Location is perfect. Near to everything you needed. Staff are also kind. They allowed us to use the storage room after check out for our luggages and assisted us in carrying our luggages to our ride going to the airport.
Rooms are not soundproof. I hear everything from the hallway. One night, I almost thought someone is trying to get inside our room as I heard knocking but apparently it was just the room close to us.

Great location. The ben tham market is directly in front of you. There's a bunch of 7/11 by the hotel. Plus loads of food options

Tento hotel jsme navštivili uz v lonskem roce a pro jeho polohu a sluzby jsme se letos vratili.
Poloha hotelu je perfektni, personal prijemny, snidane luxusni, cistota take. Vyhled z okna na vecerni mesto byl dechberouci😍.

You can’t ask for a better location!!! This is SO CENTRAL to everything you want and need to do while in the city!!! You can walk to almost everywhere!!!

Better than average typical Saigon city hotel but excellent location opposite the market and walking distance to main sights. Used by small tour groups.
Super friendly staff, excellent fresh breakfast, lots of hot water, good night's sleep.
Would certainly consider again

Proximity to Ben Tanh market
Staff to be more welcoming. Doorman is bloody cocky. Refused a tip claiming it’s small for him. Perhaps upset that we didn’t book a ride thru him. Everything in hotel has a price tag. Slippers, soap tray, glass, cups etc. Read in an earlier review that a guest was forced to pay VD1mil for a bump on toilet seat. And that’s after negotiations. So peace of mind was affected. The only factor that would make me book Avanti again is the proximity to the main market area. Otherwise I would not return.

Perfect location for shoppers and catching taxis. Value for money. Bell boys most helpful. Front office staff most helpful. Hotel was able to store our suitcase a few day prior to our check-in. Lots of good restaurants within walking distance.
The hotel entrance was dirty and smelly. No elevators to the hotel lobby and Front Desk. Need to climb a few plights of stairs. But Bell boys alway ready to assist. Room I got had face a concrete wall.

Location! Ben Thanh market is literally across the road from the hotel. Friendly staff.

The staff was very friendly.
There was pubic hair on the floor of the bathroom and shower. Also, there was lots of other random hair in the room. Considering I'm blonde and all the hair was black I know it wasn't mine... also, hotel cochin zen was down the street and the same price

The room wasn’t very clean, with black mold visible on the sink and shower. The condensation was an issue—I had to keep the window open constantly because of the damp caused by the shower. On top of that, the noise from the street was really disturbing, especially with the nightclub open every night.

Good location
Except one female staff in the reception others were not cheerful and enthusiastic to support the guests. Not easy for a 70 year old to pull up or bring down suitcases without assistance.

Die Mitarbeiter waren nett und hilfsbereit (Wir haben auf vietnamesisch gesprochen). Die Kommunikation über Booking.com-Chat war auf Englisch möglich und sie konnten auf Anfrage auch einen Airport Shuttle anbieten (haben wir abgelehnt, weil wir eine Alternative gefunden haben).
Die Lage des Hotels war Top, direkt beim Ben Thanh Markt, was sehr praktisch ist, wenn man noch nie in Vietnam war (was den teuren Preis erklärt: Das Hotel war okay, aber in einer anderen Lage würde es den Preis nicht erklären können).
Die Vorhänge müssen dringend ausgetauscht werden. Diese waren löchrig und schmutzig. Die Badetücher waren schon sehr alt. Der Schnitt des Zimmers war interessant... Wir hatten 2 Zimmer gebucht gehabt: Deluxe Doppelzimmer mit Stadtblick. In einem Zimmer war das Bad separat, beim anderen Zimmer war das Waschbecken, Spiegel, etc. im Eingangsbereich und die Dusche und Toilette direkt daneben (nur durch eine semitransparente Glastür getrennt).

The room was a reasonable size and the bed was comfortable enough. The buffet breakfast selection was good and the hotel was nearby to several good bars and restaurants. There was a restaurant in house but we did not eat there so can't comment on the food served. The hotel was right opposite Ben Thanh market which was handy for tourist shopping and for catching the City Bus Tour for one of the routes. (The main town tour bus stop is a short walk away).
There is a disco almost opposite the hotel which plays very loud music until around 2am and you can hear it from the rooms which face the market. Our friends changed their room to one at the back (with no view) and said it was much quieter in there. Shower pressure was not the greatest.

we used our room as a day stay , to shop in the near by markets which was across the road, and to freshener up before travelling back to Australia. The Taxi from airport was $15AUD we had travelled from Paris and had a 6 hour layover to Australia. Would do it again.

Hotel antigo , instalações precisando de um “up” e Localização ótima em frente a atração Mercado Ben Thran assim como demais top atrações e área comercial. Café da manhã variado bem servido com opções continental e locais. Funcionários da parte da manhã atenciosos mas os da tarde….
Fiz reserva de 2 quartos “com vista da cidade” (e paguei por isso) já que éramos 03 amigos (2 em um quarto twin e outro sozinho em 1 quarto) porém somente nos deram um com “vista da cidade” e o outro com vista dos fundos. Na mesma tarde em que fizemos check in, questionei o responsável na recepção sobre isso, que mal me atendeu insinuando que pelo “vidro com película fosca (absurdo) que faz como parede externa do box ” (por sinal muitíssimo perigoso -foto anexada) eu tinha vista - e depois me ignorou dando as costas e falando com outro na recepção. Sem comentários por tal atitude! Anexo respectivamente, primeiro Foto comparativa do que se via da janela de um apartamento com vista dos fundos (segundo recepção vista da cidade) e do outro recebido com vista formal da cidade). I felt cheated! Pay for something and not receiving it!!! Depois nós falamos entre nós , que melhor não discutir já que estávamos em fim de férias, depois de 30 dias viajando pela região - Malásia e Singapura,(20 dos quais no Vietnã, para não estragar a imagem de bom passeio e eficiência respeito que tivemos em todos os outros locais.

Easy location. Quick walk to the beach. Great views from room and pool. We had the penthouse suite it was amazing!! The hotel stored our luggage until we were ready to leave, had a shower and changing room for us, and arranged transportation to the train station for us. Laundry easy to have done nearby from hotel. Easy to arrange tours. Great food and massages around town. Beach has a great inflatable playground.

The location right next to Ben Thanh market was great. I felt safe in this location and also in the hotel. The bed was comfy. The breakfast was really good with a lot of different options to choose from.
The air conditioner did not really work. I had cranked down to 18C (64F) and yet it definitely never got to that. The room was warm all night to the point that I couldn't sleep very well. Although I did not hear any city traffic noise, I could hear every key scan jingle and then every door open and close and conversations in the hallway in the middle of the night. I didn't notice it when I arrived, but with the lights off I could see that there were small gaps in the door frame and under the door which allowed for noise to filter in.

The property is very accessible to all. We just walk around to visit the main tourist areas and a lot of restaurants, spa, shopping centers, and etc to choose from. The staff are also nice and the breakfast is pretty decent. The view is also a plus for us because in front is the ben than market which radiates at night. Very happy to our stay.

Location is perfect opposite the ben thanh. Our family of four stayed in two side by side rooms. It was perfect for what we needed. The breakfasts were fabulous.
Only small comment was the shower had no space to change clothes so we had to juggle rooms for our teenage son and daughter to change.

Phòng lúc đầu mình đặt điều hoà kêu kinh khủng lắm nhưng bạn lễ tân đã nâng hạng phòng free cho vợ chồng mình và thái độ của bạn cũng rất thân thiện. Nói chung, chuyến đi SG của vợ chồng mình rất tuyệt 😘

Location was superb, plenty of vendors available and right opposite to Ben Thanh Market. We arrived at night and glad to see the area still very bustling!
Breakfast options were okay, nothing too spectacular about it given the price we paid. Hotel staff were generally ok when we requested for help, but not too proactive nor attentive. The design for the shower and toilet being separated seemed a bit odd at first, but it wasn't something we can't work it.

The room was good, clean, and supported with all needed amenities. The bed was comfy, and the air conditioning and water heater are also in good condition. The location is exactly in front of Ben Thanh Market, the most visited place in the city. Just a 10-minute walk away, you can arrive at Saigon Square in front of the Ho Chi Minh Statue. For those who are looking for Halal food, there are plenty of Halal restaurants just a 5-minute walk from the hotel. It is very convenient. The hotel also provide breakfast with various menu.
The hotel reception is on second floor, so you need to walk the stairs, so those with big luggage maybe will have an issue. But, after checked-in, there is elevator to all rooms behind the reception.

The hotel is just opposite to the ben thanh market and to the town.
The air con was not working well (very warm) and it was not rectified until we checked out. They gave a stand fan to complement the aircon after many complaints.

I booked a room listed as having city views and that was the highlight. Great view of the skyline, particularly at night. Location wise it was very centric with several places to tour within walking distance and the main market was right across the street. The buffet breakfast was also good. The staff at the front desk was ok -no complaints although all my other hotels (several other cities in Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia) had staff that went out of their way, the ones at Avanti just did their job. The room was clean and modern. The common hallways would benefit with a cleaning/paint job and carpet replacement.
There was a section above the bathroom ceiling that had something to do with the AC and the control that turns on/off the electricity when the key card was inserted -it was very loud and rattled like an old motor- to the point that we had to remove the key card to be able to sleep. Not a permanent fix as the room got hot after a few hours at night and we had to wake up to insert the key card again for it to cool down.

I definitely liked the location. It is 1 road across from Ben thahn market.
The AC was not working at all and despite being told it was fixed, it wasn't. The room had very dim flickering lighting and the window faced a wall in close proximity. Definitely not like the images shown on the website.

Hotellet ligger i distrikt 1, så det var nemt at komme rundt og se de seværdigheder som ligger inde i centrum.
Der var dog meget støj fra gaden, så jeg vil anbefale at bede om et værelse så højt oppe som muligt. Vi boede på 9. Sal.

Nous avons été bien accueillis. Les lits sont confortables et les draps sont propres. La situation géographique est parfaite, en face du marché donc c'est très pratique.
La description indiquait une terrasse, or elle n'y était pas. J'avais même posé la question lors de la réservation et on m'avait confirmé qu'il y avait une terrasse. Le petit déjeuner est vraiment décevant, il y a très peu de choix, rien ne donnait envie. La salle de bain et la chambre manquent vraiment de lumière. Ils ont mis des ampoules économiques partout, c'est un peu pénible quand on cherche quelque chose dans sa valise et qu'on ne voit rien. Idem pour se maquiller. Une console avec miroir aurait été appréciable.

Right in the middle of district 1 opposite Ben Thanh Market. Bed comfy and good AC. Handy for the airport.
Staff not the friendliest. Breakfast was manic. One toaster for the number of guests not sufficient. Third time staying here and if it were not for the location I wouldn't have bothered. No view from room at all, just a concrete wall.

Location great, breakfast was good. Comfortable bed. Doorman outside very helpful in speaking to the taxi driver
Arrived an hour before check in and was sent away by reception and firmly told check in was 14:00. No offer of an early check in which was very disappointing. Truth is I don't think they could find my booking. Room very small and only one bedside cabinet. Had to use the very oversized office chair as a temporary table! No view!

The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was nice, the cleaners did a good job of getting the room clean and tidy.
There is a couple of negatives here, when I arrived I was given a twin room with a shower, I had booked a double room with a hot tub, this was changed after I questioned this with the manager but still ended up with a room with no hot tub. The other issue was when I wanted to bring a friend back to the room, I was told I had to pay for another room even thought I had purchased a room for two people, but to avoid any issues I paid for the extra room, I was given no receipt and was not given any keys for another room ? I suspect they have some sort of a scam going on to get extra money from people. The other down side was the noise from the market in the morning, it starts at 6am and is quite loud, if your a light sleeper this will be a problem.

Die Lage war perfekt. Wir konnten viele Sehenswürdigkeiten vom Hotel aus zu Fuß erreichen. Der Blick vom Fenster auf die Hochhäuser bei Nacht war klasse. Das Frühstücksbuffet hat für jeden was geboten.

Sehr gute Lage, gleich neben dem Markt. Viele Restaurants und Geschäfte in der Umgebung.
Ziemlich laut, direkt an der Straße, Fenster nicht schalldicht.

Lage gut gegenüber Markthalle
Nachts sehr laute Discogeräusche. Nach dem ich mich beschwert hatte - passierte erstmal gar nix da das Nacht Personal mieseste Englisch Kenntnisse hatte. Nach 40 Minuten bin ich dann runter gegangen und habe mir 2 alternative Zimmer zeigen lassen. Davon war eins dann genauso laut und das andere etwas ruhiger. Nicht zu empfehlen

市場の隣で周辺に店が多く便利。今後は地下鉄開業でよ便利に。
きれいで、部屋がゆったり、スタッフの対応も良い。
市場ビューでしたが、枠の関係でたいして景色が良くない。窓の開閉不可。 窓なしよりは良いですが。

the location and room is clean and spacious.
We booked a family room. 3 adults in one room. At check-in hotel front desk staff issued us only one keycard. i asked for another as sometime we do not come back together. Hotel staff refused stating it hotel policy! So one of our mates went clubbing and one of remaining us had to stay awake so he can enter the room. Whoever manager put in that rule is clearly an idiot!

Decent spread for breakfast
Shower, sink and toilet are all separate with the sink exposed to the bed area. Sound proofing of the room is very poor and every night there was loud booming music from a neighbouring club from 10pm onwards until at least 2am!!

Great shower once it was fixed. Couldnt get it to work. Had to request twice to get it looked at and fix broken part. Find slow to respond, never sure if you are understood and just need to wait or if they didnt get message.
Also excellent breakfast but I left too early to get it 2nd morning and takeaway substitute could have been better.
When I arrived no one would help me get bag up dozen or so steepish steps at entrance. I am 70yr old woman. Man from shop next door saw me struggling and came to help. Only then did one of three male hotel staff standing around at reception offer assistance. Similarly when I left at 5.15 am I was left waiting in street with taxi for someone to bring bag down tho in hurry to get to train station. One male staff refused to do it or let me do it and made me wait til other man arrived, tho I had let them know beforehand what time I needed to leave and had train to catch, by which time I was about to do it myself. Slow and not customer service oriented. Some staff very good, but variable
