Huge room with huge balcony with direct view to the sea...Clean room & facility ... breakfast very good... receptionists & barman really helpful and cooperative. Check in & Check out fast & without problem. Many option for trips around Con Dao Island.. WiFi coverage & speed very good. Transfers from & to Airport ( cca 45 minutes ) without problems.
TV channels could be with more foreign options , food menu is available but many food are not available, so take note. Some of the facility around need more attention ( repair, clean up .. )

Todo, lugar increible, buen trato del personal, no dieron un upgrade a una habitacion superior.
El personal en general no habla ingles, y comprende muy poco. Pocas opciones en restaurente, pedimos comida sin picante e igual fue muy picante, pero nos cambiaron el plato muy amablemente.

Location, private beach, infinity pool, staff, pool table. The staff were really lovely and Nic who did mornings in the breakfast area spoke English and super helpful everyday.
It was a little tired and a little scruffy in places and not enough wardrobe space or drawers in bedroom. And not enough plugs

La vue mer, la piscine à débordement.
L'incompétence générale du personnel. Pour exemples durant 2 jours, toilettes bouchées et il a fallu réclamer à 3 reprises pour les déboucher. Oubli de nettoyer la suite. Disparition des peignoirs de bain au 2ème jour. Oublis (c'est arrivé 2 fois!!!) des commandes de déjeuner alors que nous étions 2 tables à servir. Tapage nocturne durant 1h30 sans réaction de la réception. Aucun geste commercial de la direction. Anglais très peu parlé par le personnel sinon 1 femme de la réception. Heureusement qu'elle était là. Petit déjeuner pour les asiatiques. Très peu pour les occidentaux. C'est un hôtel pour les vietnamiens.

La situación es muy buena y tranquila. La piscina es excelente. Servicio de alquiler de motos (150k día, algo más caro que en otros sitios, pero aceptable, y también necesario). La cama de nuestra habitación con vistas al mar y a la montaña era muy cómoda. Recomendaría reservar con vistas al mar como mínimo.
La comida y los servicios de restauración en general no están al nivel esperado. Considero que el hotel también tenía algunos desperfectos que deben arreglarse y que dan sensación de dejadez y de que está a medio hacer o aún con algunas partes en construcción. El nivel de inglés de la mayoría del personal es muy bajo y no entienden ni lo más básico.
La comida y los servicios de restauración en general no están al nivel esperado. Considero que el hotel también tenía algunos desperfectos que deben arreglarse y que dan sensación de dejadez y de que está a medio hacer o aún con algunas partes en construcción. El nivel de inglés de la mayoría del personal es muy bajo y no entienden ni lo más básico.

Die Lage des Hotel ist traumhaft. Das Zimmer war sehr ruhig. Der Strand direkt vor dem Hotel. Kostenloser Transfer vom und zum Flughafen. Hotel vermietet auch Motorräder.
Das Frühstück ist eher ein Mittagessen und sehr fleischlastig. Wen das nicht stört, für den ist alles perfekt. Das sichere Baden im Meer ist nur bei Ebbe möglich.

Piscine agréable vue sur mer chambre joliment agencée personnel très accueillant .petit déjeuner bcp de choix et variés
Restaurant plat pas à la hauteur des prix ( en comparaison des autres restaurant au Vietnam) les prix sont chers et la qualité des menus proposés très restreint et chers. Vins rose et blanc non mis au frais. L isolement de cet hôtel fait que nous sommes obligés de manger à ce restaurant si non véhiculés.

L'hôtel est grand et propre.
Les chambres sont très spacieuses avec douche et baignoire.

Location de scooters (150 000 VND/j)
Le personnel très lent de manière générale (service bar et restaurant) et ne comprenant pas l'anglais, difficile de toujours se comprendre. L'emplacement de l'hôtel , super si l'on veut être au calme mais sinon éloigné de tout (l'hôtel propose néanmoins des scooters). L'équipement autour piscine non terminé, le pool bar inexistant ou fermé, les transats peu nombreux et la moitié en mauvais état. Aucun service de boissons / snacks en extérieur, la cour vide non exploitée , c'est dommage. Aucune activité proposée par l'hôtel (en tout cas si l'on ne demande pas) c'est dommage, et aucune animation lors de nos 4/5 jours (début mars) : peut être trop hors saison ?

L'équipement autour piscine non terminé, le pool bar inexistant ou fermé, les transats peu nombreux et la moitié en mauvais état. Aucun service de boissons / snacks en extérieur, la cour vide non exploitée , c'est dommage. Aucune activité proposée par l'hôtel (en tout cas si l'on ne demande pas) c'est dommage, et aucune animation lors de nos 4/5 jours (début mars) : peut être trop hors saison ?

Le petit déjeuner était fantastique, avec une grande variété de plats. Le personnel, très attentionné, a tout fait pour rendre notre séjour agréable. La petite plage, à proximité, était vraiment charmante et offrait des moments de paisibilité qui nous ont détendu. La taille de la piscine, de plus de 40 mètres, était impressionnantes.
La location des scooters est possible à un prix relativement modique.
L'eau de la piscine n'était pas très propre. Ma fille a attrapé une infection de l'oreille, et nous avons été trois à avoir la diarrhée! Il faut penser à filtrer l'eau régulièrement, et aussi à réparer les lampes sur le côté qui laisse voir des fils électriques ! Mes chers hôtes, cette piscine est l'un de vos principaux atouts pour les touristes étrangers, valorisez-le! Par ailleurs, fausse publicité concernant la salle de musculation. La "salle" en question, est une machine de musculation toute rouillée, qui tombe en ruines ! Je pense que ce ne serait pas du luxe de la remplacer, en y ajoutant quelques poids et des tapis sur lesquels on peut courir. En effet, il est impossible de courir ailleurs que sur la route qui longe le littoral, ce qui me paraît un tantinet dangereux. Enfin, il serait judicieux d'entretenir les scooters, pas forcément en super état : freins et suspensions laissent vraiment à désirer.

Großes Zimmer und Blick auf das Meer.
Das Hotel scheint ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen zu sein. Nicht weiter schlimm, aber für das Geld erwarte ich doch etwas mehr. Das Personal arbeitet sehr sehr langsam, obwohl wir fast die einzigen Gäste waren, die bedient werden mussten.

Un endroit incroyable. Une vue sur la mer sublime. Des équipements hauts de gamme. Le personnel est absolument adorable. On mange très bien au restaurant, le petit déjeuner est excellent. La piscine avec vue sur la mer est juste sublime. On peut louer directement à l'hôtel des scooters ( 150 000 vnd la journée soit 5,50 euros environ) et partir à la découverte de l'île. Le centre ville est à 12-15 minutes de scooter.
Je recommande vivement cet hôtel.

The location is amazing with a lovely infinity pool and beyond that steps down to a small private beach with sand when the tide goes out.. The hotel is huge as is the dining room.. It looks like it has the potential to be a 5 star with grand chandeliers in reception. The hotel is clean, the bedrooms are huge with very comfortable beds avd a large balcony with comfortable chairs and a table. Free transfers to and from airport and Felix on reception is very helpful. I nick named it the Overlook Hotel as it was huge and appeared mostly empty..
The lack of friendliness from the staff, rarely a smile and only if you smiled first... very little English spoken except by a couple of reception staff which made ordering food etc a little challenging at times, but the lack of English not a big issue, lack of friendliness is. The breakfasts were absolutely fine with enough Western choices. Evening meals were not fun.. Lack of choice for Western food and the pasta I had wasn't good.. We gave up trying to order wine even though it was on the menu. No atmosphere in the huge empty dining room.. Not a problem as a taxi to town was only approx £6.50 each way.. We put peace and great location over cuisine and ambience and for that reason I'd stay again.. We mixed our 6 night stay in Con Dao with two nights at a fancy hotel in town..

Có bãi biển riêng và đồ ăn ở nhà hàng rất hợp khẩu vị với nhóm mình, ăn sáng tuy ít món nhưng có chọn lọc, ngon.
Mình đã đến đó 1 lần trước đây,lúc đó khách sạn vừa mới hoạt động nên có mùi mình suy nghĩ đã được cải thiện sau 2 năm nhưng mùi phòng hiện tại còn tệ hơn. Nếu khách sạn có thể cho hút mùi trước khi khách nhận phòng hoặc dùng các loại tinh dầu gì đó sẽ ổn nhưng khách sạn không làm🥲🥲

Bữa sáng ngon. Resort mới được sửa chữa lại nên nhìn sạch sẽ. Khách sạn ở xa trung tâm và sân bay nhưng đã được hỗ trợ đưa đón sân bay nên khá hài lòng.
Bộ phận tiếp nhận thủ tục nhận phòng cần cải thiện thái độ. Nhìn chung nếu không có điểm trừ này thì mọi việc hoàn hảo so với mức giá đó

Magnifique plage très propre, piscine avec une superbe vue. Equipe toujours disponible pour apporter un service de qualité. Le cuisinier est aux petits soins pour les clients.

Super Hotel in einer wunderschönen Bucht!!! Die Lage ist zwar ein bisschen vom Zentrum entfernt aber wenn man einen Roller mietet ist es einfach perfekt!! Für uns das beste Frühstücks Buffet in ganz Vietnam !!! Sehr viel Auswahl !! Und das Zimmer war sehr sauber, rießig mit dem schönsten Ausblick aufs Meer und sogar Netflix inclusive 😉 Vielen Dank für den tollen Aufenthalt !!!

Nous avons demandé de nous servir 2 capuccinos le matin vers 10h , ils ont refusé 🤔 ok’ ..... Le soir nous avons voulu boire 2 cocktails idem, ils on refusé, il a fallu demandé 1 responsable pour parlementer, au final c est mon Mari qui est passé derrière le bar et qui nous les a préparé 😁 Pour un hôtel de se standing c est quand même incroyable

Stunning location, maybe 10 km from the little town. On a secluded bay. Staff is very well-meaning and helpful, though most of them speak limited English. Our room and balcony are huge.

Jest to naprawdę bardzo dobry hotel! 15 min skuterem od miasta, ale to tylko na plus, bo dzięki temu jest tam bardzo cicho, a można wyporzyczyc skuter w hotelu. Prywatna plaza, jest świetna. Polecam zwiąć pokój z widokiem na morze <3

It is located in an amazing very beautiful place. Staff was very helpful.
Hotel is in the remote place so it would be great if there is a shuttle to the nearest town. Also, there are not many activities, they could offer kayaks or a boat for rent to move around.

Outstanding breakfast. Huge choice and delicious. Staff are great - very friendly and very efficient. Room is beautiful. Location is very peaceful with a great beach and lovely scenery around. If you want to get away from it all it's perfect.

Orson hotel is the most beautifully located hotel you could think of. It's the only hotel in a beautiful bay, with its own beach. It also has a great infinity pool with sun beds always available. We had booked a Deluxe Suite for panoramic sea and jungle views and it was worth it. The room was spacious with a large balcony, direct sea view. Its has had some handy amenities like good TV, kettle, bathrobes, toiletries, coffee and tea etc. The room was made everyday at request. The breakfast was tasty and versatile with fresh fruits, eggs made to order plus large selection of asian foods. The hotel rents scooters cheaply.

Die Bucht ist wunderschön und sauber, herrlicher Sonnenuntergang. Ich hoffe es wird so beibehalten & dass weiterhin so auf die Umwelt auch geachtet wird! Am Meer war kaum Plastik (wie ich es sonst von Vietnam leider kenne) und ich hoffe stark darauf, dass das Hotel dies bitte so beibehält.
Das Zimmer hatte eine gute Klimaanlage und der Meerblick war fantastisch. Der infinity pool ist auch sehr gut und gepflegt. Das Personal war freundlich. Die Betten sind äußerst bequem und ich konnte die Woche da super schlafen.
Es ist etwas abgelegen und dafür sind die Preise im Restaurant schon etwas höher.

Great location, fantastic view

Nice location on a quiete island
The Hotel does not fit in the scenery. It looks like a foreign object. You should not build a five storey building on such a beautiful small island.

The rooms were big enough and breakfast buffet was delicious with European and Asian food, snacks.
MINUS: - rated as 4-star hotel but definitely not. It's rather an 3-star. For a 4-star hotel it lacks several basic things. - There was a shortage of staff. This was clearly noticeable. The staff did their best though. - The first room where we stayed 1 night, was a nightmare. Phone and safe didn't work, airco was unstable. First night was without airco. Luckily the phone could be fixed, de safe got a reset but the airco had an error. - When the girl from the reception wanted to give us another room, she asked me to check first before all our luggage would be moved. When the door opened, I saw mold on the wall and refused to stay there. The girl immediately said: "it's molding". Indeed! So why give your guest a room which isn't convenient! - Lazy staff at reception. We rented a motor for half a day. Without checking the safety measures, they gave us 2 helmets. Before we start cruising with the motor, we checked the tank (no explanation or information we should fill the gasoline cause the tank is only filled to ride back and forth to town). 😂 I wouldn't recommanded the hotel cause it's 15 minutes away from the city. There's really nothing much to do in the environment. Further, the hotel looks very sterile from the outside, there is no atmosphere inside. The hallways look cold. The only space which had airco was the restaurant. But we figured since the hotel wasn't fully booked, they had to shut down 1 lift (due to what they said "maintanance" but we didn't see anyone working on it) and also airco in some spaces. That's why the door at the entrance is always open so the wind can come in. No guests means no income. Why would you turn on the airco if it doesn't make any money but cost you money?

This hotel is a diamond in the rough. It may feel a world away but you are still in Vietnam. Staff seem new, and are very eager to please. The pool is pristine, the ocean absolutely fabulous and warm. Restaurant, food very good. We had a lovely chat with the manager during our stay. He explained the resorts history and upcoming plans. Rooms are great. Pick the one with both mountain and sea views, you won’t be disappointed. Overall the corridors, stairwells and some out door areas need some TLC, but the manager is working towards these upgrades.

Die Lage ist traumhaft und die Aussicht vom Balkon ist überwältigend. Zudem war das Zimmer und das Bett recht gross.
Der Aussenpool ist sehr schön und der Strand war sauber.
Das Abendessen war sehr schlecht. Es gab jeweils nur ein Frühstückbuffet, wenn sich genügend Gäste im Hotel befanden (ansonsten konnte man aus einer Auswahl an Speisen wählen, die an den Tisch serviert wurden). Zudem war es auch nicht sonderlich gut. In der näheren Umgebung gibt es keine Restaurants. Wenn man nicht im Hotel essen möchte, muss man in die Stadt fahren. Beim Duschen lief das Wasser nicht richtig ab und überschwemmte das gesamte Badezimmer. Die Poolbar sowie die Rooftop Bar waren geschlossen. Die Liegestühle waren mehrheitlich defekt und müssten dringendst ersetzt werden. Die Duschmöglichkeit sowie die Toilette beim Poolbereich bietet keine Privatsphäre und sieht schäbig aus. Das Hotel entspricht eher einem 3* Hotel. Zudem ist das Hotel in die Jahre gekommen und Teilbereiche müssten saniert werden. Viele Mitarbeitende beherrschen keine Fremdsprache oder hatten nur rudimentäre Englischkenntnisse.

Un site exceptionnel en bord de mer, près d'une petite crique et presque au pied du "pain de sucre" de Con Dao.
Une chambre spacieuse et confortable. un peu vide cependant, avec une grande loggia et vue sur mer.
Une grande piscine à (presque) débordement agrémentée de deux Jacuzzis.
Tout semble parfait sauf que...
... L'ensemble est monumental et froid et se présente comme un arrogant monolithe blanc qui fait tache dans le paysage avec un vaste espace quasi-vide et peu hospitalier à son pied pour rejoindre la piscine. Se voulant "luxueuse" l'architecture intérieure, hall, restaurant et chambres, est dans la même veine glaçante. La plage enfin qui pourrait être un atout incomparable sur une île où pour l'heure très peu d’hôtels ont les pieds dans l'eau est très mal aménagée et éventuellement praticable mais à marée basse uniquement.

Magnifique j'ai adorée. La piscine la chambre le tout était magnifique.
La chambre propre avec la vue mer j'ai adorée, la gentillesse du personnel aussi 😀.
Juste le repas c'est pas assez écrit en anglais dans les souvenirs pas trop de choix vegan

Beautiful beach and pool area. Scooters available to rent to go into town. Area is very peaceful and beautiful. Staff very helpful.
When the weather is bad it’s a bit isolated. Food is pretty good but can get tiresome after too many days.

On an idyllic tropical island paradise, this hotels location in a secluded Cove outside of the town with its own beach, and lovely views is a gem
Not only is the location superb, but the facilities include an excellent infinity ball, well-equipped and well furnished rooms with balconies and stunning views
Staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the food is good. Scooter hire allows you to cover the 8 km into town safely on roads that are pretty nearly deserted.
