La situation était idéale, proche de train street et du centre historique. La piscine, fort petite, mais idéale pour se rafraîchir. La terrasse sur le toit est très agréable.

La terrasse est fermée avant 16h30. Il est donc impossible de prendre un verre ou manger un petit quelque chose durant la journée.

Breakfast was standard . Veg Items were few. Room was ok with comfy bed. Location was quiet, near train street (about 500m away). Staff were very courteous.

The Room I booked was supposed to have a balcony, which was there but size was 1ftx3ft-useless for all purpose. The Bathroom commode shower or widget was really bad and throwing out water at great pressure as to cut something. The location was ok but there are much better locations near the Hoam Kiem Lake at much cheaper price. We stayed at another hotel near the lake which was more comfortable.

The staff were lovely from start to finish. The reception staff were attentive and would greet us as we walked past. They were also very helpful when we wanted to book a tour - we booked a street food tour through them and it was zero hassle. It felt like a good location, slightly on the edge of the Old Quarter but easily accessible walking to what we want to see! Our room was a lovely respite from the loud streets, the double doors onto our balcony really cut the sound down to nearly nothing. The breakfast was a great combo of cooked to order items with a buffet selection with Asian and Western cooked items, salads, fruits, juices etc. The hotel's spa is also great, we took advantage of that for one of our afternoons before heading out again in the evening. The spa options are varied and there's a good deal for the afternoon!

The pool has limited space, when I went to swim, the only 5 loungers were taken up by others. Thankfully I had minimal interest in sitting around for too long as part of a city holiday. The outdoor to indoor sound insulation is great, though we could hear our hotel room neighbours when they were chatting quite loudly at night!

Unfortunately I can’t pass by this stay without leaving a feedback. I want to warn everyone from being scammed. To be fair I will still mention good things: - staff was very kind but not able to fix the issue with their overpriced old facilities - bed and linen were clean and comfortable - location was good - good soundproof because of the double doors of the balcony

This hotel pictures are a scam. They do not represent the actual reality of the facility. The hotel is extremely old, moldy and dirty. The bathroom being especially worn out and damaged. There is a foul smell coming from the sewage and dust covering everything in the hotel. Common areas are not air conditioned, gym is not air conditioned, pool is a poor condition, everything smells like humidity and they do renovations works such as paintings in the presence of guests. The hotel charges 5150000 VND equivalent of 730 AED or 200 USD per night for the room which they called a suite. This price is absolute scam and is not matching with local market value and can not be advertised as luxury accommodation due to old condition of the hotel which requires a complete renovation. Housekeeping was not satisfactory even after offering me a “deep cleaning”. Just to be fair I want to address the manager Tony who were very nice to me and trying to fix things, however my stay was ruined and my expectations were not met. Paying outrageously high wages for Vietnam per night and getting an old smelly and dirty room was the least I could expect. Breakfast was also average with coffee which you need to pay extra and it was very poor quality and taste. No halal meat was offered, absolutely all meat presented was pork. Also I like to have my breakfast privately in the room, but I was said that this is not possible and if I want to take away some items from the breakfast room they can make an exception but I still have to up and carry it myself. Which was not a point. The point of having breakfast in the room is a privacy and not needing to go out anywhere in the morning. Regarding the coffee- there’s no coffee machine in the room which is absolutely unacceptable for the price and level of the room advertised as a “suite”. I was offered a partial refund at 22:30 when I was coming back from a day full of activities and tired. I declined.

Die Lage des Aira Boutique Hotels ist wirklich fantastisch! In wenigen Minuten ist man mittendrin in Trubel der Altstadt von Hanoi, eine kleine Walking Street mit vielfältiger Gastronomie ist quasi direkt um die Ecke. Auch die Train Street ist innerhalb von nur 3 Minuten fußläufig zu erreichen, so ist man mittendrin im Zauber dieser wunderbaren Stadt. Unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig, die Betten waren unfassbar bequem. In der Minibar gab es jeden Tag kostenloses Mineralwasser und gekühlte Cola, auch Kaffee und Tee für den Start in den Tag wurden immer kostenfrei angeboten. Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption waren bemüht, jedem Wunsch nachzugehen und brachten auch zu später Stunde gern noch Eiswürfel aufs Zimmer oder halfen uns bei der Besorgung einer besonderen Sonnencreme für unseren Sohn. Alles in allem ein wirklich tolles, kleines Hotel, besonders geeignet, wenn man Hanoi zu Fuß erkunden und in der Nähe der Altstadt sein möchte, ohne mitten im Gewühl übernachten zu wollen.

Das Hotel ist vielleicht etwas in die Jahre gekommen, und die Bilder im Internet sind etwas vielversprechende als das, was man vor Ort vorfindet. Bei den Zimmern kann man dies nicht sagen, aber die Skybar und auch der Pool waren nicht das, was wir aufgrund der Beschreibung im Internet erwartet hätten. Das Frühstück war für den Preis okay, aber gerade in Asien haben wir egal ob in Thailand, auf Bali oder Singapur, andere, größere und sehr vielfältigere Frühstücksbuffets erlebt. Der Pool ist leider etwas klein, leider auch nicht geheizt. Die drei liegen am Pool bieten für die Gäste, die vielleicht nach einer Tour durch Stadt etwas entspannen möchten, nicht genügend Platz. Es leider auch fehlt: ein gemütlicher Rückzugsort wie ein Garten oder eine gemütliche Bar im Inneren des Hotels. Die Lobby ist okay, aber wenn man sich etwas zurückziehen möchte und vielleicht etwas ausruhen möchte, bleibt leider nur das Zimmer oder die Skybar oder die Sessel in der Lobby.
