The location of the hotel is absolutely fantastic and convenience. In addition the breakfast buffet was amazing as there were a lot of opinions included. The hygiene of the hotel is absolutely amazing and I will come back again for sure:)

The only comment I will highlight was I went gym with my friend after 22:30 on the 26th of October. However we were unable to use the passenger elevator after leaving the gym at 00:00. Instead we had to use the cargo elevator and we felt uncomfortable of using it.

De service van personeel was uitstekend!

Het zwembad ging echt te vroeg dicht om 19.00 terwijl in vietnam heel de dag heet blijft. Het zou fijner zijn als we in de avond nog lekker konden afkoelen door te zwemmen.

Der Pool auf der 45. Etage ist schön, aber ...

... das Wasser ist sehr chlorhaltig und ganz trüb. Ob es gesundheitsschädigend ist, vermag ich nicht zu sagen. Hygiene ist allerdings ein massives Problem in diesem Hotel, s. dazu auch die zahlreichen anderen Reviews, wie z.B. jenen von Hyunsuk. Als wir ankamen, fanden wir noch Haare und ein Haargummi in der Dusche. Auch in den Handtüchern waren Haare und die Fugen hatten Schimmel. Wie sich dann als Höhepunkt herausstelle, wird die Bettwäsche nur alle 2-3 Tage gewechselt. Wir haben ja nichts dagegen, wenn die Laken AUF WUNSCH der Kunden nicht gewechselt werden, aber dies 'heimlich' einfach nur alle paar Tage zu tun, ist für ein 4 oder 5 Sterne Haus nach internationalen Standards absolut inakzeptabel. Fairerweise sei erwähnt, dass uns als Entschädigung ein Frühstück offeriert wurde, wofür wir auch einen Goodwill-Punkt vergeben (ob wenigstens in der Küche hygienische Mindeststandards eigehalten werden, kann an dieser Stelle nicht beurteilt werden). Ebenso wurde uns ein Entschuldigungsschreiben des General Managers versprochen, auf das wir allerdings bis heute warten — was wiederum ein Beleg dafür ist, dass diese Person die Prozesse absolut nicht im Griff hat. Dafür spricht auch, dass hier und an anderer Stelle auf Reviews mit Hygienebedenken immer wieder angekündigt wird, man nehme diese ernst und wolle sicher verbessern — offensichtlich blosse Lippenbekenntnisse! Letztlich kommt hier der Profit allzu offensichtlich vor Gastfreundschaft und Qualität. Das zeigt sich auch die Policy, dass die ausgeschriebenen Preise exkl. Steuern und Gebühren sind, was sehr unüblich für diese Region ist. Am Ende leidtun kann einem das Personal an der Front, das das Versagen des sogenannten 'Top'-Managements ausbaden muss. Courtyard by Marriott Da Nang is a modern and elegant hotel that combines luxury, comfort, accessibility, and outstanding hospitality. The hotel stands out with its contemporary architecture, stylish interiors, spacious layouts, and premium finishes, creating a sophisticated atmosphere throughout the property. What impressed us most was how well the hotel caters to elderly guests. The entire property is wheelchair-friendly, with step-free access, wide corridors, and spacious elevators that comfortably accommodate wheelchairs and walkers. The bathrooms are thoughtfully designed with walk-in showers, grab rails, non-slip flooring, bright lighting, and easy-to-use fixtures, making them safe and convenient for senior travelers. The staff were consistently patient, attentive, and always willing to assist. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and exceptionally well maintained, featuring premium bedding, modern amenities, fast Wi-Fi, and large windows that offer abundant natural light. Higher-floor rooms provide stunning views of Da Nang's skyline, coastline, and surrounding mountains, with particularly beautiful sunrise and nighttime city views. The rooftop bar is one of the hotel's highlights, offering a stylish setting and breathtaking panoramic views across the city. It is the perfect place to relax in the evening and enjoy the illuminated skyline. The swimming pool is equally impressive, with a modern design, excellent cleanliness, comfortable loungers, and a relaxing resort-like atmosphere. The breakfast buffet deserves special praise for its extensive selection of Vietnamese, Asian, and Western dishes. From fresh tropical fruits, juices, pastries, and coffee to made-to-order eggs and local specialties, the variety and quality were excellent throughout our stay. Service was outstanding at every touchpoint. The front desk team, housekeeping staff, restaurant personnel, and concierge all demonstrated the high standards expected from the Marriott brand.

They can increase the number of wheelchairs and smoothen elevator operations.

Großes, geräumiges Zimmer mit über Eck Glasfront, dadurch eine tolle Aussicht auf Fluss und Stadt und einer super zentralen Lage in Da Nang. Badezimmer mit vielen Annehmlichkeiten wie einer Badewanne an einem großen Fenster mit Aussicht auf den Fluss. Ein WC-Sitz mit integriertem Bidet und einigen Spielereien... Üppiges Frühstücksbuffet mit toller Speisen - und Getränkeauswahl.

Schon beim Eintreten in die Empfangshalle wirkt das Hotel kalt und nicht einladend. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist zwar höflich, aber nicht wirklich engagiert, "Dienst nach Vorschrift". Das Zimmer war sehr groß und wie oben geschrieben mit toller Aussicht, aber auch sehr kühl und ohne ansprechendes Ambiente. Zudem war unser Zimmer bei Einzug nicht richtig gereinigt, auf Tisch und Sesseln war eine klebrige Flüssigkeit vom Vorgänger und auf dem Bett und dem Boden lagen lange schwarze Haare (keine Haarfarbe, die wir besitzen). Nach unserer Reklamation wurde das Zimmer während wir in die Stadt gegangen sind, nochmal gereinigt und uns Getränke zur Entschuldigung bereitgestellt, was in Ordnung war... Das Kingsize-Bett war unbequem, die Matratze viel zu weich, man hat jede Bewegung des Partners gemerkt, weshalb wir hier am Schlechtesten von allen Übernachtungen unserer Asien Reise geschlafen haben. Über dem Bett gibt es einen Rauch-und Feuermelder der im 10-Sekunden Takt leuchend grün blinkt, was zusätzlich einen erholsamen Schlaf verhindert und extrem nervt. Der Frühstücks-Saal hat den Charme einer Mensa, man möchte sich dort nicht länger als nötig aufhalten, was schade ist, denn das Speisen - und Getränkeangebot ist wirklich super. Die Dachterasse mit Bar, die zwar eine legendäre Aussicht bietet, ist ungemütlich und "kalt" mit keinerlei Flair und Stil (übrigens genau wie der daneben liegend Rooftop-Pool), sodass man dort kaum verweilen möchte. Zudem hatten wir hier die schlechtesten und teuersten Cocktails unserer gesamten Reise. Insgesamt ist das Hotel, gerade wenn man den hohen Übernachtungspreis berücksichtigt, leider das schlechteste Hotel, was wir während unserer Asien Reise hatten. Wirklich schade, denn wir wollten uns in Da Nang "etwas richtig Gutes" gönnen....

Very Disappointing Stay – Not the Marriott Standard Our stay at Courtyard by Marriott Da Nang was unfortunately very disappointing and far below what we expect from a Marriott property. Arrival & Check-in: We arrived tired after traveling from Hanoi, hoping for a smooth check-in. However, the experience was quite the opposite. The front desk agent, Chloe, was unfriendly, showed no warmth or smile, and made the check-in process uncomfortable. She insisted on charging 1,000,000 VND per room as a “damage/security deposit,” explaining that it was in case guests damaged or sabotaged the room. This was extremely strange and not how deposits are usually handled in international hotels, where deposits are typically for incidental charges. After a long and uncomfortable discussion, she finally charged only one deposit per room, but the entire interaction left a very negative first impression. Housekeeping Issues: We stayed six nights and booked three rooms under the Al Suwaidi family. On our first full day, we left the hotel at 9:00 a.m. and returned at 6:00 p.m. to find that none of our rooms had been cleaned, despite clearly placing the “Please Clean My Room” sign before leaving. When we called the hotel, the excuse given was that they were “busy,” which is completely unacceptable for a Marriott-branded hotel. After a lot of back-and-forth, housekeeping was finally sent. Unfortunately, this issue happened again the day before our last night, and once more it took over an hour and a half (until around 8:00 p.m.) before someone came to clean the room. Each time, we received different explanations from different staff members, which showed a lack of coordination and accountability. Even when the rooms were cleaned, the quality was very poor — dusty surfaces, floors not properly cleaned or vacuumed, and only minimal effort overall. This was extremely frustrating and uncomfortable for us as guests.

Cet hôtel est très agréable. Le personnel est particulièrement aimable et réactif. Étant un établissement récent, ouvert en 2025, tout est neuf et de très bonne qualité. Les deux piscines ainsi que l’ensemble des équipements sont excellents. L’hôtel bénéficie également d’un emplacement idéal : il est facile de se rendre à pied aux restaurants voisins ou au marché. J’ai eu l’occasion de déjeuner et dîner au restaurant de l’hôtel : la cuisine y est bonne, sans être exceptionnelle, mais le buffet du petit-déjeuner est, quant à lui, excellent. Le service de blanchisserie est également très efficace. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel, situé juste à côté du Hilton, où j’ai déjà eu l’occasion de séjourner.

.Je trouve vraiment dommage que le minibar soit entièrement vide et qu’il faille appeler le service « All Service » par téléphone pour obtenir quoi que ce soit. De plus, la carte du minibar propose très peu de choix, aussi bien pour les boissons que pour du grignotage Autre point étonnant : si vous passez commande auprès du « All Service » alors que le voyant de porte de chambre « Ne pas déranger » est activé, le personnel se contente de glisser un coupon dans la porte sans sonner ni frapper et de vous rappeler ensuite par téléphone pour vous informer que la livraison n’a pas pu être effectuée… Je trouve cela assez absurde, surtout quand on vient tout juste de passer commande. Enfin, séjournant dans une chambre exécutive, je m’attendais à un accueil spécifique et à l’accès à un lounge gratuit, comme c’est le cas dans la plupart des hôtels de ce standing. Malheureusement, ce n’était pas le cas ici : toutes les consommations y sont payantes.
