Nice quiet location- we had a beach cabin. Pool and view were great.

Definitely not a culture of customer service. Nice service in the restaurant area (and omelette chef) but no incentive to really make it great. We had to pay for a towel- we cleaned up some spilled coffee and they said they couldn’t wash it out. Upon checking out they wanted to charge us for 2 spoons😬- they claimed they were missing from the room. We never use spoons- and we are talking about the cheap stirring spoons- why bother? The restaurant is mediocre and can improve with a little love. Not sure why the resort is eco….

Nous avons passé un séjour incroyable au Phu Quoc Eco Beach Resort ! 🌴🌊 Le cadre est tout simplement magnifique, avec une vue à couper le souffle qui invite à la détente et à l’évasion. Le bungalow était charmant, confortable et très bien entretenu. La literie, bien que simple, était tout à fait confortable. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le calme et l’isolement du lieu, parfaits pour se déconnecter du quotidien et profiter pleinement de la nature. Le personnel est adorable, toujours souriant, accueillant et aux petits soins pour ses clients, ce qui rend le séjour encore plus agréable. La possibilité de profiter directement sur place de ce cadre exceptionnel est un vrai plus. Tout est réuni pour passer un séjour paisible, loin de l’agitation, dans un environnement naturel magnifique. Nous recommandons absolument cet établissement à toutes les personnes qui recherchent un endroit authentique, calme et dépaysant, avec une vue exceptionnelle et un personnel aux petits soins. Une très belle découverte que nous garderons en excellent souvenir ! 🥰

Beautiful resort. Ms. Anna and the staff were exceptional. The rooms, facilities, and food/drinks were amazing. It was a little slice of paradise.

In summary, the resort is absolutely stunning, both in natural location and facilities. We had arranged airport transfer, which was flawless. We arrived at the resort within half an hour of collecting bags. The arrival process felt top notch, and definitely better than the official 3 star rating. Check in was smooth and we were offered iced tea, which was delicious! The beach front bungalow was perfect, plenty of space, and the semi-outdoor bathroom felt really natural and relaxing. We were just a few steps from the private beach, which was really well maintained, and very pretty. We did find that unless you ‘reserved’ sunbeds on the beach early it was a little tricky to find a spot (not loads of spaces). Generally don’t like doing that as it doesn’t feel fair, but would recommend if you want a guaranteed spot. By about 3pm it got less busy. The pool is gorgeous and again very well maintained. The feel of an infinity pool looking over the beach. The coconut trees and all other plants and landscaping adds to the feel of resort very tastefully. We felt that the resort also really achieved its ‘eco’ ethos. No plastic straws, lots of reusable items, no unnecessary plastic or single use items. Really appreciated those things. The in-house restaurant has really nice food, and the staff were so friendly and attentive. The prices are a little inflated compared to non-resort restaurants, but compared to the UK it’s still super affordable. Their crispy spring rolls were the best we tried in Vietnam!

Small niggles along the way included: not being able to get an extra bottle of water without paying. On consideration this felt unreasonable for a luxury resort where you can’t drink the tap water. We had an incident on checkout which was unfortunate. Having taken a cup of tea to the beach a couple of days before, and having left it on the table there (belonging to the resort), it was flagged as ‘missing’ when we checked out. After a prolonged exchange it felt as if we were being accused of stealing, and I had to fill out a form to avoid paying for it. It seemed highly unnecessary bearing in mind it was a small white tea cup in question, which we hadn’t broken or stolen. Mentioning here as I think it’s worth resort management being aware of what effect overly controlling policy can have on customer satisfaction. At the time we felt awful and really quite angry and it was a really unfortunate end to an otherwise idyllic stay. You would imagine that potential reputational damage was far more important to the management than one temporarily misplaced cutlery item. Nonetheless, we loved the resort so much that it is certainly a 9/10

Booked for 2 nights originally, but the beach made us book for another 4 nights. The beach is the selling point for this hotel. It’s clean, calm waters and a beautiful place to while away the day. The infinity pool is also very nice overlooking the beach. And the peaceful location.

The bungalows are in desperate need of updating, need painting, beds very hard, only 1 pillow. It’s very dark as is all the furniture ( including pool loungers and beach loungers) which also need updating. The restaurant is expensive and the food mediocre. The pho is absolutely tasteless! Only 2 or 3 staff on , so there always busy and the service isn’t great. And then we come to the issues they have with bedsheets and towels. There were stains on my sheets. I honestly don’t know how they got there? The receptionist said , it’s red wine or chocolate . We don’t drink red wine and certainly didn’t drink anything in the bed. Anyway, they said they were going to charge me 1.7 million dong for the sheets!! The housekeeper took the sheets, run them under cold water , made the stains worse and said we have to pay as the stains will not come out when they are washed. I took the sheets and using just hand soap and hot water from the tap got the stains out on 2 of the sheets. It made the housekeeper look silly! The last sheet there was still a faint mark on that I couldn’t remove fully. But they still wanted to charge me 600,000 dong even though they hadn’t been through a washing machine or taken by there external cleaning firm and attempted to be cleaned! I refused and they got funny about me checking out and leaving, calling security. I stood my ground and refused to pay. It was like they knew I was checking out the next day and tried to scam me! Really disappointing! As I had spent nearly £1000 to stay and eat at the place! The gym isn’t fit for purpose and dangerous. Overall the beach and pool are the best things about this place, but only if the suns out! If not there is nothing to do. Would not return

Delightful, naturally friendly staff everywhere. The reception team was especially helpful and efficient. Everybody seemed to enjoy their work, which pointed to the quality of the management. The wonderful staff is primarily what will make us want to return. The setting was magical: beautiful trees and gardens dotted with bungalows, overlooking a large swimming pool and the beach, with enough loungers for all guests. The swimming pool and the beach were great viewpoints for some amazing sunsets. Pleasant rooms, each with its own verandah and deck chairs perfect for an evening gin & tonic, beer or glass of wine. Plenty of hot water, good little fridge and competent air-conditioner. Free bicycles and kayaks, and very reasonably-priced motorbikes for hire, to get around. Ông Lang is a good place to be based, as there is a sense of community here, several pleasant, smallish beach resorts, a lot of restaurants of varying quality (the best being Mai Jo, close to Eco Beach Resort) and a busy, but nice, public beach. Not well-known is the superb, long, clean sandy beach (perfect for swimming) 150 metres north of the Resort, directly accessible from its beach-side restaurant, along a small, not very clean or easy coastal path - a 5 minute walk away. It's possibly not going to remain accessible forever, as the prime land there will certainly be developed one way or another very soon. This beach was also one reason why we chose Eco Beach Resort, but will not be the main reason for us to return. We had a delicious fresh whole fish in the restaurant (see further on).

The lighting in the rooms could have been better/brighter.The WiFi in our room was unstable, going off and on almost every minute, and the mattresses, though thick, were a little hard (for me). Breakfast was let down a bit by the fruit juices, which were so diluted with water that there was very little taste left. My Vietnamese friend, who also loved the resort and the natural friendliness of the staff, felt that the Vietnamese breakfast dishes were a little monotonous, and could have included some Phu Quoc specialities. Once again the breakfast staff were so pleasant and helpful that a few glitches here and there could easily be forgiven. Maybe, though, the fruit juices and Vietnamese dishes could be improved. In the restaurant, where we ate three times, I would say in general that the food we had was of average quality, with room for improvement. However, on our last evening we opted for the fresh fish (grouper), which was happily swimming around in the restaurant's tank, before appearing on our table. It was perfectly cooked, very delicious, and reasonably priced. Since there are fish tanks at the restaurant, I would suggest that fresh seafood could become a speciality of the resort, since the chef who cooked our fish has the skill to handle other seafood dishes, or could be trained to do so. I think that reducing the number of dishes on the menu down to those that can be really well-cooked, and then deciding to specialise in fresh seafood, would attract more guests and outside diners than is the case at present. Once again the restaurant staff were delightful. These few negative remarks are overwhelmingly outweighed by the positive aspects of the resort.

Aranżacja i komfort łazienek. Duże, wygodne pokoje. Rozlokowanie domków w ogrodzie - przestrzennie. Dobre śniadania. Widok na zachód słońca. Obsługa hotelowa. Czystość, ręczniki i pościel nie były zużyte. Zadbany ogród. Zadbana plaża i sprzęt plażowy.

Daleko do miasteczka.
